A Ford excursion showed up. Everything was wrong. The price that was originally quoted and verified was $100 more. The limo smelled horrific, the ceiling was leaking on to us in multiple spots. The cloth on the ceiling was hanging. The radio did not work. The privacy screen didn't work. The lights were hanging down. At one point, our driver couldn't get our door open and when he finally did, it wouldn't shut. The heat was stuck, on high in the back. And because the privacy window was broke, I could see our driver. The front windshield was fogged over. I moved up to the front and asked the driver to put his defroster on, and he stated that it does not work. The heat stays on in the back but does not work in the front. Once we got to the mother son dance, I might driver came in and asked what time we reserve the limo until. I told him 930. He then stated that he only had me down until 730 and he had to leave because he had somewhere else to be. I missed half of my mother/son dance with my fifth-grade son trying to make sure our limo driver did not leave. The man that I dealt with at this company, the man I booked the limo through, Mike, ignored me for three days after. When he finally did call, I told him everything that was wrong and I expected our money back. He refused and was to get back with me. His excuse for having an excursion instead of a Cadillac Escalade was that the Cadillac had broken that day. He never even called to inform me to let us know that the car we ordered was no longer available. This guy Mike is full of it! He is not honest by any means and does not care about customer service! I made a reservation with Rochestor Limousine for a party bus on April 23. The total for this…read morereservation was $1500 plus tip ($300). The bus arrived on time. The driver was a man named Diontae. Within 10 minutes of our journey, it had become extremely hot in the bus. I tried adjusting the temperature using the temperature pad but it kept blowing hot air. I told Diontae what was going on. He made some suggestions but nothing he was saying worked. I had 3 other people in my party try, but nothing was working. It was an 80 degree day and the temperature inside the cabin read 87 degrees. I had two elderly people on board along with several children. The conditions were terrible. People were extremely uncomfortable and nauseous. Two people threw up (in bags) on the bus. When we arrived to our destination, I had told Diontae there was no way we could take this bus back home. The problem had to be fixed or the bus had to be replaced. I had texted Diontae during our time off the bus. He said the problem was fixed. We got on the bus and within 5 minutes, realized the problem was not fixed at all. As a matter of fact, it was HOTTER than it was driving down. The conditions were extremely uncomfortable and dangerous.  I called Rochestor Limo the next day and spoke to Ronnie. He told me he would call me on the following day to discuss (this never happend). I contacted the bus driver Diontae. I then learned that the bus belonged to Top Notch Limo in Troy (Ronnie's cousin). I called that office on Monday. Spoke to a young lady who told me someone from Top Notch Limo would be contacting me the next day. That also never happened. After contacting Top Notch again, they told me they would be sending me a check for a paltry $200-a far cry from the ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS I paid these jokers. I contacted Ronnie from Rochester Limo. He said "Didn't my cousin give you $300?" No Ronnie, it was actually only $200. To say I'm unhappy is an understatement. I spent ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS on a miserable experience that made everyone sick. My family is in the restaurant business and I deal with the public every day. I am not one to complain. But both Rochester Limo and Top Notch Limo are worthy of a terrible review. Both companies communicate poorly and are certainly not worth taking a chance on. Look elsewhere if you want a better experience than I had.

5 star service!!…read more Visiting a new city is always stressful. You have to pick a hotel, find your way to the place, and on top of this you have to do this blindly, not knowing the city. Thanks to the yelpers, I found Motor City Limo and called them 3 months prior to the trip to book the transfer to/ from the airport / hotel. A few days prior to the trip I get a confirmation email, and then on the day of the trip I get an email reminding me of my pick up. The only down part is, if you don't have access to email, you would not get this reminder. As I landed I got an email telling me my driver was on the way and a photo of Anton. Then I got a text message telling me he's at the Coffee Bean with an iPad sign. Total communication .. love it! He was so easy to find, and we had no communication problem. Anton was a great driver and guide. Our SUV was warm and he even gave us bottled water to sip on. Chatty but not overly chatty, and gave us tips on what to do in Detroit. I asked Motor City to allow me to tip the driver with cash, and I gave Anton a very generous tip for a job well done. On the day of our return we had "GG" and she was excellent as well. Bright and early at 7 am on as Sunday, she was chipper and friendly. She grew up in Detroit and told us how things have changed in the new Detroit revival. Just like our arrival, Motor City gave me plenty of confirmations and notifications, so I did not stress if my reservation would be there or not. I received a frantic call from my bride standing in front of the hotel where she was supposed to meet the shuttle to take her and the bridal party to the venue and there was no shuttle. I called dispatch in a panic and they didn't have an answer for where vehicle was. They said the driver had left on time an hour prior but was now MIA. The 30-person shuttle we had booked for 10 hours of transfer service never showed up. They eventually sent a small SUV ~6 hours after our service was scheduled to start, but that didn't help much. Rather than enjoying our wedding day, I spent the afternoon and evening trying to coordinate rides for grandparents, family members and other guests from the hotel to the venue and then back to the hotel at the end of the night. MCL has since refunded my money but that doesn't begin to compensate for the chaos they caused. I would not recommend this service for anyone planning a wedding.
