Just prior to my husband's passing, he noticed a tire pressure warning light but he was unable to fix it or get to Fuerst for help. Today I drove our car for the first time since my husband died. I drove to Fuerst and with my cane hobbled to the front door to find that it was closed. As I got into my car to leave, Mike came out the front door to ask what kind of help I needed. I was in tears due to circumstances, apologized and explained. Mike offered condolences and even though they were closed, he told me to pull up and he would check my tires. Mike was so gracious, patient and kind. He properly inflated all 4 tires and said if the warning light returns to come back on Monday. As a family owned business, Fuerst Automotive continues to prove how much it values its customers and cares about the community. Mike is a prime example of that excellence. I don't know of many businesses that would've reached out when closed to help someone during a difficult time. I wish I could give Fuerst 10 stars because they deserve it. Here is the end of the road. Take your vehicles no where else. It would be a disservice to them. They do quality work here without bankrupting one. Seriously, when you bring your vehicle here, not only do they do great work, they take the time to explain everything to you. Not the usual "we did this pay us." But the why they did 'x' as well. As long as I am within 300 miles of them (limit to tow for my AAA), my vehicles are coming here for service.

Talked with Josh at drop off about it and was told, well if anything else happens why your car is here we didn't do a diagnostic so it's not looked at. (Sounds fishy) Get in my car after the repairs and now suddenly the power steering pump is whining like it's being deprived of power steering fluid. Now Brady says "well, you didn't want to pay for the diagnosis. So we can't tell you what's wrong." It was NOT having any issues with my power steering BEFORE I took it in and now suddenly overnight the pump went out when it was perfectly fine yesterday and the belt was replaced a month ago. Make it make sense. I feel like they pinched a line or did something to sabotage my power steering to get more money from me. I decided to take my car home anyways but the whole way it was SCREAMING!! I will be getting a second opinion about this!! Let me also be perfectly clear!! There were NO issues with my power steering BEFORE I took my car in. I've had it looked at 2 times in AZ and once here in Cleveland by Toyota only a month ago when they replaced the belt for the power steering. The rack and pinion needed replaced before the boots were torn and you can't just replace the boots.

I was in a tight spot financially and…read moreso I sought recommendations online for a mechanic that was both honest and that did quality work. 3 reviews came up and I felt that Mike's Service Station sounded the best. Once I gave Mike the information on the car, I began walking home knowing it would be at minimum an hour or so to fix the issue which according to initial diagnostics, appeared to be a bad starter motor. I was no more than half way home and my phone rings. My car was ready! How could that be? It turned to be a piece of plastic that should have been removed when the battery was installed .... 3 YEARS AGO! I should never have been able to drive the car with that piece of hard plastic on the positive terminal and I've been to mechanics who would have taken advantage of the situation. Not Mike! Talk about honest! He didn't charge me anything even to look at it. I must have some hard working angels. I offered to pay something for his time but he refused. Received vehicle back with scrapes and scratches all over it, none of which were there before. Brand new car just got it last month. Scratches are so minor it would cost more in legal fees to fix.
