I'm a little shocked by some of the reviews. I've been renting from this location for the last five to six years and have always had a great experience, at least from a customer service standpoint. Sure they always seem busy and things that happen which may be out of their control, but the customer service have always made up for it at the end of the day. On my most recent rental, Nick was awesome despite some hiccups with the cars. Not really a big deal at the end of the day but he went above and beyond, in my opinion, to make it right and it's because of this type of service that I keep coming back. I wanted to make a reservation for my mother but they needed the physical CC upon picking up car which inconvenient but perfectly understandable. Great customer service, but vehicle condition was disappointing. The staff at this location were actually great--the customer service was solid, and the check-in and check-out process was relatively quick and efficient. No complaints about the team at all. However, the condition of the fleet left a lot to be desired. There was almost no selection available, and I was given a Hyundai Elantra with over 35k miles on it. To make matters worse, the car itself was quite dirty on the inside when I picked it up. While I appreciate the fast and helpful service from the employees, Enterprise really needs to do a better job with vehicle maintenance and thorough cleaning between rentals. read more

I am renting a car for 3 weeks and the engine light came on, so I went to swap it for another car. They gave me a car with broken tail light on driver's side and also damaged front fender. I saw the front fender damage which they noted, but not the tail light damage (noticed that later). I had to go back and swap for another car (Gave me a truck instead of sedan). They should not had the car with a broken taillight and fender damage available for rent. Hope they do not rent to someone else. read more

Came in here for a rental (obviously right) lol. But the customer service from Collin was GREAT! He was polite and worked efficiently. I was rubbed a little the wrong way by Christian initially because I explained to him the shuttle driver ran over the curb and nearly gave us whiplash. He pretty much looked at me with a straight face and said " oh yea everybody hits that curb!" ?????? Like sir we are customers lol. So it was extremely awkward because he was dead serious. But moving along... we get into the rental and the car has CAT HAIR. Not to mention the exterior was just as filthy. Now I'm an animal lover like the next person but that was not ok. But they washed and vacuumed it and sent us on our way. But it wasn't before he called the driver "auntie" a few times... now I'm not sure if he calls EVERY middle aged woman auntie or just her.. but it was a little weird for me.. not her just me. This Enterprise RAC location opens earlier and closes later than other locations nearby and it opens on Saturday too, which is why it is the one I rent from most often. Most renters may not know, this location also rents exotic/luxury cars. Today they have a Marsarati parked right in front of the building. Perhaps it is just me, but today they have 3 cars for me to select from, all 3 have out-of-state places. Very odd. read more

A Chevrolet dealer nearby rented a car for me, and when I returned it, one of their employees charged my card for the extra two days I had the car without my permission or any communication with the dealership. I had to call them several times, wasting hours, and even the Chevy dealership called them, but they still did not return my money. I spoke to the manager, who said it was an employee error and that he would contact accounting and let me know about the refund, but he never called back. Recently used this Enterprise location in Lake Forest, while my car was serviced at Chevrolet across the street. When I arrived, immediately I was greeted by Parker before I even took 2 steps inside. He was extremely professional and friendly, and made the whole process of getting the vehicle a breeze. When I came back two days later, I received the exact same. kind of service by John as soon as I stepped into the lobby. This place can get a bit on the hectic side as they have a contract with Subaru right across the street. Add in the holidays, New Years and the regular crowd and it's a recipe for disaster. I brought my car in for service and with some recalls that were issued by Subaru had to check a few things out. In addition to a check engine light. Everyone wanted a rental car and I was 9th on the wait list. After spending nearly 5 hours at Subaru, I was able to secure a car to get home. Had a chance to deal with Marcus he did extra extra customer service as usual. I don't understand why this location gets bad reviews. I've had nothing but outstanding customer service from them. They've gone above and beyond even out of their way to get me the vehicle I want at a good price. I guess a good thing to remember is most people that need rental cars Have been in a car accident so that will affect the way they perceive any situation they are currently dealing with, especially if they find out that they don't have rental coverage or their rental coverage does not cover what they think they should be driving. Keep that in mind if you want a good rental car, make sure you pay your insurance for it and if you want it for an extended period of time you gotta pay for that too. I called the branch and luckily Kara picked up the call and walked me through the process and gave me some rental options. After dropping off my car at the dealership and being blew off by Hertz, I ended up at this location for last minute car rental. Not only they had cars...they had multiple cars! At Hetrz I was told that around summer time everyone is out of cars:/, right after they told me they don't have any cars even though I had a reservation:/. Well Enterprise saved my day! Everyone I dealt with was nice, friendly and polite. When I picked it up and when I dropped it off. The only thing...and that's NOT stuff's fault...I asked for the cheapest car, so they got me Nissan Versa.. It's real fun car to drive but as I'm used to mu Sorento, this little 'shopping bag' was an interesting 'look in the past'..LOL As the car is small I felt like I'm sitting on the road, on the freeway I was almost scared of all the trucks around me :D and to top it off as I was getting in I hit my head so hard, in the door frame, that my jaw popped...:D:D:D. But other than that all was great. I plugged in my phone and a nice big display showed me my Apple maps, played my music, car has nice kick at the lights so over all a good little mouse...LOL And dealing with the employees (sorry..I'mm real bad with names) was really pleasant. Great service here. Had to drop my car off at Norm Reeves for body shop work on 3/15 and needed a rental car. I made a reservation the week before on their website and they day before the pick-up, I got a call from them confirming things. They offered to pick me up from the dealership but it was only a 5 minute walk. All the charges were explained upfront and we did a walk through to inspect the rental car. 10 days later, my car was fully repaired and I dropped off the rental on 3/24. Friendly service. They inspected the gas and to make sure there was no damage or anything missing. Explained the charges and offered me a ride to the dealership. It was a sunny day so I told them I would walk. Overall, excellent service from what I would expect when renting cars from either Enterprise or National. read more

I was in an accident and my insurance company Farmers, who I recommend highly, made a reservation for me at this particular Enterprise. I had to leave a debit card number for the $100 deposit plus $70 for a weeks's rent (which is over what my insurance company will pay). I don't have that much in my bank account and they will not accommodate me in any way, so I'm stuck here until I can find an additional $50. I've already been here for almost an hour!!! read more

These folks made the very arduous process of navigating insurance + a rental after someone hit my car running a red light much easier for me. They've been nothing but kind to me, courteous, helpful, and wonderful. This should really be less than a star. This review includes an excerpt from a Corporate Enterprise Customer Service representative which this branch refuses to honor. My wife and I were recommended this Enterprise branch location while our vehicle was getting repaired at a local body shop. Though we explicitly asked not be charged for any additional insurance, we were charged anyway and given the run around. We escalated this to Enterprise Corporate and we still have not been refunded for erroneous charges. -- Corporate Enterprise Customer Care --- "This email has the information that we sent to the Manager of the Area and the Location's Manager to report that AAA insurance was paying for the rental in this case the insurance company was paying $35 per day for the car that you were picking up at the location, however the car that you had per day it costs $30.65 and the location charged you $0.63 dollar per day for the vehicle also the location charged you for the DW insurance (Damage Waiver Insurance) without your notification. We needed it to escalate that information with a Manager because Lake Forest El Toro Location charged for those services. A manager is going to Follow up and Contact you via email as we send in the request. Here is your receipt to check the charges and attached the case number for the request to have a follow up for a Manager from Enterprise. Case# ( can provide upon request ) The Case Number has all the information that I told you and proof about the insurance was paying for the rental in order that the location can remove the charges. Any other questions and/or queries about the rental or follow p on it you can call Customer Service or Call the branch for assistance CS 1-800-264-6350. Lake Forest Local Phone# 1-949-855-2966 and ask for the manager of that location." --------------- As of today, this branch has ignored their own corporate customer service branch. My wife got in contact with the branch and she was told that this is not something they will refund, regardless of what corporate says. We have also informed AAA and they are investigating the issue as well since they were covering the rental cost. If you do business with this Enterprise branch, ensure you check your billing statement. If you are erroneously charged, you will not be refunded. We will gladly remove this post once this matter is resolved, but in the meantime... beware to lose almost half a grand unexpectedly without recourse when using their services. read more

I have had nothing but great experiences at Enterprise. I even had my insurance go through them a month ago and had another smooth transaction. But my last experience a couple weeks ago was just horrible. I'm not sure if it's just this location or the quality is going down overall, but it was just disappointing. I made a reservation and called at 9:00am to request a pickup from a dealership 3 mi away. I was told someone would be here right away. I checked ETA at 9:30 and was told someone just left 5min ago for me. I call again at 9:50 and they said they accidentally picked someone else up. Finally at 10:15 I gave up and called for an Uber to get to Enterprise. When I arrived, there wasn't an apology but rather excuses of how so many people had called from the dealership. Yes, 3 of those were from me alone. I even called to let them know I gave up and got an Uber and they didn't even have anyone coming anyways. All you needed to do was tell me you're busy or made a mistake! Don't make excuses AND keep giving me the run around. I would have been fine taking an Uber at 9 but once you waste almost an hour of my time, it's infuriating. And if I didn't order it, would they have just left me there!? To add even more insult to injury, they offered for a regional manager to reach out and that never happened. I even followed up TWICE because they quoted me a different rate for fuel than what I ended up getting charged upon return. This location is a joke and I will no longer use Enterprise. I got my mom an Avis car last week and we loved their service. Price wasn't even different from my Enterprise rewards cost. read more

What are the worst experiences I've ever had at enterprise rental vehicle, first off, vehicle was filthy second office smell like marijuana third there's a Dent and ding on every corner of the vehicle. And was obviously in a front end collision. The interior was water damaged. Special thanks to Heather for make sure the vehicle was not ready to go. The staff there pretty much thinks this is normal and acceptable to lease out a premium vehicle that smells like marijuana and filthy. I requested staff to look for another vehicle last week, they blew me off. 1 week into this I went to the airport to trade the car in they provided an older mustangs with a check engine light on. I traded the mustang for a bmw 4 however they refused to top the vehicle off leaving me at just under 1/4 tank of fuel. To add insult to jury, vehicle was missing it's stock wheels... I am not going to get blamed for missing wheels or damaged to your vehicles. I spoke to a guy by the name josh, he's very Patronizing and will likely fail in a real business situation without a large amount of self improvement. I'm done if this is what enterprise think is acceptable...they have a ruff road ahead in business. Covid is over. Customers don't have to accept poor service or vehicles. My recommendation, do not rent from this location. Very below par vehicles and customer service. Have your service manager call me if they want you have the plate number in the photos.., read more
