TL;DR: My wife and I have been taking our cars to Weeks for approximately four years, but we'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on due to integrity issues. In June, my wife took her car in for brake issues, and it turned out all 4 brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. When we got the car back, the e-brake indicator light would intermittently flash. We took it back in and were told there were no issues - presumably because the indicator light wasn't flashing when they looked at it. The e-brake indicator light continued to intermittently flash but, having been told everything was fine, we felt safe to continue driving it. Fast forward to the last week of July, we drove the car down to Cincinnati and had the need to use the e-brake. Upon doing so, it locked and wouldn't disengage when we tried to release it. Cue a call to AAA and a tow to a Mazda dealer down there, who charged us $1300 to replace the left and right rear brake calipers and pistons due to caliper damage at the piston work gears. The tech also mentioned it was likely due to the damage that the car hadn't been put into maintenance mode before replacing the brakes. A quick Google search tells me, a layman, that these exact issues occur when the car is not put into maintenance mode before work on the brakes is performed - including both the e-brake engagement issue and the piston work gear damage on the calipers. We called Tim to explain the situation and he refused to hear it: there's no WAY his team could have caused the issue - "would you go back to your doctor and complain if you had previously had a cold, gotten better, and then gotten sick again?" and that's a direct quote. While it's nowhere close to the same thing, I can appreciate that Tim doesn't want to even flirt with the idea of being on the hook for our expenditure - but it's an unfortunate mark against the integrity of this shop that he won't even consider that he or someone from his team might've made an error. We have previously received stellar service from Weeks, and it's unfortunate, but we'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on. read more

Trust him so much, we took his recommendation to do a full engine replacement during COVID when we were stuck & vehicle to purchase were incredibly hard to source. My car was having issues with its engine. The Engine light was on and then there was a noise and some other lights. Weeks sent me back to the dealer with some verification of what was going on and I got a new engine for free. They could have easily charged me and an arm and a leg. I appreciate their ethics! My Chrysler Town&Country has engine oil leak. I was recommended by Adam at the Car parts store. Called in to make an appointment. I was noticed that it's oil housing leak shortly after I left the car there. The early next morning, the car is ready for pick up. Everything went smoothly. Great Job! After moving to the west side of Cleveland from the east side, I have found that I miss a couple things; easy museum access, Lakeview cemetery, our choice pizza, various grocers, and Weeks Automative. There is not a mechanic who I would trust more than Weeks Automotive. I love how he is upfront with cost and time. I am finding myself driving from Parma Heights to see him when I have problems with my car. I have 3 cars and all have been in for a visit with Tim over the past few years. Compliments that easily come to mind are honest, integritous, professional & neighborly. I'll explain the last... I brought in one of the cars once where the muffler shield was partially detached and made a loud banging noise whenever it's driven. It took Tim 5 minutes to fix with a strap. He gave me the keys and said "have a nice day!" Now I'm not saying he'll do this for everyone, but perhaps it's a status you can reach with someone when they know you've put your trust in them and will be back to continue supporting their business. Being a student and coming from out of down, car troubles are the last thing I want on my plate but Tim did the most he could in accommodating me.
