The worst nail salon I have been to I get my nails Done REGULARLY and the way this man was doing my nails was the absolute WORST shittiest job ever I don't even think he had his License to do nails because of the way they were done I know for sure they don't teach you that in nail school. Took a whole 2 hours to do a basic set of nails with out even cutting them down and the filing was terrible my nails are lob sided as hell too . and it was hot as hell in the salon and I'm pregnant. read more

Just avoid this salon. I just moved to the area and thought I'd try out all the salons here to pick my favorite, but this one is on my list to completely avoid. I walked in and was told to just pick a color and grab the gel polish myself. I asked for a full set because my natural nails are pretty screwed up right now and as soon as the woman started, she just kept stating that my nails are broken (like I didn't know!?) First off, she sat down with rubber gloves that she's used on other customers ?? Not sure why. They were all dirty and filled with nail polish. Second off, as soon as she started her hands were severely shaking, and I asked if she was okay and she kept saying "don't worry, I'm good" After she placed three tips on my nails, I looked at my hand and they were all so crooked, they might as well have been on my nails sideways!? And of course she said they weren't crooked. But they were most definitely crooked. I kept saying her shaking so much made me uncomfortable and asked her to take them off so I can go elsewhere. I don't want someone with shaky hands doing my nails.. As soon as I asked if she could take them off, she took them off extremely rough that I actually said OW and got an attitude and then basically shoo-ed me out the door. I walked in and the pedicure bowl water was started and I was told to sit. The lady took 5 eyebrows in front of me while I was waiting to be serviced, all at the same time of getting wrinkle feet and being told hold on one more second twice. I didn't drive I was dropped off while that person went to get a haircut. We were on the phone and he told me he was in the chair this is after he was the third person waited on. Maybe it's the city girl in me, but I left unimpressed.. The owner said she has been her for 12 years and great for her, but this place was not as clean as I am used to or as I prefer.. I had gotten waxed and a shellac mani and a pedi #1 (basically a standard spa chair pedi). I added the paraffin wax to my pedi. The way "Ms. Kathy" (as one of her regulars called her) waxed my eyebrows hurt like hell. And I normally have a high threshold. I wish I could do it myself... =\ She also used the same waxing stick.. Who knows how long she's been using that thing! Totally unsanitary!! My pedi was okay. Her polish collection could use some updating and expansion with better quality nail polishes. She charges so much for old and outdated colors. Majority of them low quality polishes. Her shellac polishes are okay. She could have chosen better colors.. But whatever.. I love shellac and while she was waxing my eyebrows off, I asked about her shellac polishes. She said "oh i have many colors." She had a good amount of colors, but I have been to places with way more than she had. The colors were all okay, but a couple days later, I will say that I really like the color I chose. Oh and the way they dipped my foot in paraffin wax. Uh, uh. They dip your foot in a big like wax warmer type thing. How may feet have been dipped in there?! So disgusting... I won't come back and pay $25 for a pedi here.. Sorry. I might come back for a shellac mani, but I will be sure to try out the other nail salons in the area before I do so. read more

I tried Expose after the rapid price increase at Kim's Nails a man named LoverBoy/Porkchop did my nails and it was a complete disaster. I showed him a picture how I like my nails and designs and he did nothing like what was pictured. The designs were amateurish and 3 nails broke/cracked the very next day. No, I was not doing anything that would cause them to break. I returned and he did fix them and promised that next time it will be better. He Alabama informed me that he's out of practice doing designs because people are not requesting and painted designs anymore....huh what!?!?!?. Nevertheless there will not be a next time. Possibly the worst nail shop experience I've ever had. OMG, I just moved to the Lexington Park area and was looking for an affordable nail shop to maintain Dip on my finger nails. Well, I was already concerned because the owners wife (Kathy) did my nails and her hands were not at all steady. I've had Dip several times, but never experienced this process like she did. I watched her used Wet 'N Wild polish for one of the final coats. hummmm. I was definitely concerned. Then after she finally finished, I literally had polish everywhere around my nails!! She smiled and said I was all done. I said you are going to clean them up, aren't you? She said it comes off very easy, with just water. I washed my hands in the shop, and it was still there! She finally took some acetone and a cotton ball to clean us the Dip around my VERY lumpy nails. :-( They were not smooth at all, but I still gave her a $5 tip, because I felt sorry for her. (So I paid a total of $40) Then to my surprise 2 days later one Dipped nail broke, and 3 others were cracked. I went back to the shop on Monday night around closing to let them know of the situation. The owner was very rude but took my name and scheduled me for an appointment for Tuesday at 7:20. When I arrived, the owner looked at my nails in shock, and asked me who did my nails. I explained the lady in the back eating at the counter. He said ohhhh, and began shaking his head....and said that's my wife. After the Dip was removed, I was moved to "porkchops" table. He advised me of why my nails cracked, and he began to "clean" my nail beds up. (Again NEVER had this problem before!) Then before he starts the Dip process, he tells me its going to be $35 and will I be paying with cash or card. I said excuse me? You may need to talk to the manager because my nails were messed up after 2 days and $40! He said oh I didn't know that, I just work here. Then Kathy who messed up my initially, came over and said what's wrong. and I told her, then her and her husband began going back and forth in their native language. And she comes back and said my husband said only one nail was cracked. So you don't get a full Dip again for one nail. I said it was more than one nail, and the owner removed all the Dip. Needless to say I left with NOTHING on my nails! I am so disappointed with Expose' Nails I will never be back and I hope this review helps others stay the hell away FOREVER!! And a note to the manager, if you had an ounce of customer service, and had just redone my nails, I would have "possibly" given you another shot, but never ever will I darken your raggedy doorway again, in life! read more

This place is HORRIBLE. Go here if you want to be tutored! The lady said she could do the design but later on, she complained it was too compilated! She was also very rude. When I showed her the design she said to me that I was too extra and that she didn't like the design! Now the place was very messy/dirty for my liking. Also, I did see FUNGUS on one of the sinks. Now for the tools. The tools were very disgusting. One of the nail files had nail remains. The tools also did not look sanitized. The lady even had cut me very badly! I said "ow" lots of times. Then the lady said I was too jumpy and should stop talking. My nails didn't even last a day. They started peeling off as soon as I came home. Also, my nail was hurting very bad when I saw I had nail Fungus. Could you believe it? This place overall and be described in one word. Disgusting! My mother-in-law was in town and took me for a birthday pedicure on April 1st. My first nail salon I have visited since moving here in October. I have no complaints! I enjoyed my pedicure, the man who attended to me gave me the best foot massage ever! I will be going back in the future. read more

This is my first and last time here I was waiting forever for a pedicure when it wasn't even crowded the lady was too rough and I got my lip waxed and it was probably one of the most painful I have had because the lady was rushing. I've been coming here for several years and just recently my favorite manicurist left. I've tried to stay loyal to the business but I've been here 3 times since she left and I have been consistently disappointed. They just remodeled and hired some new staff but if you aren't sitting with the two people who've been there the longest you're pretty much guaranteed that your nails are going to look good. There was no processional service or talk between those that work there. The first time the owner rushed the female doing my nails. Her kids were running around and I was not impressed with the outcome. The second and last time the guy cut my toenails so low nearly bled. And he kept taking smoke breaks. He kept saying he can't do certain things like the hot wax or the deluxe package. He had another girl come and she had a nasty attitude because I asked for the French pedi. But I always get all black with white tips. She said it wasn't possible and I can just leave. And I did. I always go to Kim's Nail and her shops were packed. I had an event to go to. David is the best nail tech there. I only trust him to do my nails every single time. It is clean, and it's remodeled from the years prior. David is very much so into detail, and proficiency when doing your nails. I would recommend him time and time again!!! read more

this was THE WORST experience i've ever had getting my nails done and i've been getting them done for years. the acrylic was uneven on my nails. they were bulky and he even applied the acrylic on my finger. he saw that he messed up and knew what he was doing but he proceeded anyway. that's not even the end of it, i told him one of my nails was really crooked and he kept filing away at the part that was crooked. i called back to see if i could get them fixed and the other guy he was an older gentlemen was very rude. i said POLITELY that i didn't like them and if i could get them redone. his response was "you didn't get them done here" whereas i responded "expose nails? yes i did i just left a few minutes ago" he then asked me who messed them up and i told him it was the gentleman closest to the door because i didn't get a name. so i ended up just not going because i wasnt going to be in a place for another 3 hours where i would be disrespected. i ended up having to spend more money to take them off and do them myself. read more

I got there twenty minutes before closing looking to get a no-frills pedi. I was talked into getting a mani as well. Maybe " talked into" isn't the right vernacular. She asked and I'd had a bad week. Wasn't very impressed with their polish selection, but they did a good job overall. Reasonably priced; $30 for a mani/pedi. But I did notice that they re-use the toe separators..gross. I can't speak for the masses, but I would rather pay an extra $.50 and get a fresh pair. read more

This salon is TERRIBLE!!! For one nobody should have to wait 20 minutes to get a fill in, the service is so slow. The nail polish selection is trash ... like fr it's ridiculous. The lady who did my cousins nails was rude and inconsiderate.. We are not Spanish, or Asian or whatever we don't understand your accent so if I ask you to repeat something don't get a attitude. After about 30 minutes of waiting to get a fill in the lady started on my nails. The sign said $13 for a fill and I was charged $23 after she told me $20 before she started... She files the old nail polish off my nails and then claims one of my tips need to be take off and redone there was no lifting no nothing , there was nothing wrong with it but she proceeds to take the nail off and it's the most pain I have ever been in while getting my nails done ! She takes an old nail tip and tries multiple times to lift my old tip and acrylic off my nail, she SPLIT my real nail and blood from my nail was dripping down my finger ... I was in so much pain then she ended up pulling the rest of the tip off of my nail considering how much pain I was already in! At this point I was ready to go because my nail and finger was hurting and she kept putting water and alcohol or whatever on the nail and kept trying to Fan it.. All of that could've been avoided because the nail was not ready to come off and she took it off anyway!!! I wish I could give them no stars but I have to click 1 to write this review.. It takes this lady about 30 minutes just to file off my polish and apply acrylic ... after I get my acrylic I put my nails in front of the fan to dry then she proceeds to file and reshape my nails she is being very ROUGH and pops one of my nails off at this point I just want to leave with whatever I had done.. Worst nail experience by far and it's not even clean, the trash cans were filled up, her gloves already had polish stains on them, the duster used to wipe the mess from the acrylic looked old and nasty, the shop was dusty and could've been so much better and cleaner .. fast forward to when this lady starts painting my nails the polish looks messy on my nails because it looks as if she didn't even smooth the acrylic out with causes the polish to be look nasty and uneven .. I am disappointed with their service and 1 day after getting my nail split there I am still in pain .. it is not as bad but it still hurts.. THEY DID NOT DESERVE $23 I will most likely be getting my nails redone in about a week or less AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS SHOP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, DONT GO HERE ! read more

I wouldn't recommend this nail salon at all. For One it's DIRTY , For two they have roaches ( where they eat in the back, the bathroom and always by pedicure chairs) , For Three They take forever for services to be done & A employee that goes by the name Mimi is really nasty and rude to the customers at all TIMES. The prices isn't accuracy the owner always make her prices up. The only good one there is David he is awesome without him that shop would have been SHUT DOWN. Their pedi are gross because they use the same nail filer , same pumice stone and same buffer. They also keep their nippers, cuticle pushers and nail clippers in a bag in their drawers instead of the sterilize machine. If they do its always off , it has to be kept on ( but it's NOT). The paraffin wax they always reuses the wax over and over ( GROSS) I think state board needs to come down and handle their business ( I WILL BE CALLING MYSELF). The owners has his family members to give these GOOD REVIEWS JUST TO MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD. When in reality this salon is GROSS OUT! If you don't believe nothing I say GO AHEAD AND GIVE THEM A TRY THEN THANK ME LATER!!!! THIS SALON IS DISGUSTING ....they made me put this star in which they don't deserve.... the lady at the front desk checked us in or whatever she did but me and my cousin waited forever just to get our nails done ....AND THE SALON WASNT PACKED ...when i finally sat down to get my nails done the lady's body language was so off to me ....her facial expressions was like " eww get out my face " or that she didn't want to service me ... she began doing my nails and i told her that i wanted a full set ....she then began asking " what shape " but it sounded like she was saying " what set ?" so i kept saying " full set " ....so i guess about two times of saying this back and forth she got a little angry and got loud with me and said " WHAT SHAPE?!" .....i swear if my mom didn't raise me right with how to treat people no matter their attitude with you i would've smacked the life out of her ...i looked at my cousin like who is this lady talking to this i just woosahhhed and said with a nice smile natural shape ........i was just trying to enjoy my day with my cousin and get our nails done we are not even from around here we just wanted our nails done and they were close by ....my cousin had another experience of her own our visit here ( horrible )....throughout her finishing my nails she tried to be nice to me and make conversation which i really didn't want to engage in but i was just like whatever i'm sitting here might as well cause they didn't have any service or wifi so that i could use my phone .....towards the end where she was polishing my nails she began using her tablet ...WHY ARE YOU FIDDLING WITH YOUR TABLET in between polishing each of my nails..it took everything in me not to get up and walk out i tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but omg i almost lost it ....but i paid left and that was that !!
