Awful don't use them. My Home Warranty company American Home Sheild (equally horrible) used them to do some contract work on my garage door. I needed a new spring and it was covered. The inspection was done and the warranty claim was approved. Exit told me they wouldn't do the repairs unless I paid them an additional $350 to replace all rollers on the door. Its been 110 degrees out and I just wanted to get my car in the garage. The garage door seemed to be working fine. One month later I got up early to clean out the garage while it was cool. I opened the other garage door they did not service and the cables and spool on the other garage door got bound up on the one they "fixed". Annoyed I looked up a the door and the winding bar from the door they "fixed" had been pushed into the winding bar on the other garage door causing the cables to fall off. (You can see the marks on the winding bar as they did not put everything back where it originally was.) I wasn't about to call Speed Gonzales Garage Service back out to my house so I pulled out the Sawzall and cut 2 inches off the winding bar of the door they "fixed". I then was able to disconnect the roller and cable of the other door and address it. This was now working properly. Now that this was fixed I started blowing down the garage and a red bolt blew out from somewhere on the floor. I looked up and could see that one of the bolts that holds the spring in place (should be 2 on each spring) was never installed. I started looking at everything at this point and noting was full tightened. One of the rollers for the cable on the right side of the door was not tightened as well. I don't get it. I'm so tired of the crap labor out here in Coachella Valley. This is why I usually choose to do things myself. read more

This company came out to checkout my garage door (through an American Home Shield request) to find out why it was getting stuck. They basically spent two minutes to reprogram the remote and then mentioned that the door looked like it hadn't been serviced at all as the rollers (he said) were about to fall apart. He then said that since he told me this that he would not be able to come back out to fix it, even if I entered in a new request with AHS. He then quoted me $400 for new wheels and installation. I ended up paying him, but then found out that this took him and his coworker 10 minutes to do. I'm very tempted to enter a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but I will NEVER use them again, even through American Home Shield! And shame on AHS for using them! read more

I purchased a garage door from Jesse from exit doors eight months later the doors came off the track when I called the company to have someone service the doors. Jesse stated that it would be $ 250 to have someone come out and even look at the doors I explained that the doors were under warranty. He stated that coming off the tracks was not a part of the warranty. There was an issue with my electrical wiring and they went above and beyond and connect the motor to an outlet that worked and then found an issue with the motor and had it replace right there and then. Jesse came out to handle a home warranty repair of my garage door. he informed me that warranty did not cover the wheels that needed to be replaced on my garage door and I needed those replaced. He charged me $395 to do this. I guess it was my fault for not doing any price checking. It took him 10 minutes and $30 worth of materials to replace the rollers. I have since done some price checking and a normal price for this job would be somewhere between $150 and $200 not to mention I am more than capable of doing the job myself. Had I taken the time to just YouTube it. That is on me I guess but this company is not trustworthy and do not trust them for any price quotes as it will be far above market value. The quality of work I guess is fine because the job he did was not difficult. Jesse came out within 2 days of my panicked call to First American home warranty about my garage door opener not working. I have a Ryobi which is not standard on the market. It crapped out when I needed to program more remotes. Jesse was on time, courteous, and responsive when scheduling and communicating eta. Most of all, he not only got it working again and helped to program the remotes. I was worried from all the reviews with bad experiences from their home warranty calls. I myself have had a subpar garage door opener call in the past from Old Republic and with another garage door company, so I could see how that would happen. However, it was a big sigh of relief that it didn't happen to me this time. He did mention tune-up and replacement of the door motors which are not covered by warranty but I could see why, as mine were squeaky and not smooth.
