My husband and I moved to Chelmsford recently and I'd been worried about finding a good nail place. I sure have found it!!! I will definitely make this my regular stop for pampering! I got a gel mani and a pedi and both were great! My toes were in rough shape after this winter but they're rejuvenized and gorgeous! As are my fingers. Van did my mani/pedi and was very friendly and professional. I came during the day on school vacation week and there were 3 other ladies in there with me. She said they get busy during the weekends, so I'll make sure to call in an appointment. So glad to have found this place!!! I love my nails!!! I was so excited to hear about the dip powder nails that is supposedly better and lasts longer than a gel mani. It's amazing I will never go back to gel mani. The dip is so much quicker and it's cleaner. This was my first time at Exotic nails, everyone there is super friendly and so sweet. The salon is super clean. I'm a business owner and I can't believe the way I was treated today. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed here for about 10 years. They have changed owners many times. I asked if I could get an eyebrow wax on tuesday at 11am and no one was busy and she asked can I help you without turning around to acknowledge me. The woman who usually does my eyebrows is sitting next to her and says we can't until 4pm. This is the 3rd time I have stopped to ask and the responses get more more rude. If you don't want to do waxing fine stop doing it but don't speak to clients that way. I will never go there again. read more

Still a decent pedicure but today two issues--I asked for hot water during my pedicure and the woman did not get it hot enough. I asked multiple times... Then at checkout, they did not honor a promotion because I did not mention it when I made my appointment. It was for $5 off and it was more the principle of the matter. I loved loved loved this place but they've changed owners a few times. I went in for a mani pedi and had two different people service me. It was nice but the over all experience left me feeling unsure if I'll ever go back. Let's start with the positive: New owners spoke English. The girl who did my pedi was amazing, so professional and her massage was great! She had a nice calm presence. I'd go back based on her alone, she was actually the previous owner but she had a baby and rerouted her priorities. Now the negatives: First there was no background music, I'm not sure why that's important to me but it is. That's easily corrected, just play the radio or something.. Okay the girl that did my mani.. ugh. She was skillful but negligent. She didn't seem happy to be there and it reflected the results. My gel paint job lasted a pathetic 3 days! And the worst part is I actually went back on the 3rd day when my paint peeled completely off on one finger and I showed her the other finger was starting to peel. She repainted the finger with no paint and PAINTED OVER THE ONE STARTING TO PEEL. The correct thing to do would of been to remove the whole thing and start over. But because she painted over the already peeling finger, it only lasted a whole hour or so before it fully peeled. Therefore, don't think I'll ever going back. I gave them 3 stars because I enjoyed my pedi, it was great. I wish her the best of luck but they've lost me as a customer. I used to recommend this place to my friends but nope. This nail salon was a 35/40min commute for me but I went to try it because my supervisor highly recommended it because I wanted to try dipping powder on my nails for the first time. Let's just say the owner was amazing as well as everyone else ! The customer service was great and I loved the fact that everyone was conversing with one another. I loved how the dipping powder looks and it was DEFINITELY worth the drive. I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know and I'll definitely be coming back ! read more

Just ok. Prices went up, service went down. I've always come here for a quick service because their prices were very reasonable and the service was good but my most recent visit was not this. The girl I had took her time painting but rushed through the massage which (if your like me) you look forward to that part most. Disappointed. I wanted matching colors and she assured me that they had a gel to match my toes but as you can see from my Photo they don't match. Disappointed. I have really sensitive skin so when I asked her to use the lotion I brought (which has never been an issue) she looked at me like she didn't understand. Disappointed. When I asked her what I owed I had a price in mind from all of my other visits so when she said the price I almost asked if the gratuity was included! Still tipped $10. Disappointed. So as You can tell. It wasn't the worst I've had, I wasn't cut, the place was clean enough, and I was taken on time. But it was just okay. read more

BUYER BEWARE. Not the cleanest. They seem clean, used liners in pedi bowls... I had high hopes for this salon, I really did...! I had Lan? Van? She probably spoke 3 words to me the whole gel mani/pedi. She used old used-up files/buffers, etc for my gel mani...nothing was sanitized or pre-packaged. I tried not to think much about it since I was happy with how they came out/looked in the end. However, a week later I noticed warts forming on my pointer finger...... GROSS. They are under new management and the new owner is amazing. Several of the Techs speak fluent English and are extremely pleasant. I really enjoy talking with them. The place is always quite and that is my favorite part. We all know when you go to nail salons they have their family there as well as 6 workers all talking to each other...that is not the case here. What really made me stay here is the cleanliness. They put a plastic lining in the pedicure tub for each new client and use everything fresh out of a package. I'm originally from ME and NH and had a hard time finding a nail salon I enjoyed living in Lowell. This is place relaxing and the workers are a joy, I am happy spending my money here. read more

I am very happy with the detailed care the young man gave to my pedicure and manicure. The place is very clean and tools and awareness of sanitary musts seem to be integrated. The environment is tasteful and the background music was highly relaxing. I enjoyed the massage chair as well. The person that worked on me spoke minimal English but gave it a good try and understood everything I needed. I am not from chelmsford but will be back. read more

My first time here and I loved it! She was booked for the day and only had time for one but she squeezed in my friend because we were already there. Our nails came out amazing! And she kept double checking if we like it so far and I liked that. Compared to some places, they just assume that you will like it or they just don't care to even ask. Overall it was good. The pedicure was definitely lacking however. Barely soaked my feet sjek she scrubbed them so now they have an uncomfortable dry texture. Also it was way too expensive. I got a dip manicure with some jewels and the least expensive pedicure and it came to $79. For $79, it should've been a very luxurious manicure and pedicure. For the price and quality I'll probably try something new. My nails came out really good though!!! That's what counts, right? read more

I would not recommend going here in a busy day. They rushed through both my manicure and pedicure because there was people waiting. It was very clean and sanitary but I paid a lot of money for a rushed service. My manicure took all of 10 minutes. There was nail polish on three of my fingers and she didn't even paint the whole nail of at least 6 nails. She was rushing so much I basically paid for her to paint my nails, she barely even filed them let alone cleaned up the cuticles or even shaped the nails. And after having a horrible manicure with gelish polish, it chipped the next day. I am not one to complain but I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone who actually needs a good manicure. read more
