I called to confirm the reservation, and Ben, the owner, verified everything and honored the quoted price. I arrived shortly before closing, feeling stressed and overwhelmed, but Ben was incredibly kind and accommodating from the start. I rented the car from Sunday, 4/19 through Saturday, 4/25. Throughout the entire process, Ben was honest, transparent, and genuinely helpful. He truly went above and beyond and was a lifesaver during a difficult week. When I returned the car with my daughter and planned to Uber home, Ben kindly offered to drive us instead. My daughter had recently fractured her foot and was limited in mobility, so his kindness meant even more. He has a very humble, fatherly presence and made a stressful situation much easier. I would highly recommend Stop-N-Go Rent-A-Car to anyone in need of a rental car, and I will be referring others to Ben. Unlike most Nationals, you need to check in with the staff to pick out a car and you don't get to choose within your status. They will tell you what they have available. Most likely this is due to the lack of space... But it's not a big deal bc it's a small and efficient airport (John Wayne SNA airport) so there's really no wait. Cars were very clean and the parking lot is the most organized and efficient I have ever seen in a parking lot for rental cars. There are numbered spots for cars so you find the exact car you have. And there are pedestrian walkway strips colored yellow to keep people safe and to let drivers know where they shouldn't drive.

That being said it is only going to be four stars only because I did have a recurring issue with the company having a hold on money in my account; and struggling to get it reversed in a timely matter. I was surprised when I arrived to pick up the rental that because I made the reservation within 24 hours I had to have a credit card to put down, when I only had a debit card. I also ran into a little trouble with the toll roads, hopefully someone else can learn from my mistake. I took my transponder and drove the rental car for multiple days, I didn't see it on my account, so I called The Toll Roads, hoping to make a payment and find out why the transponder wasn't working. Because the car was registered to Hertz it read the license plate and instantly charged them, despite me having a sticker transponder on the dashboard, I believe I had $40 in convenience fees over the matter. Which wasn't very convenient. That being said, a lesson was learned, and hopefully, I prevent somebody else from making the same mistake. I will add a vehicle before taking the Toll Road and I will definitely be back for Mark and Wally for my next rental needs.

No complaints about the team at all. However, the condition of the fleet left a lot to be desired. There was almost no selection available, and I was given a Hyundai Elantra with over 35k miles on it. To make matters worse, the car itself was quite dirty on the inside when I picked it up. While I appreciate the fast and helpful service from the employees, Enterprise really needs to do a better job with vehicle maintenance and thorough cleaning between rentals.

The full payment was due at the counter which was awesome meaning that I could cancel up to the day of. Upon getting to the counter, the whole process did not take more than 10 mins!
