That changed with the recent move to a large open noisy space, with little privacy. It's geared now to group activities, and having multiple patients going at once, limiting individualized discussiob. Downtown parking is tough. When I pointed out several safety issues in the new space (my field), Mary abruptly discontinued treatment and has left me without any continuity in treatment as I can't find anyone yet who takes my insurance. Multiple doctors visits concluded that I had an ovarian cyst that could not be operated on. The "best" advice I received was to enter medical menopause -- which would just be swapping out symptoms and pain. In desperation, I decided to try Mary, although I was a bit skeptical of acupuncture. In a matter of four sessions, my pain went from 8-10 during menstruation, to 2-3. I haven't had the pain return either! I continue to follow up with her, because she is fantastic. She is calming and patient with you, and the whole experience feels like an indulgent massage. She is the best -- get an appointment NOW! :)

I realized that she had been listening so closely during the initial conversation that even comments that I thought had nothing to do with the service were picked up on and weaved into the experience. She was extremely patient and unhurried and I could tell that her entire focus was on making sure I received exactly what I needed beyond what I knew I needed myself - That must be the intuitive part and Ashira is definitely gifted there. As much as I kept reminding myself to stay in the moment and completely absorb what was happening, even in the beginning I could feel the pull of thinking about my next appointment.

I was with my son when someone overheard my conversation, and referred me to a local healer. I arrived in physical discomfort, as well as with low energy and not a good mindset. Ashira's office was attractive, warm and comfortable. We talked for a short time and then I'm not sure how to describe what happened next--we did some breathing, body work and she guided me along the way--but, when we were done, I felt like something was different. I was more like myself and at home in my mind and body then I've ever experienced in my life. I went with physical symptoms related to a medical condition i have, but what I ended up receiving was much more. Freedom from the symptoms of a chronic medical condition from which I've had discomfort for years and a sense of peace that I'm still experiencing more than a month later. I even extended our trip an extra day so that we could work more with her. Ashira taught my son some special movements and meditation, and since he began practicing, his school grades and behavior have had noticeable improvement! He's also calmer and more loving since that trip. I plan to make another trip for us to go back to Mind Body Fusion and work with Ashira. We are also making arrangements to go on her retreat. It was all pretty special experience.

She takes the time to listen to your concerns and treats what ails you. She goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Today was my first day visiting. I've had acupuncture several times before so I knew what to expect, but she exceeded it. I arrived early and she was able to start working on me within a few minutes after my arrival. I sat in the waiting area for a few minutes and chatted with another patient who raved about Melinda. Now I know why. After being taken back into the waiting area, she asked me some questions about what brought me to acupuncture. Then I laid on the table, and she got to work. She chatted with me about my job and other things as she gently placed the needles on various parts of my body. Then she put a space blanket on me and put on soothing nature sounds and left me to relax for about 20-30 minutes. I instantly felt relaxed and started to feel my headache dissipate. When she returned to take out the needles, she spent time doing cupping on my knee. I had never had that done before, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I scheduled my biweekly appointment afterwards and was on my way. If you are considering acupuncture, you should go for it. It's not painful at all and the benefits outweigh the little pricks that you feel. I highly recommend Melinda at Inner Strength Acupuncture and Wellness.

I like a deep massage - like really deep the next day you feel a little sore but amazing - and not many massage therapists can meet my needs. My friend recommend Nicole and I was cautiously optimistic. I have had a couple massages with Nicole and I can confidently say I found my supplemental massage therapist. She uses a lot of pressure and different techniques like stretching that really helped open things up and relax the muscles. Nicole has a great appreciation of body mechanics and anatomy which in turn I appreciate. Her office is no frills. It's a shared waiting room with a rehab type place. She has a little room with her table and water and tranquil music but it is effective and gets the job done. Nicole is a nice lady as well who will chat you up or let you relax and just listen to the tranquil music depending on your mood.
