The place really is 24/7 I couldn't believe it. Before you continue reading this the name of the flower shop doesn't match the yelp page hower it did match the address. The one advantage this place has is that it's open 24/7. There wasn't much of a selection, but I was able to get something for my spontaneous idea for buying flowers. There wasn't a catalog or other arrangements to see what I wanted. I literally said I can spend 80 bucks and picked a few flowers. The arrangement came out nice. I like the fact that it was actually open late. I would give this place 5 stars, but it did not have much selection or arrangements prepared to choose from. They do a really great job with the bouquet but because they are 24 hour florist sometimes they are out delivering flowers. I would say call in advance to make sure someone is there before showing up. The price was very reasonable compared to others and they do a beautiful job. Not knowing what we want, we had ask the ladies to help us make some suggestions. Choices were limited but we made it work with hydrangeas and roses. The florist was super patient and cool. She helped us assemble the bouquet exactly how we wanted it to look. The added work of glitters and baby breath around the bouquet was perfect. Thank you for being awesome and patient with us! My boyfriend expressed to me around 5:30pm that he has never had flowers delivered to him before and that he thinks it would be sweet and it shows love. He then left to work around 7:00pm thinking it will be a regular day. I then got the idea to order him flowers and get them delivered to his job. "Who delivers a custom order of flowers this late at night?", thats what I started to think about. I went on google and typed in 24 hour flower delivery and this business popped up. I scrolled through reviews and noticed alot of bad reviews stating that this business scams people and doesn't deliver the order but keeps the money. They also have plenty of good reviews as well, so I decided to give it a chance and try them out in spite of all the bad reviews. I gave them a call and described to the owner, a woman, that I was looking to deliver flowers to my boyfriend at work and was looking for something affordable. She then listed many flowers to chose from and I chose sunflowers. She asked my price range and then gave me an option that matched exactly that. She didn't do too much to make it look too extra due to the fact that it was for a man, which I appreciate her for that. I was able to order and pay by phone using my debit card and she sent me a picture of my order via text message before she delivered the flowers to him. She also included a note with the flowers that I was able to personalize and tell her what I wanted it to say, which was pretty cool. I gave her my boyfriends name and location as well as my name and I explained to her that he gets off work at 11:00pm. she was able to get the flowers to him perfectly and right on time. They were delivered by 10:16pm. I rate this place 3 stars because of customer service. Although shes pretty sweet, i felt like she was rushing to get off the phone with me for whatever reason and when I texted her she never replied. Everything was delivered perfectly and right on time though, so that was awesome. Customer service just needs to be a little bit better. I would order from her again in the future and I would also recommend services to a friend. She charges $15 for delivery anywhere in the city and my bouquet only cost $30. So I ordered some flavors for a loved one and had them delivered to a business. It was not as easy as placing an order and then being delivered. I called right before 2pm and a man answered and just said Hello as if it was a normal call. I asked if this was for correct number for the shop and he said "uh sure". He soon handed off the phone to a woman who clarified and we discussed what I wanted and the assured me everything I needed could be done, even said they'd send me a picture after it was arranged... the delivery was scheduled for 4pm. Around 3:15 I had to call back and make sure they were still going to do so and so I could send over what I wanted in the note. 4:30 comes and no delivery or photos of the flowers, so I text and ask for updates or to confirm the flowers were delivered.. about 10 minutes later I then get a photo of the flowers, I reply immediately thanking them and asking when they would be delivered... I get no response so 6pm comes around and STILL nothing. Yet I still give it some time and around 6:45 I start blowing up their phone and they kept sending them to voicemail, I texted the number demanding my order be delivered. Just before 7pm I am noticed that the flowers have been delivered. The ONLY reason I gave it two stars is because I got my order in the first place and it was very beautiful. But I had to wait 3 hours after the scheduled delivery. I was very mad and felt hopeless for a while. Although they were beautiful I would not recommend or order from them again read more

The staff is not professional (it feels like they are lying to get your business). 3. I explicitly requested a delivery by midnight.. it arrived 4am the next day. (I called around 10pm and was told "yeah we can definitely make it before then and we are already on our way. The order is ready to be delivered.")... Yet the guy repeats my order and gets it wrong then says they have to focus on driving.. Being out-of-state I regret giving them my business. The recipient was not happy being surprised LATE after missing the 14th deadline. I placed my order at 10:50pm on a Thursday for a next day delivery to arrive by 10am. It was Friday around 11:30am and I had not heard anything. I called Exotic Florist for an update. They told me that it would have to be pushed back because they did not have the flowers they needed for the arrangement. I found it really odd that they had not reached out to me and informed me on what was going on. I told them that the latest it could be delivered would be 2:30pm, they said okay. I assumed that they were going to get it done before then, but I was wrong. 2:20pm came around and I still had not heard anything from neither the florist nor the person that I sent flowers to. I called them again and they said that they were on their way. The person receiving flowers did not get them until 4pm... It ruined everything, the whole point of ordering the flowers in the first place was for them to surprise the person while they were still at work, not after their shift ended. I ordered the "Small Mixed Arrangement Designers Choice #2" it cost me about $70 in total, pretty expensive for crappy service. Not to mention that the flowers came in a hard plastic case when the description said "in a clear glass vase" not only that, but it was red and looked like it was previously used as it had little scratches on it and was poorly taped as it had tape on the vase itself not sticking to anything. Also, in the directions for the card I put "This is just the start! SIGNED: Love you tons" they wrote the word "signed"I didn't mean for them to write it. I just wanted to indicate that "Love you tons" goes on a separate line by itself. Like as in the signature portion of a letter or email. They promote that they deliver last minute floral arrangements, yet have no means of customer service. I mean I had to call them about three times in order to find out what was going on. I never received confirmation though I asked for them to let me know once the flowers had been delivered. I was beyond upset when I received a text from the person receiving the flowers saying that they got them at 4pm. I understand that I did order the flowers late at night, but they also promote that they are 24/7. They should keep the buyer aware of the status and offer some sort of refund or free service due to the terrible service. They didn't even bother apologizing read more

OK, this one really upsets me. I called this florist on Feb 13th, and my first question was "Am I too late to put in an order for Valentine's Day?", to which they answered, "Not at all, what can we do for you?" I have them a budget range of $200-$250, to create something amazing for my wife, with some loose specifics, but giving them creative control. They took all my info, my credit card number, and asked what time I wanted them delivered. I answered "Late morning/early afternoon", knowing my wife was heading to work at 3pm, and wanting her to get them before she left. At 1pm, I called the store to check on delivery time, but it went straight to voicemail, which was full. By the time my wife was ready to leave, I really felt like a heel, because it was clear that she assumed I'd not bothered to make any Valentine gesture whatsoever, so I explained what I had done, and even though she seemed to understand, it sounded like I was making it up. Over the next few hours, I called the store Appx 10 more times, each time getting the full voicemail. I checked my online banking, and found they had charged my cc $250, which was the high number in my proposed range. Angrier now, I sent them a message through Yelp, and an email through their website, but both were ignored. My wife returned home at 8pm, to me explaining again that the flowers had not come. Even I was starting to not believe me. At 9:12, we were having dinner, so I didn't hear the phone ring. I checked VM at around 9:45, and it was them leaving a nonchalant message telling me that my flowers just left the store, and "should be there within the hour". I waited until midnight, checking the front porch every 15mins in case they dropped them off, but they never came. It is now 12:19am, February 15th, and this florist officially ruined Valentines Day. The sad part isn't that they were overwhelmed, that I would have understood. But when I asked if they could handle the order, they told me it wasn't a problem. If they were honest, I could have made another arrangement. But they took my order and took my money. Then, when they found themselves overwhelmed, they chose to hide, ignoring both phone and email. Finally, leaving me a message after 9pm telling me they were "on their way" was unacceptable enough, but STILL blowing it off after getting my hopes up again, that was truly the icing on the cake. These people should be ashamed of themselves, and steered clear of at all costs. In an ironic side note, (for them, anyway), my wife and I actually own a wedding chapel, and have a constant, year round need for flowers. ***Update: Today is the evening of the 18th, and I've reached out three times so far to ask if they intended to give me my money back, but all requests so far have been ignored. I did get an odd text message that came in at 11pm on the 15th, stating that it was from the florist, asking if "now" was a good time for a call. Unfortunately, I was asleep at the time, and did not get it until the next morning. That was when I responded asking for a refund, and twice since then, but they have once again disappeared. Tomorrow, I am calling a lawyer, since I have had no luck so far without one. It's one thing to bite off more than you can chew, and fail to deliver what the client paid for. But it's another thing altogether to keep the money, and hide from the client. That is at least stealing, and potentially fraud. An absolutely disgusting business practice. I'll update again as this gets deeper, and I am not letting it go. read more

This place is amazing. We had a last minute flower delivery and she worked with us so well and had them delivered on time. We went in at 1:45 and she had them delivered at 4:45. Amazing! Beautiful flowers at a good cost. The arrangement we had was around $100 which was good especially it being last minute. I will be using her again. read more

I was planning our wedding from across the country so I was nervous about many of the details, including the floral. From our initial conversation, Verna Padgett was a joy to work with. Although the bulk of our communication was either via phone or email using various pictures as references, Verna was able to take my ideas and bring them to reality. I was more than pleased with the final product, especially with the cake floral - I couldn't stop looking at it! There were times that I would get responses from her in the wee hours of the morning which is a testament to her strong work ethic. I was planning on sending flowers to my parents for their anniversary. There was great customer service in the initial call and things went downhill from there. I requested a picture of the arrangement before delivery and the picture was NOT what I ordered or paid for. The company took it upon themselves to change arrangement flowers because "there are no roses available due to a parade". I didn't receive a call or notification about this change and was extremely disappointed when I received a picture AFTER they were already delivered. I also request balloons sent with the flowers and they deflated 2 hours after delivery. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Changing or completely substituting flowers without my knowledge is unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

Recently my mother, who had been a long term Nevada resident, passed suddenly. Though her health had been failing her demise was unexpected. They did not deliver the flowers until 10am after the services started. Not only were they late, but they charged my card $60 more than the original price she told me over the phone. I am relatively disappointed. I called a week in advance and placed an order for blue roses today for valentines. They took my name and everything down. I came today to pick up the order at the spot and time that they had told me to come. I got here and there were no roses waiting for me. I asked the kind women about the order and she had no idea. I am a very disappointed customer. I will never order flowers from Exotic Florist again. I ordered Designer choice #5 flowers on Tuesday, May 9th which was in plenty of time for Mother's Day on Sunday, May 14th. I had to call several times to get answers because I was over charged for the order and I wanted to make sure the flowers would deliver in time for Mother's Day.The flowers that were delivered to my mom on Sunday, May 14 at 335p were not even close to the flowers I had picked out online. I had also ordered a balloon which did not arrive with the flowers. When I thought hope was lost - Verna saved the day! I had started preparation for my wedding with another florist, and that fell through almost a month before my wedding. I had a very specific vision for my wedding. "Blue roses." My first phone call to Verna was bascially "blue roses or nothing." It was kismet - Verna just happened to be working on another wedding with blue roses so I could see an example and was able to help me make my vision come to life. That vision also got expanded to include white roses, lilies, and silver gems - she sat with me for 2 hours and we created flowers for my aisle, hanging blue rose balls, a tablescape, and beautiful centerpieces for my wedding. My bouquet was blue roses (another specific vision) and she helped dress it up with ribbon to make it look nice. She even through in tossing bouquet so mine could be preserved after the ceremony. It all turned out amazing. I appreciated her going above and beyond especially after my first florist almost ruined my big day. read more

She even went to my ceremony site a couple of weeks before the wedding in order to map out how she was going to decorate. She went so far as to call me a couple of days before the wedding to let me know certain details such as a particular flower we agreed on not being available and that she was replacing it with another. I surely would not have recognized the difference, but she took the time to call me and that made me feel important. Her final work was even more impressive than I expected. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, in addition the ceremony and reception flowers were also beautiful. Verna takes the time to really get to know you and that shows in the final product.
