Was driving down Dean Martin looking for a gun range when I seen this exotic car rental place, so I stopped in to check rates and availability on a Z06 which they had on display in the parking lot. So I left and called a few more rental shops but they either didn't return my call or had disconnected numbers. So I called and made a reservation. Picked up the car and Kevin went over all the features and functions of the controls and answered all my questions. I will be renting here again in the future. read more

I called the Thursday prior to our trip just to obtain information on all aspect of booking this experience. (El Dorado Tour) I spoke with Rosa at this time. She gave me the information that I thought was accurate. After obtaining the information, I let Rosa know that I would call back if interested. (I had to speak with the other three drivers.) After speaking with the other drivers, I was excited to call Rosa back and book the experience. She gave me a total and took my card. At this point she booked our experience. As soon as I was given confirmation email, Rosa then tells me to send her the insurance information (although I understand the reason) the information was not given prior to booking! I had no clue as to the limits policy nor the requirements. I was upset because now I had to call all the other drivers, tell them we had booked, however now we have a new issue.... One of the drivers had to end up getting a whole new policy, due to the fact that they would not refund us and we had already gave the card info and then got blindsided. The day of: Beware if the scam that they hustle about the tire and window insurance! We arrived to the location excited and not upset about the mishap from start. We decided everyone makes mistakes and maybe she didn't understand what I was asking. However when we where told the windshield coverage was not on our policy and the cost was an extra $100 each. We opted in due to the fact the employees scared us about window price, when needing changed. We did tell the employee we would take the insurance. As We walk to the vehicles THEY CHOSE FOR YOU! (We where told we can pick from any vehicle on fleet, however the vehicles we actually wanted where not available) The windshields on all three cars the company chose for us where already damaged. The Lamborghini windshield was cracked half way up, to which caused a hard time when driving as it's right up the driver side. I don't feel I should have had to take the "extra coverage" as the company was having to change the windshields at the cost of the last person (or so that's what the company told us).... The guid was good. He knows the area and understands you came to experience the vehicles. I left my wallet at a location where we stopped, He went above and beyond to make sure I get it back. Sad when the best experience is to lose your wallet. Why did I have my wallet out? Well because the cars where given to the guid on E and we had to stop to get gas (and the cash for the tire and window scam insurance) The gas situation was all in its own annoying. People flock to those cars and that's what happened. We where trying to enjoy a private experience. As we parked to get gas about 10 to 15 people where all over the cars and asking us to sit in the vehicles and touch them. I felt rude to have to say no, however if they damage the vehicles that's on my insurance... If the company was ran a little better with more control the owners possibly could cut out the employee issues of not knowing fully how to explain the experience information, and possibly stop the hustle that is happening. If the owner is ok with these situations, I'd suggest you take your business elsewhere and enjoy the experience instead of feeling like the whole reason you came to Vegas was a joke! Great concept but needs more variety. Bought this for my brother for his bday. He was visiting from NY. Very disappointed because we had only 1 car choice to drive. I bought the muscle car test drive. Called to make a reservation and was told no appt necessary just come in. When we get there there's only one car that's available and the other is "reserved" ( but I thought they don't take reservations). So he got to drive a challenger which he liked but I wish he had more of a choice of muscle cars to choose from. Overall kinda disappointed read more

I surprised my husband with this amazing tour for his birthday and he was so thrilled!! He got to drive dream cars Ferrari Spider, Lamborghini and Mercedes AMG GT8 on the Vegas streets and Lake Mead Recreation area for 2 hours and I was along for the ride. He absolutely loved it and is probably one of the most memorable birthdays he's ever had. Worth every penny just to see the permanent smile on his face the whole 2 hours. The fact that he got to drive all three cars was such a treat. The staff at Exotic Driving Experiences was also so accommodating and answered all our questions. Mathew our instructor made sure that my husband was comfortable before letting drive each car. They also lead you by staying in front of you and talking to you via walkie talkie. We felt comfortable and safe! The thumbs up we were getting from other drivers was also fun. Hubby felt like a rock star and you will to. We also included a helicopter tour later in the evening so he's having a very James Bond birthday. This is a total Vegas experience every car lover needs to do. read more

The actual driving experience was really cool with the 3 different cars. My girlfriend and I had a really nice time. However, there were some negatives with the process and the cars that I will list below: 1. The "park" fee was not described to me very well at all even after I asked for clarification. It's basically a hidden extra fee for entering Lake Mead National Park. This should be included in the package as it's a package deal...an all inclusive deal. The tour always goes to the same place so it's B.S. that they keep that separate and don't tell you about it with any detail. We walked over a mile from the hotel to avoid the "park fee when you arrive"...so much for that. 2. We were not able to access all of the features of all of the cars. For example, we were not allowed to put the top down on the convertible Ferrari and didn't get to see any compartments for the trunk, engine, etc for any of the cars. It would have been a nice addition to the experience to be more intimate with the vehicles. Also, the controls were kind of foreign in some of the cars so you could basically only put it in Drive and then in Park. 3. The cars seemed worn even though they were supposedly newer vehicles. 2 of the 3 we drove had buttons popped out of place in the interior and/or something small that was torn or broken. Not really a big deal except that a CEL kept popping up in one of the cars. read more

I don't recall where I saw the ad for EDE. I even checked Groupon and sure enough there was an EDE deal but it wasn't the driving your I was looking for. I selected the driving tour as it seemed to be best bang for the buck. $500 for roughly 2.5 hrs and you get to drive three exotics. Disclaimer: you're not guaranteed to drive the exotics listed or seen on the website. I was expecting to choose the Ferrari, Lambo and McLaren however it is based on availability. Service: 5/5 -Super friendly and knowledgable. There are two drivers that come out with you. One is the lead while the other is at the rear and 'directs' traffic to ensure the group stays together Exotics: 4.5/5 -We were given the 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider, 2012 Audi R8 V10, 2016 McLaren 570S. Hands down the McLaren was my favorite. Surprisingly I wasn't impressed with the Ferrari at all. I was expecting to drive the Lambo and the newest R8 V10. The best part of the driving tour is the fact you get to drive on local, highway and canyon roads. Overall I had a blast and would highly recommend EDE. I'm even considering renting their exotics for a few hours next time. read more

There were a little hiccups with the planning of the tour that we wanted to do. But the guys at the shop were accomodating and did a nice job to do the best they could for us. Cars were awesome. Dillon was a really good tour guide for our tour and gave us great instructions. Would definitely come back to these guys. Got to drive an MP-4 12C and an R8. Both were convertibles and also drove a Shelby GT350. Awesome cars and would definitely do it again. read more

I purchased a Groupon in January for an upcoming trip to Vegas in April. Everything was smooth until today when I was called by the company to "obtain" my personal insurance information. I advised them that I spoke with someone before and during my reservation about the insurance issue and that I was almost positive my personal car insurance did not cover any exotic vehicles (I was right but that's another story). I was told that I must use my personal car insurance and that I could not buy insurance from them as I was told multiple times by them on the phone, evidently it is now only available to "international" customers..? What a waste of time and glad I found this out before showing up the day of the tour. Per my insurance agent, NO ONE that has a normal car insurance policy will be able to do this as they almost all EXCLUDE exotics in their policies... How this works for these other people or reviewers I don't know, but it's starting to look like a scam to me, Buyer Beware! read more

Went on driving tour on Memorial day and had an amazing experience! The tour for the time we were going was getting rescheduled but it was the only time we could go, so they still took us out on a one on one with our guide Martin Medina and he gave us an unbelievable experience we'll never forgot! I booked the exotic driving tour as a surprise bday gift for my husband. I was really looking forward to this because I knew I had found the PERFECT gift for him. When we pulled up, my husband was so excited. We were told that we could choose any 3 cars that we wanted. Well, we had a while to choose because the staff were on the phone for an hour trying to verify our insurance. I then called our insurance company myself and did what they couldn't do in an hour in a matter of minutes. After the insurance was verified, They then asked which cars we wanted to drive and we were told that we couldn't drive any of 3 that we wanted because all 3 of them needed maintenance work. I wish they would have told us that right when we got there. They had 4 cars left to choose from. One we had already driven before and the other 3 weren't anything we were particularly interested in driving. It would have been fun but not worth the $600 that we spent. Had it only been one of the cars that were needing maintenance it would've been a different story. But all 3?!?! We were both incredibly disappointed. Especially considering we spent an hour there with our excitement and anticipation building up to drive these 3 cars only to be told AFTER that what they meant by "choose any car you want" was "choose any working car you want and you should magically know which ones those are." We then asked for a refund and were told it would be taken care of and we left. I then had to call back 4 days later to again ask for a refund because they didn't give me one.
