Sad. I really liked this place the first time I came here! But for some reason today it felt like a waste of money. Ordered a drip coffee with oat milk and vanilla. It was served black - no worries. Ordered a veggie quiche and it was cold on the inside - again no worries. Went back up to the counter and waited in line, told the cashier what was wrong and asked if the quiche could be heated and if I could get some milk and vanilla. 20mins later (and yes I'm not exaggerating) the cashier brings out the quiche and says sorry I thought they brought it out to you but they just left it back there. Ok, now I'm upset. So, my coffee was bad (and was still bad the second time. the oat milk looked like water as it was being poured. Perhaps it just needed to be shaken?), the quiche cold, then it was forgotten, and brought out cold again. I understand things happen, but this was not properly handled or remedied. The 2 stars is for the food because I genuinely love the quiche and the other items and absolutely adore that it's gluten free - but wasting money & time is not on my list of things to do. Will come back one more time to see if this was a one off as I know we all have off days. Love the decor too! Hoping my next visit will be a better one! Update: Literally still sitting here at the cafe because I'm working and decided to try the blueberry streusel muffin. Added another star because damn that was delicious. Hats off to the baker! Really want to love this place even more now, haha

Omg, gluten free pastries as far as the eye can see! I got the caprese focaccia and it was so good! They drizzled it with a perfect balsamic glaze. They also have plenty of space to sit and visit with friends or work. This is such a cute place! I will definitely be back!

So far I have found no fault in this coffee shop. Everything is tasty, made quickly, and the service is kind. Shout out to Jazzy and Leo, who always serve up a smile and Leo is trying to start up a poetry workshop and open mic for the community here too, which is awesome. I had the special pretzel bites they served at the poetry night (both flavors) and they were out of this world!! My non-gluten-free friend even said they were best she ever had. I would vote to put them on the permanent menu PLEAAAASE. There is plenty of seating, free wifi, a clean bathroom, and good vibes. I highly recommend visiting. My favorite donut flavors so far are the blueberry and the maple, but all are good!

Another NEW gluten free bakery alert in Colorado!! (side note this state is amazing) Cardnl - Explorado Market has rebranded itself as a 100% gluten free bakery in Fort Collins, CO, offering both gluten free and sugar free items as well as keto and paleo friendly items! They had their grand opening this past Saturday and the family that owns it is so kind and passionate! Prices are also extremely affordable - these items were $1.50 each! Frosted sugar cookie, brownie, chocolate chip cookie, and monster cookie pictured below. They also have a lot more cookie options, Rice Krispie treats, and refrigerated items like bagels, cinnamon rolls, breads, etc. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!! everything I tried was super yummy!

New to me coffee shop & bakery in old town Fort Collins! I stopped in on Labor Day around 12 and it was extremely busy! Waited in line for about 10 mins. I didn't mind, the staff was working hard and were kind. As soon as I ordered the line calmed down. I loved that there wasn't an up charge for alternate milks! Wide selection of homemade pastries, desserts, and quiche. Everything was gluten, soy, and peanut free. I tried a strawberry gf donut. I'm not normal GF but it was still delish! They upgraded the space super well since Bluebird was there. Very cute, aesthetic spot! Plus lovedddd my latte. The espresso used was top notch & delicious. Can't wait to stop back to try a homemade soda or electrolyte drink!

Good ambience, nice lighting, fast service. I used to come here every morning while I was working at Scrumpy's to get coffee. This is one of the best spots in Old Town for coffee. Menu is neat, readable, and easily displayed. Staff are friendly, pricing on menu items is reasonable. I would recommend the coffee cake muffin for newcomers

I absolutely adore this place. No seed oils, made me instantly stop in for a coffee and a dessert. Everything was phenomenal. My new favorite place in town. Great atmosphere, I love the vibe. The barista was friendly and attentive. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars

The cortado comes with a free house soda for some reason, and it's good.

Very nice place for coffee and snacks, with good counter service. Nice location in old town on the plaza. My cortado was poured with care and even came with a little glass of house soda. My wife had a purple colored soda that was out of this world. Amazingly, entire food and drink menu is gluten free.

The ham and broccoli quiche with the balsamic drizzle was excellent. Their electrolyte hydrator was perfect after a day outside.

Btw, I have been to France many times on business, have eaton at some of the best restaurants in Paris, really good, just not to my taste. Ok, we went here last Sunday, I wasn't hungry, but my wife was, so we thought we would use the card. Wife ordered a beef dip, one of her favorite sandwiches, not on my top 10 list. I ordered a charcuterie plater, figured we could take it home, which we did. Anyway, I took a bit of her sandwich, and even though I wasn't hungry, I ate about half of it. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had of any kind. Very simple but delicious. Baguette was amazing, beef appeared to be cured somehow, huge flavor, au jus was great. Today I am going to Timnath to meet a friend for lunch and I am going to make a 30 minute detour to get a sandwich for us for dinner. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Life is too short to eat mediocre food, plus I am a stingy with my calories, like to spend them on delicious food. Thank you La Boutique. Sincerely, Bret and Michelle

I just love the FoCo food scene and wanted to try something new. The barista made a few suggestions. It was before 11am, so that eliminated all the pretzel roll options on the menu. I decided to go with the Roma. She was right! It was refreshing. I loved every bite. Very bread-forward but clearly a high quality bake. My partner got the French Dip and enjoyed it. There's a few small tables as well as barstools along the wall, but most people ordered to-go. Check out the marketplace items, too. So cute!

This fine sunny and warm Sunday morning found us hopping in (again, we came last year) to La Crêperie to fight the crêpe withdrawals--it's been too long. Interior is very "Parisian cafe", period art, TVs showing videos of the pastry chefs doing their thing. She ordered a hot chocolate to start, and a Parisian crêpe (berries, whip cream, raspberry coulis). I ordered a galette (think square envelope-crêpe) from the savory side. I'd had it last visit and had been looking forward to a redux. I ordered the Professeur Steve, capers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach and brie, which arrived with smoked salmon arranged like a rose at opposing corners (keeps it cold). Oh man, this brie-gooing mushroomy sweet-caramelly onion spinach umami explosion goes perfectly taken in a bite with the salmon. Addiction sated; withdrawals saved off until next June's visit. Wife's crêpe was delicious--everything sweet-toothers love. Hot chocolate is real. Like not from a packet but from a chocco chunk and paid labor somewhere nearby. Whipped cream was real, and thick enough that it could have been sliced and served on its own. Absolutely freaking delicious. Love this place. See you in a year!
