The owner Chris really does an amazing job running the gym. He has a fantastic staff of trainers (Emily, Kalvin and Jonathan) that always go above and beyond for their clients. I started training with with Emily this past year to compete in Olympic Lifting. I've loved every minute training with her. She truly is an amazing Coach. She's very attentive, has been spot on with my programming needs since day one, has a great eye for making form corrections, and the list can go on. I made it very clear the goal was to do 2 or 3 pull-ups, 30 to 40 pushups, 60 to 70 sit-ups, etc. Was assured these goals would be exceeded. After 9 costly months of going to this gym 2 to 4 times per week, she couldn't do any of it. To my dismay, she couldn't do a single pull-up. My research has shown an unassisted pull-up after 4 to 6 weeks isn't unreasonable. Zero success after 9 months and didn't get feedback along the way that zero progress was being made. Shame on me for not setting incremental goals for her and assessing achievement every month, but isn't that what a personal trainer does? So over $2k spent, no return and a very expensive lesson learned. If this kind of all around, core strength is the goal, not your place. Not to mention their hours are very restrictive with some kid often covering for the trainer. Incredibly disappointing. Again, I will say that Mike is a really good guy and both my Daughter and I like him. Our problem is the program she was on was completely ineffective.

I have been to lots of gyms and boot camps and I didn't know what to expect from here. This place is like small group personal training. You sign in when you enter and then warm up. Then you move along the stations doing each for 1 minute with time in between to switch and catch a drink. The trainers are there to watch your alignment, help you set a challenging level and encourage you. You are not on your own! At the end of the circuit, you have a cool down and you are done! The trainers help you make it challenging and you don't have to figure out what to do, they've already done it for you! When I was there, I saw people of all ages, shapes and sizes. All were working hard and many had lost several inches through the program. Stop in and check it out!

I've been a CrossFitter for almost a decade and I was shocked about the amount of time the coaches spent on their phones during the workouts. Some of athletes working out there were new to the sport and were doing the lifts wrong. They could really hurt themselves. I would looked over at who ever was coaching and many times they were nose deep in their phone. I know they are young, including the owner, but in a sport that has a high injury rate I was shocked at how much they were missing during class.
