When it comes to price, I do not recommend the GOAT plumbing. On 11/2024 they came out and fixed a leaking pipe in my front yard, I was billed $257 for a 30 min water line repair. Yesterday they came out and she charged me $500 for a 30 min water line repair , same type of repair, just on the other side of the pipe and easier to access than last time. I did question the price, she educated me on higher cost of materials and gas prices. Again they took care of my repair the same day and both plumbers were knowledgeable, I just need to do my homework and find a local plumber who is a bit more reasonable to keep in my phonebook.

Another plumber that our realtor called since we were out of town when the leak was discovered said we needed to call the manufacturer to get a new part or buy a new water conditioner. Hyram said the big box store water softeners are often cheaply made. He recommended a higher quality softener but he also thought he could fix the leak by removing the flex hoses and "hard plumb" the pipes to the softener. By aligning the pipes better the pipes cold move vertically under pressure without breaking the seal. His idea worked wonderfully and we were able to get the system back online and working like new for a fraction of the cost. Again, our plumber Hyram was outstanding. They lived up to their great reviews, from the initial contact phone call all the way to the conclusion of the installation of my new unit. Derek, the estimate technician who arrived at my home on April 23rd, was knowledgeable and addressed my questions and offered options. He was at my home for over two hours! He offered me several options, without pressuring me, simply explaining the benefits of each option. His willingness to explore my request to remove current water outflow pipe that had been on the garage floor for decades, presenting a safety risk, and route it another way outside was taken seriously and creatively. He took me through the plan and I was so pleased. The technicians who arrived the next day to do the install, Gary, James and Kauntes, were excellent workers. Gary was in charge and went over the plan with me in detail. He was able to troubleshoot a few issues and get the job done! All three of them were courteous and, without being asked, applied shoe coverings every time they entered the house. They cleaned up after themselves. Gary kept me apprised of their progress.
