Thought about making reservations, but instead we just got there right when they opened and there would've been no need. Granted it was a work week night, literally for the entire hour we were there only two tables arrived. And I was counting us. Perhaps later you might want a reservation or you might have to wait. There were only about seven or eight tables me entire thing so it's cozy. The one person running the cash register and taking orders, was very kind, but a little distracted on her phone. I wonder if she was doing work. She was very sweet though and gave good recommendations. My friend got the Ragu while I opted for the gnocchi. I actually preferred the Ragu for sure. The meat was tender and delicious, and the noodles were thick and delightful. The gnocchi kind of tasted a little, bland and repetitive. To be honest, I wish we could've shared like five tiny plates. Felt like I was eating way too much gnocchi and didn't get a lot of diversity. The bacon on top did help a little. The dishes were about 25 a piece, but they definitely tasted homemade. We opted for the bruschetta as a starter and I would've skipped that. The tomatoes were super fresh and the bread was good but the olive oil was playing. Don't think it was worth $10. The wine selection was brilliant. Generally pretty affordable for the quality. Some delicious wines there that night. Love love, love the aesthetic. We definitely want to return and try some new things.

We were ok with loosing 15 mins of our lunch break (worse case scenario) but not the whole one. There is no phone number to call. From 11:50 we tried any number we could find online, finally got the Delivery Manager on the phone but learned nothing from her... I have no idea how this rude person still holds her job. I've sent them an email asking for the estimated time of arrival... got a response at 12:18 that there is traffic and manifestations. Exki is about 5 mins away from our office. If I have known they decided to cruise around the whole city I would have gone grab the order myself. The veggie plate was not fresh, it was made 1 or 2 days ago. The sandwiches were ok'ish but definitely not made today. It's just not worth the price and the hustle. Sad.

There was a very slight tint of light green and a few green specks. I watched the barista pour the frappe from the blender into my plastic cup, but the top was too foamy so it was making a mess as she tried to put a lid on it. She gave up and dumped out a bit of the drink, put the lid on, and wiped the side of the cup. There was minimal effort wiping the cup because when she handed it to me, it was still really wet... So little care into my milk frappe and I don't like milk that much ); Besides the fail frappe, the inside is cozy and great for waiting for the train.

We tried the tajine and Mediterranean salad. The tajine was ok. I've had vegetarian tajine in Morocco and it was on the bland side so maybe I shouldn't judge so harshly, but we're not in Morocco where they're doing vegetarian special for me. This is a vegetarian restaurant so I expected a little more creativity. It was mostly carrots. The Mediterranean salad had their balls on it, which we were eager to try. Also kind of tasteless. The spread (hummus) that topped the salad and the exciting looking green sauce - generally tasteless. There was a pickled item in the bowl that was nice. My dining partner had an iced matcha latte with almond milk. She didn't enjoy it much. All in all we were underwhelmed. Giving it an extra star as we appreciate vegetarian restaurants and realize we may be out of the ordinary for flavor expectations.

I had the Tibetan mama bowl with the Beet detox juice and a brownie. I would have all of them again.

We ordered the beef stew, pork knuckle, and rabbit stew. Everything was delicious! And everything came with potatoes! We sat outside and had to put our drinks on the floor (all good!). Staff was very nice. Good thing we came right when they opened. After we were seated a line started forming.

He reminded us of a combination of Neil Fak (from The Bear) and Lazlow (from What We Do in the Shadows). He was coordinating the line, seating, and gave outstanding recommendations, as well as praise, when we picked our wine. We were quoted about 45 minutes to wait, as they don't take reservations. A two-top opened up inside and Julian was concerned that it would be too hot, so he made me go inside to check first. Thankfully, it was right by the open area leading to outside, so we took it and were seated in about 20 minutes, rather than 45. The place was packed the entire time we were there; its reputation certainly precedes it. Good energy and beautifully decorated with stunning art inside. Carbonades a la Biere (beef stew; 19.45 Euros) is their speciality and was delicious! So reasonably priced for the flavor and te size of the dish! After Julian mentioned that the lamb is the best dish on the menu, there was no question that I was ordering it. Jarret d'Agneau Roti (Roasted Lamb Shank; 27.35 Euros) was so very good! Full of Rosemary and so tender! As Julian was running by, I quickly asked him: "Tiramisu or Tarte Tatin?" No hesitation, he replied, "Tarte Tatin." I wasn't sure if he actually put the order in for us or not, but then it arrived at our table and it was delicious! Pear Tarte (8.65 Euros) with a side of ice cream. Not too sweet, with lovely spices in the pears. Cash only, always a line, but totally worth it!
