This has been out "go to" mani-pedi provider since moving here and trying most of the others in the area.

This place is amazing all the technicians are very professional as well customer service oriented. They make sure that you are satisfied with the end product. This shop is located in old part of town, so it might not aesthetically pleasant for certain people who are looking for more of a posh place with poor quality service. This place takes appointments but it's solely on walk in they try to accommodate everyone, at times you will have a long period of waiting but the quality of the service and the time to make your nails either be, dip manicure, gel manicure or plain manicure is well worth the price and time. I drive from old town Alexandria and it's worth the drive for the prices, the quality of service. All the technicians from Adam, Kim and Racheal the rest of the crew are amazing. Did read some reviews on here the wait is long, the area is sketchy etc, but the experience and how they treat their customers that's not even an issue on my part. It's worth the wait, after all patience is a virtue that some people simply don't have. read more

my wife went here twice and both visits were terrible and she was forced to pay 85 for the first visit. The fact that this place caused my wife's finger to become infected. The nail started pulling away from the nail bed theres a name for the infection but thats not all on her pointer finger the tech didn't do the prepping of my natural nail right and water got in between the two and turned her finger nail green. The second time she went the tech cut her nails shorter than what she wanted and also he gave her a hard time about the design to the point where she walked out and they ended up threat her with calling the police. she has called the BBB to get that place shut down. she deserves her money back from both visits! read more

This salon is mediocre. Customer service is lacking & the lady doing my nails paid more attention talking to the other manicurist & was hurting my cuticles. My sister wanted a regular manicure but the manicurists kept pushing her to do gel. The total price on the receipts said 40 + 30 for both our manicures. I was charged 80. I visited my friend in the town and she took me here with a good recommendation about the nail but what I got was totally different. The customer service was really really bad. They did not allow customers to take appointment anymore so I had to wait around 20 mins. The price was much more higher than other places. The lady who did my nail keep talking with her colleague and not concentrate on her work. The nail was not bad but not good either. Then I had my eyebrows waxed and the nightmare happened. I just wanted them to wax the edge little bit but they almost waxed away my eyebrows. I had to use my front hair to hide the eyebrows and don't know how to go out with this kind of weird looking. read more

No one has really mentioned the salon itself in their reviews and I thought I'd clue you in before making any rash decisions on your new go-to nail salon. If you want fast, cost efficient, and excellent customer service - this is your place. But - if you're looking for the big package, deluxe salon experience that includes fast, cost efficient, great customer service along with the ambience of your surroundings - keep driving and don't stop. The only sounds you'll hear here are the customers as they come in the door and get settled into each their chairs, the hum of the foot baths while waiting for a nail tech to free-up, and the salon workers speaking their native tongues from one side of the room to the other . There are no waterfalls, no elegantly decorated walls, no soft music, no TV (although two are hanging on the walls, but not on). This location looks sketchy going in but once you get inside the door, the uneasiness feeling you had driving up actually goes away. BUT - once indoors and seated, you begin looking around and the lime green and apricot colored walls grab your attention. Looking closer at the worn out and tired looking chair I was asked to sit in, I noticed the massaging controls are broken off it. I'm in from Dallas to visit family and although my nails came out great and I really shouldn't complain, I have to point out the details because I believe every salon should be about ALL the details of each persons salon experience. Personally, while on vacation *if* I should decide to seek out services that are to provide peace and serenity while having my nails done, then sobeit. But Amazing Nails in Lexington Park would certainly NOT be my choice. At the sake of sounding snooty, which I'm am NOT, I prefer "the experience" over the service. I don't get out often and am not a "regular" at any salon even when not traveling. So when I do decide to venture out to any surrounding businesses in the area I'm currently in, I rely on reviews. And this time, I was wrong to rely on yelp reviews as no one has cared to mention the "details" of their experience. Now I will say *if* A.N. had invested some earnings into making their establishment a more serene and relaxing environment for their clients, I'd more than likely be a regular customer. But sadly, today - I only received great looking nails WITHOUT the complimentary drink, refreshment; WITHOUT any soft meditative music and gentle sounds of a waterfall or a TV program to watch while I sat for 60 minutes in their dilapidated chair listening to the salon techs speak Vietnamese to each other from one side of the room to the other. The only ambience here is whatever you can distract yourself with on your mobile device as the nail techs so graciously work away on giving you the nails you long for. Bittersweet really. read more

I was in town visiting my daughter and we went in for a full set of acrylics. Instead we did a Dip Powder Manicure with tips. I own a Nail Salon in Miami, FL and was not expecting an excellent work since is hard to find someone that does a perfect work. But for my surprise this place surprised me 100%. Adam did my nails and was very perfectionist and spoke English very well and teach me some tricks for me to continue my business in Florida. My daughter got an ombré with the same Dip Powder and tip with Judy who happens to be a Dip Powder distributor and also was far above expectations. Very nice people soft voice very professional. I wish I can have them in Florida. Excellent work will recommend 100%. Only another manicurist knowledge can tell you if they do a good job and trust me they do. read more

Worst experience ever for eyebrow threading. If you have thick full brows and like a natural look DO NOT GO HERE. I've gotten my brows threaded for 15years so I know what to expect. I asked for a clean up bc I don't like my brows thin and it was exactly opposite of what I got. She did not bother to ask if I was happy. She barely said anything to me during the time. Was speaking on the phone and with her coworker the whole time. This is what I get for trying somewhere new smh. read more

This is my 5th time now going to this salon. I'm very picky about my nails and for years I haven't been satisfied with any salons in St. Mary's County and have had to travel to Waldorf or farther every two weeks just for my mani/pedi. I got recommended to this salon by a few friends and decided to give it a shot and let me say that I was highly pleased with my visit. I've never tried dipping powder but after over-hearing another customer talk highly of it in the salon I decided to give it a try and I love it. Rachael is my favorite nail tech. She's awesome at what she does and takes her time. I also want to add that when one of my nails had fallen off I got it fixed for free! Love this place it's my new spot. read more

I just did something I've never done before, I walked out of Amazing nail salon without letting the tech finish my nails. The young man's customer service skills need a vast improvement. He attempted to wait on 3 of us at one time and when I questioned whether or not he would be able to work consistently to complete my nails, he got an attitude. Additionally, I felt like he was rushing to complete my nails. The final straw was when he began arguing with me because I wanted my nails shaped a specific way. Most women I know are particular about the shape of their nails, wanting a specific and precise nail shape should not be an unusual request worth arguing with a customer! This was my first and my last time at this establishment! Now, I have to go to another salon to see if they can fix what this person did. read more

I have been living in Lexington Park for almost 2 years and I have been to many nail shops in this area and they are either extremely horrible at their job (lumpy acrylic, thick as hell acrylic, horrible nail shape, etc) or way too expensive. My girlfriend has been getting her nails done here the past few times. In the past it has been satisfactory but lately theyve done just a so so job and their wait times are ridiculous. As I'm typing this were sitting here waiting to get her nails done. We're at a nail station and it's been 40 to 50 minutes with no one acknowledging us after we sat down. This is NOT how you treat customers and expect them to come back. Chances are we'll be going elsewhere in the future. read more

BLUF: Amazing experience. I'm new to the area and needed a new place to get my nails/toes/eyebrows done. Before going to this salon, I read the reviews on here and spoke with a co-worker and got really good reviews. The parking lot is very tiny and says "30 min parking, towing is enforced". I was there for 2hrs and wasn't towed, not sure about those signs. The overall service was wonderful. I got the $28 pedicure service with gel polish removal and new gel polish put back on. She used a drill to remove the polish after soaking it in acetone. The salon I previously went to would manually file the polish off and actually caused me to bleed and have scabs that prevented me from getting my toes done as often due to having to wait for the scabs to heal before getting new ones from the manual file again. I got a regular clear acrylic over my natural nails with 5 tips added to make my nails the same length. I got the nugenesis dipping acrylic which was a new experience and I really enjoyed that. It was very quick and easy. It was a little pricey though. I'm not quite sure how a full-in will work. My only negative was my eyebrows. They are uneven and pretty jacked up to begin with so I'm very apprehensive when going to a new person. Well this time was a bust, one eyebrow has no tip on the end and too much was taken off the front making them look very spaced apart. Everyone was professional and I was a walk-in and they serviced me as soon as I walked in (5:30p). I will definitely go back for my bails and toes. read more

I went to this place once before and had Judy do my dip nails. She was amazing and did an awesome job. Time went by and I decided to get them done again. I went to a place that claimed to be 5 star in Waldorf and sadly after 13 days the dip started to lift. I remembered this place and of course they didn't disappoint. This time Lindsey did my nails and I LOVE them. They look so natural and she was quick but never sloppy. I didn't feel like she rushed and she never cut my cuticle once. It was busy but they managed everyone well. I soaked my dip off while she was finishing with a client. She made them nice and thin, so they will grow out without snagging things. If you have had dip then you know what I mean. I will be going back when the time comes to have them redone. $35.00 is a price nobody has around here. read more

If you do ...they start speaking in their native tongue... who knows what they are saying. Their solution to mu problem (no product in the corners of my nails) ... file off that part of the nail.... Coworkers recommended this place to me, my first thought "oh that place I went tanning at in high school!?". I was intrigued by looking at her nails and this magic she told me out... dipping powder. My goal was to go right after work. I got there around 3:30, sat right down, had to wait a few minutes for Rachel to finish with a client. Got in and out in 45 minutes with gorgeous nails! They can do anything with the dipping powder. This place is a 10/10, don't ignore it for the location, it could be anywhere and this place is still the best. They have a wide varsity of colors, techniques, and ideas for you. It was my first time doing the dipping technique, so Rachel did a basic glittery accent nail on the ring finger with nude color. It's fabulous. Dipping starts at $35, ombré and tips are $45 Will definitely come back! read more

Got one of the best pedicures ever here!!! I was running errands in great mills and popped in this salon. I'm SO glad I did. $25 for a regular pedicure- $28 for "corn and callus treatment" I got this one. All my dead skin was removed VERY well. My feet were massaged a couple of times, and a oil treatment was put on my feet. After letting the oil set- she started the callus treatment. My feet are SO soft and I can't find any hard spots!! It was amazing. Big comfy massage chairs, reasonable prices, friendly staff, will certainly be returning! read more

I used to go here all the time now there service is TRASH and they have increased prices for no reason. And really there is only two technicians that actually now how to do decent nails and acrylics so if you wanted to be satisfied there was always a very long wait to get the person you wanted.
