Terrible service. Went to get an oil change and inspection because of knocking noises on driver side. When inspection was done they told me there's nothing wrong with my car. All the knocking we're hearing is the things in your door. How the hell is a little car freshener making the LOUD noise. It's so frustrating because I'm not the only one who has heard the noises. Came in for a simple oil change. I got a Groupon for a good price. However, with taxes and anything over 5 quarts, there is an additional charge in the shop. The service was VERY poor quality. Oil stains were all over my drivers floor. Fumes were nauseating, I had to immediately get it cleaned. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. This is how it all started and still NOT FIXED! Went in January 7,2025 for an oil change and 4 new tires. I left with the vehicle now needing THOUSANDS of dollars to even make is SAFE to be on the road. Coolant was added to the brake reservoir. I had to have it towed multiple times to have other shops to verify the damage and risk. Finally had it towed by a company that was picking it up from the dealership to take it to one of their chain stores. Located in south Euclid off of mayfield. First tow by the way that didn't actually come out of my own pocket. They "flushed the system " not true!!! We picked it up Friday evening and it was right back to them Monday morning first thing. The vehicle ran like crap after they "fixed" their screw up!!! Rpm were going wild etc. they called me back LATE Monday and said the vehicle can be picked up because it was running fine for them. BS!!!!! The vehicle is back at the shop (DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THEIRS!) parked because corporate and the manager Dan (south Euclid) will not doing anything!!!! It is now February 14,2025 and still no vehicle due to them not wanting to fix their screw up!!! I will be report the company to everyone I possibly can. PLEASE READ - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! To preface, I would like to say I've never left a bad review in my life, but my last experience has my jaw on the floor. I'm only writing this to save others before they waste their effort, time and money. Last week I dropped my car off on a Friday, letting them know it has a blinking check engine and a misfire code. Days go by, I never received a call from them. I called on Wednesday, and asked if they had looked at my car. No one seemed to have an answer, so they said they'd call me back in 10 minutes. I never received a call. Gave them about an hour before I called them back and they said they were looking at it now, so I decided to drive by and the car still hadn't moved, which made it clear they were lying. I finally get a call back saying they won't have a diagnosis until tomorrow (which would almost be a full week since I dropped it off). I get a call Thursday morning saying they've diagnosed the issue with a dead battery at that it would be $300 to fix it.... 1. I dropped it off for a blinking check engine and misfire code, which has absolutely nothing to do with a dead battery. 2. I had my battery replaced last year, brand new for about $100 at auto zone. I also have a warranty on that battery, so if I needed that fixed I could have it done for free. $300 is also WILD for a battery replacement cost. So not only would they not be fixing what the actual problem is with the car, they tried to make me pay an outrageous price for something I didn't need and could get for free. That's the definition of a scam. 3. When I told them their diagnosis was off, they we persistent in the fact that they were correct. Immediately, i knew something was wrong and I told them not to continue with my car and that I would be coming to pick it up the next day. When I went to pick up my car, I pulled up and saw that they had left my car with the window down during the middle of a snow storm. Keep in mind, I dropped it off with the windows up, and there is no reason they should've been down to begin with, especially overnight in a city like South Euclid. When I asked why the window was down they couldn't provide me with an answer and said I would have to call their manager. When I asked for the managers number they said they "didn't have any business cards left" so they couldn't get me their number. I asked for the keys and headed out to my car in their parking lot. My fiancé and I ended up having to jump it ourselves during the snowstorm, and as soon as we got it started, the window rolled right up... With that being said, in order to park the car back in their lot, the car would have had to been on. They deliberately left my window down in bad area parked right on a main road. Not only is that insanely unprofessional, but I also had expensive belongings in there as well, such as a $350 yeti cooler which easily could have been stolen. Trying to scam me is one thing, but intentionally leaving my car unlocked with the window down overnight through a snow storm is WILD. My interior is ruined. Finally, I ended up taking my car to a shop down the street, who not only diagnosed the ACTUAL issue relating to the misfire code within minutes, but also recharged my battery for FREE (and the job will be done within a DAY). So in summary; not only was the entire Mr. Tire staff unprofessional in nearly every aspect, but not one staff member held accountability for their actions, simply pointing the finger at one another. Keep in mind, never once did I raise my voice or challenge their authority. I remained calm and professional through the entire experience, and there was no reason any sort of retaliation should have been pursued for me simply declining their incorrect and outrageous diagnosis. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Unless you want to lose a week of your life waiting to hear back from them, be scammed for your money and have the interior of your car destroyed. read more

I had an appointment but others were walking in after me and they were working on their cars; mine? Still sitting outside. They supposedly fixed a leak on one tire but my low tire light is still on. On 6-28-24 I dropped off my car at Mr. Tire for just an oil change. They called me the next day stating the last place that changed your oil stripped your oil drain plug so you need a new oil pan & gasket, I replied you Mr. Tire did my last oil change 3-16-24. The manager Tyler said well I was hired in April but I'll have a district manager contact you. I received a call from the district manager a couple days later saying the best we can do for you is $478 plus the cost for the oil change because it was the previous place before March's oil change with Mr. Tire that stripped the drain plug. I asked well does that mean your tech lied and didn't do an oil change that I paid for in March, she said well that tech no longer works here but okay $478 with a free oil change, to which I agreed although to note manager Tyler did say previously that the tech does still work for them and was working that Saturday. Another couple days went by with no call from Mr. Tire so I called asking about the status of my car. The front desk lady explained there's a leak that they can't figure out, I also stopped by in person to get something from my car the following day and manager Tyler relayed the same plus added that you may need a pipe that doesn't cost much. A couple days later I called to check the status of my car again but this time the front desk lady got manager Tyler on the line explaining your car is now undrivable adding you can hear banging when it runs, so you'll need to get it towed to a Chevy dealer to get it repaired. His final explanation as to why, after keeping my car for two weeks to install a new oil pan and gasket, my car was deemed undrivable since being in their care changed to claiming that it is the timing chain. My car was running fine with no additional issues prior to driving it into Mr. Tire so I asked the manager Tyler how this new issue arose, whereas my car is now undrivable when two weeks ago when I drove it in with no issues at all just for an oil change/oil pan & gasket. His answer was timing and it's been sitting here for awhile. I asked him to escalate this to the district manager because I don't believe I should be liable for additional fees regarding a tow and flow pipe. He said he would but after a couple days of no phone calls from the district manager I called back to manager Tyler asking about it. He said he was told by the district manager that she tried calling me a couple times, I replied she did not I have caller ID to which he replied then she's lying to me then I'm just the middle man in this. After having to pay to have my car towed from Mr. Tire to the closest Chevrolet dealership they ran a diagnostic and discovered the true issues caused by Mr. Tire's negligence damages resulted in needing new engine and turbocharger replacements as well as a catalytic converter totaling $15,042.30. I was forced to purchase a new vehicle and have been attempting to get a refund for seven months now for at the very least just the $6,000 plus the Chevy dealership's finance, sales, and repair departments said I lost due to this incident due to damages caused by Mr. Tire but their insurance company keeps avoiding any responsibility and denying my claims/complaints for a refund for ultimately the reason just because. I believe they are wasting time on purpose to reach the one year statute of limitations. This has been by far the worst auto repair and customer service experience I have ever encountered in my life. I am a veteran, work in law enforcement, and volunteer regularly for two local non-profits so please heed my sincere warning to avoid Mr. Tire South Euclid at all costs and look past all the fake or ill informed 4-5 star reviews. read more

I am a young woman in college -- Do Not Come Here!!! I came to the shop for my check engine light, ABS light, and an oil change. I paid thousands of dollars for poor quality work. I asked that they top of the fluids - they did not. They ordered a part to Autozone down the street for me to go pick up and bring to them to save money, but Autozone said I couldn't buy the part because it was ordered under Mr. Tire. I spent hours going back and forth with Mr. Tire, with Autozone, and taking ubers to and from the shops because the communication and execution was so poor. It is laughable how bad this experience was. Then, they did not install the right wheel speed sensor for my car AND left my front knuckle loose, so my car was making horrible sounds very soon after leaving. Then my alternator failed leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I had to take my car to another Mr. Tire location to have it fixed and they were so shocked by the quality of work I had done here, as well as the work they LEFT OFF THE RECEIPTS so there was no evidence or history, that they had to call the district manager and "open an investigation." I am disappointed in the performance of Mr. Tire South Euclid yesterday. They failed to even *start* working on my car because the manager spent several hours on the phone carping about his employees. I plan on taking my business elsewhere. I scheduled an appointment to change my tires on October 19, 2022 at 10:00 am. The shop changed my oil several weeks ago. The tires I needed were not available that day, but I made the appointment when the new tires came in. The technicians normally take my car inside the shop right away This time, my car sat out in the parking lot for two hours. I know because I could see it from my chair the entire time I waited. The mechanics didn't even touch it despite the fact that I arrived on time for my appointment. For one thing, if there is not enough time to work on my car despite me scheduling an appointment and arriving on time for the appointment, then don't schedule the appointment. Second, I am normally patient with delays at the mechanic. I get it, the mechanics have other cars to work on. Those other cars often have serious issues that require huge investments of time, Plus, the pandemic caused worker shortages. But the cause for the delay yesterday was unprofessional: the manager spent the entire two hours on the phone complaining about his employees. Several of us customers were there in the lobby and we heard everything. For example, the manager felt overworked because his boss broke his foot and now the manager had to take on his boss's responsibilities; the manager was aggravated at one of the employees using foul language; the manager was upset because other employees took the side of the person with the potty mouth; the manager demanded the employee go home, said the employee was suspended, said he took him off the clock, and yet the employee refused to go home; the manager called multiple managers at multiple other stores for advice, etc. He carried on the entire time, pausing only briefly to attend customers who came in the store. It is ok to have bad days at work. But it is wrong to take it out on the customers. There is a time and place to address behavior problems and performance issues with employees. It is the wrong time and place to delay appointments to address those concerns in front of the customers. I do not think foul language is unprofessional. Failing to keep appointments and airing your dirty laundry in front of the customers is. The delay fortunately only inconvenienced me a little. I got a lot of work done while I waited in the lobby. The shop gave me back my keys when I asked for it. But I will take my business to a shop that has the professionalism to avoid holding my car hostage over petty grievances. read more

Mr. Tire in South Euclid is Horrible, and that's being nice about it. We have been customers since 2021. We spent over $1500 on our first visit, When Mike was there. He was very helpful and when we had a warranty issue he fixed it with no problem. My BF even replaced the tires which were discount tires with a warranty, for Mr. Tire. I hated that he did that but he like Mr. Tire that much when Mike was Manager. Now that place has gone down hill soooo bad. This winter I asked if they could check my air pressure because the car was saying low, and they said they couldn't check it because their air pump was broken. I asked them 3 different days and the same excuse. Drew was very rude about it as well. My escape was having issues and we thought it might of been the work that was under warranty. He took it in and they checked it and said it needed brakes. They wanted to charge him over $500 for brakes. We were sure we have a lifetime warranty on the brakes but they said no. They said warranty only good for a year. My bf went back and forth with them about the price. The manager then told my BF that if he would go buy the parts they would put it on for $100. He went and bought the parts. Then they said It needed a Caliper. He went and got that part and took it back to them. When it was done he went I. To pay. They asked for cash because they said it would be done under the table instead of going the system. He said his employees could always use extra cash going straight to them. So we paid with cash. Ok now it's 2 weeks later and the escape is doing the same thing. We have no proof of the work. They also kept the caliper and didn't return it to my bf. He could of took it to where he bought the parts and got a core refund. Since we have no proof of the work we can't take it back to get re checked with out paying. What happened to the life time warranty on the brakes? We spent over 1500 dollars for ALL the front end work that had to be done. I dibt think Mr. Tire of the owners will do anything to refund us the money. I just want the people to know how this business is ran before they waste thier time and money. Well I've been going to this location for years but this will be my last visit. I dropped my car off on Thursday at 1:30 had appointment.I went back on Friday because No one had called me. I just need emissions waiver because I can't afford Cadillac converter at this time. It's now Saturday I called at 9 o'clock this morning my car hasn't been touched as of yet. So I've missed admission testing for today I've missed the BMV an it's the holiday weekend and I without a car so,you know I am very heated. My regular mechanic told me he was not doing side jobs any longer so I was concerned (to say the least) as to where to go for some much needed brake work on my Honda Accord. A long time ago a family friend/mechanic told me to keep driving Hondas until they really told you they needed work ... and my Accord was screaming at me. Decided to stay local and went to Mr. Tire and was not disappointed. I had gotten tires there in the past but never had used them for repair work. The store manager Ken Neitzel told me what I needed done ... and the resulting repair has my car running great! Highly recommend them for tires, brakes and front end work. WOW! Completely unprofessional and disrespectful of Customer's time. I made an appointment on 6/4/21 for 6/7/21 at 1pm. I drive from Cleveland to South Euclid, arrive 5 minutes early. I walk in and the mechanic asks me for my name. I tell him I have a 1pm appointment. He tells me that he is really busy and can't get to me today. I asked him if he was kidding and He said no, and repeated that he was really busy. I felt like I was in an episode of Seinfeld; they know how to make the appointment but don't know how to hold the appointment. I had a great experience here! I recently bought a new car and my regular mechanic came to take a look at it. The skid plate was cracked and the oil pan was thought to be possibly leaking. The guys looked at it and the issues were MINOR and there was no need to go through the claims process with my warranty! Amazing customer service. I've used this location twice: once for an oil change and again for new tires. On both occaisions, I waited about 40 minutes longer than they said I would, even though I had an appointment. And both times, they tried to charge far more than what was advertised on the website (+$20 for the oil change, and +$80 for the tires). I even confirmed the price over the phone (making sure that the quote included both parts and labor) before before ordering my tires and making my appointment. Then when they were ringing me up at the register, they tried to change the price on me. They made adjustments when I showed the itemized quote on my phone, but then came back a few minutes later and told me that I needed to do an alignment for $100. I settled for a "discounted" alignment just to get out of there. In the end, they got their money. If you're able to shop around, go elsewhere. read more

I received their ad in the mail for $19.99 oil change + tire rotation. This is a fair review because: 1. They could not perform simple elementary tasks. 2. They did not fill the windshield fluid after asking three times. 3. They did not rotate the tires after asking two times. 4. They did not fill the air in the tire when PSI was already low and refused to do it by making nonsense excuses, i.e. "the PSI will increase at higher temperature" yes, that makes sense but it won't increase that much more. I went in for a tire repair. I was able to set an appointment online and a coupon for my service was provided right along with my booking. They called a few minutes after I scheduled to confirm. I only dealt with a man at the front desk. He was extremely nice and professional. I actually overheard a conversation between a disgruntled customer and him and he was very patient and polite, answered all the customers questions. Got me out of there quickly. This is the second time I have made an appointment 2 weeks out that they haven't kept. Nobody bothers to write it down and the guy behind the counter just scrunches his face and says "uhhhh ok...". Oh sure, they will get my car in...but it will take an hour before they will even look at it. What makes this even more frustrating is the fact that I'm just bringing the car back after I bought new tires and they didn't seat them on the rim correctly so they keep losing air pressure. What's even more frustrating is that I'm blowing a beautiful Saturday morning (also happens to be my birthday) sitting in their waiting room because they dont know how to take an appointment.
