THIS SHOP WILL RIP YOU OFF!! I was driving to Ohio from Virginia and my car broke down near Euclid…read more I dropped my car off at South Euclid Auto Repair to have the tensioner and serpentine belt replaced. This shop had my car for 3 days and told me they had to remove the alternator and A/C compressor to replace the tensioner, they charged me over $750 to do the job! They blamed the issue on my mechanic in Virginia since I had work done recently. I took the car back to my mechanic in Virginia. I WATCHED MY MECHANIC TAKE THE TENSIONER OFF WITHOUT REMOVING THE ALTERNATOR AND A/C COMPRESSOR, TOOK HIM 10 MINUTES! My mechanic then showed me the tensioner and re-installed it in 20 minutes. South Euclid Auto Repair lied to me and WAAAAY over charged me for labor. My shop in VA said the job should take 30 mins to an hour, which they proved because I watched them do it with my own two eyes. Should have been a $250 or $300 job, South Euclid Auto Repair charged me over $750. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST SHOP!

The mechanic scanned the car and told me it was a malfunctioning oxygen sensor. Then he left to buy the part. Then he disappeared and never showed up again. Didn't reply to my texts anymore. Left me high and dry. So I am back to square one looking for another mechanic who can hopefully finish the job. I am very disappointed and can't recommend KARS.
