The board failed within 3 weeks and they will not even look at the unit without me paying another diagnostic fee. This company is a total scam!!!! No honor - no pride in the way they work. Just horrible people

Here are some examples: Changed a faucet that dripped for YEARS that I was told was not fixable. Not only was it not dripping but he closed up the rusty old hole and made the tile look like the hole was never there. Had the uuuugliest fluorescent light in the living room, like "Joe vs the volcano" level, he replaced it, made it look like it was just all a bad dream. He replaced and fixed the kitchen door so it was even with the floor, when the door would open it would get stuck because the floor was not even, so he did some mathematical engineering and got it to work. He stabilized the dried out wooden pergola over the patio with wood and new metal supports so it didn't have to be torn down, saved a lot of money. He was able to design and construct from scratch a gorgeous washer and dryer enclosure that replaced a UGLY UGLY termite eaten shed that disintegrated when you barely touched it, rusted nails coming out, doors falling off the hinges. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, asking questions that involved functional design, placement, aesthetics. Even matched the hardware to the fences, which really was supercool. He also replaced a variety of ceiling fans, ceiling lights, bathroom faucet, drain, lights, kitchen drains, electrical plugs, fix a fence, and problem solve regarding how to hide wires, electrical cords. Long story short, I would highly recommend Brandon for house repairs, fixes, and design problem solving. His work is very thorough, detail and quality oriented, and he is very professional and is really an expert at what he does.

Jesse showed up and called me on his cell phone to make certain I was home. I lowered the door to show him the problem and he recognized that one of the rollers was broken (which I knew about). He also noted that one of the springs was broken. He then called the insurance company and his supervisor and informed me that he needed to collected the service fee prior to initiating and completing the repairs. He then informed me that it might be wise to replace the other spring (he gave me his rationale and told me he was not trying to sell me something). I considered his reasons and decided to have him also replace the other spring. He also suggested that I replace all of the rollers instead of just the bad one. He again told me why, what the cost would be, and and provided me with information about the warranty on all the repairs. I told him to also replace replace all the rollers. There was never any pressure from him to complete the additional work. He basically was informing me about my options. He was professional and completed the work in a short period of time. I encountered no problems with him, and he was very pleasant at all times. I would have him complete repairs on my garage door in the future. read more

I just bought a house here locally in Southern California WOW it sure is expensive out here... Our garage door did not have a remote when we moved into our new residence. It only worked with the wall switch. We had a technician from Heritage Garage Door (Murrieta, CA) come by to check it. He could not get the Genie universal remote to work, claiming that the mother board was inoperable. He gave us a price for a new mother board and refurbishment at approximately $500+, and also alternate choices of a complete re-installation ranging from $750 to $995. We had another assessment done by Exit Garage Doors, and Jesse, their service technician, had the unit running in minutes after programming the remote. He also serviced and balanced our garage door so that it would open more effectively and efficiently. Exit door garage doors are one of the best, I take it back they are the only ones I will ever do business with when it comes to my garage door the person that came to help me his name was George he was absolutely fabulous courteous professional and he taught me things that I need to know about my garage door so I know the next time I can't say enough nice things. My name is Gilbert and I called American Home Shield for my broken garage door. Exit Garage Door Inc. was assigned for my service call with a phone number. I called and Jessie answered. I explained my problem and needed service. Jessie advised me he would contact one of his technicians and call me back which he did with in an hour. He advised me that his technician George would be there the next day between 10am-2pm. George arrived before 10am. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He then asked if I had ever had a tune- up on my garage door and explained the service and price. Sure glad I listened to him. My garage door is the quietest it's ever been since I've owned it. I am a 66 yr old female recovering stroke patient. On April 4, 2016 I had to run errands and I had a very important doctors appointment later that afternoon. I went to open up my garage and the door would not open, I panicked and I called Exit Garage Doors and talked with Jesse and he gave me the cell phone number of his technician George. I called George and explained the importance of me getting my car out of the garage. He told me that he would be able to come the same day in about 2 hrs. George came and repaired the door in about 20 minutes. I offered him a tip and he refused to accept it, HOW WONDERFUL IS THAT TECHNICIAN. i RECOMMEND EXIT GARAGE DOORS AND GEORGE TO THE OTHERS MEMBERS OF THIS ASSOCIATION, FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS. Our warranty with AHS recommended Exit Garage Door, Inc. and they responded promptly. Fernando assessed the problem of our garage door, patiently explained to us the problem and contacted the warranty company for us. The fact that we talked to the warranty/insurance company to find out what is covered or not, made it easy for us to deal with what needs to come out of our pocket. Though there was a deductible/copay to be covered, Fernando fixed and made the garage door run smoothly and lighten the lift and closing of the door so the motor and mechanism was not struggling in opening and closing the garage door. Considering the work Fernando had to do on the gears, track, rollers(replacement) and maintenance the price was good and fair. read more

We called another company to replace our broken garage door. During the consultation I was asked if the opener worked and I said yes. Nothing more was said about it. The door was replaced and it came up fine, but it would not go down. The workers from this other company checked a few engine parts and said the whole motor had to be replaced -- $450. I called American Home Shield. They sent out Exit Garage Doors and they knew the problem just by the sound of the engine. Jesse & Fernando were outstanding in many ways. Truly went "above & beyond the call of duty". Scheduled me for an appointment for service on the same day on short notice. They gave me a courtesy call letting me know that they were 10 minutes away. Had a garage door that would not close and after trying all the tricks I could think of gave up and called EXIT Garage Doors Inc. They said they could have someone to my home within in hour. Sure enough, about 45 minutes later Jesse arrived. It took him about 90 seconds to diagnose and fix the problem. Happy with their service. I knew something more was wrong with our garage and it was not safe for our two young children. The last time out 11/25, he said your opener (chain drive Sears Craftsman) is on its last leg and hopefully should last until after Christmas or the New year. Here we are almost 6/26 and it finally gave up the ghost. I called Dan. He scheduled me the next day and brought out a new opener and all the new fixings! He came on time, immediately went to work and had the work done in less than an hour (would have been quicker but I kept asking questions and telling stories-sorry Dan). Charged me the same price he quoted almost a year earlier and cleaned up and was gone!
