I had bought said previous car from this same business and it lasted 7yrs, which is why I thought to buy a new car from this same business. When buying this new car it was fine at first, but within that same week the engine light turned on. I then repeatedly visited this business to get this problem fixed to no avail. Then the car had a broken brake sensor, coolant was leaking into the engine of the car. I would later take it to mechanics to see if I could get fixed, but now the car still needs a new engine and fix the leaking coolant. Most mechanic informed me that a likely possibility the codes were erased whenever I went back to where I bought it from to get fixed. contacted the old owners of this business to see if anything could be done, but no response. The car now sits in my drive as I cannot afford such part at this time. Now I am wondering, is this the luck of the draw? I was looking for a car & seen a good deal obviously found out it was to good to be true when I gave them my information & started to inquire about the car. They had a 2019 Dodge charger R/T with a sales price of $13,000. So when I asked if it was available I received a text message that the price was $18,000. I then called because of the obvious confusion and I also live two hours away from the dealership. I wish I could give you the audio to this call. I asked about the car & the polite girl on the other side of the phone just says yes that's the price. I then told her about the text I got & the fact that I'm driving 2 hours to look at this car so I wanted to double check before I leave. She then says well that's the down payment not the actual price. They informed me that the $13,000 is a down payment and the actual price is around $32,000! It's actually wild to me that these types of dealerships get away with what they do & I'm currently looking into reporting them because I don't care what loophole they're using, simply lying is unacceptable in business!

I have to post about our car buying experience at Buckeye Motor Sales. We were in a really bad…read moresituation and had just been hit by an 18 wheeler -- our almost paid off car totaled in a matter of a few days. I looked on Car Gurus and found a car that really impressed me and I inquired. The next day I called and talked to Steve and was immediately struck by how in depth he was about the car. He listened to my situation and let me tell him what we needed. We discussed the car and had several conversations that day and it was no time at all and we were approved by various lenders and we were arranging to drive to Delaware to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately I became really sick and couldn't make the trip for a few days and Steve was more concerned about my health than the sale. Which is not surprising since he is not a typical salesman. We came today, finalized the deal, signed, sealed, and after a few hours home with our new 2014 Chevy Cruze and it is JUST what we were looking for. 100,000 miles less than our totaled car, great payment and 1st payment not due for a month. Beautiful car, clean, great gas mileage, and so happy to say this Made in America and Made in Ohio car is Ours. Thank you Steve -- you have been a wonderful help to us. Thank you Sharon for your help and providing us excellent service. You are a great team and we highly recommend Buckeye Motor Sales and Steve and Sharon to anyone needing a new ride.

He didn't want to negotiate even though we asked. We also asked for a better price and again he didn't say anything. He then proceeded to tell us "This is the price, we cannot give a you discount and if you pay cash or finance you can go elsewhere." With a disgusting attitude. I thought I was talking to a teenager. We were planning to talk business with them with about a bigger truck and a commercial truck. He did not seem the least bit interested in us and what we needed. We left to Germain Nissan and the customer service was on point as soon was we got out the car. The girl from there named Dounia Rouijel, gave us the best treatment. She was told that it would be $100 up front for them to run the diagnostic. Then, later, we were told that you didn't need the money up front. If I could give zero stars, I would. I called three times and the first time I was transferred everywhere and ended up in someone's voicemail. The second time someone hung up on me. Then, the lady said we'll need an appointment. So i set one. We decided to come over and see if she had accidentally tripped the immobilizer. The appointment lady told me they were open until 6. When we got here, they told her that they had lost her key fob. They also told her that they closed at 2 and that "they shouldn't have told you six". Then, I went in and tried to talk to a guy named Rick. Rick was appallingly rude. He was an old guy with a face wrinkled up like a raisin, and a personality even uglier. I told him that my friend is homeless. I told him that we just drove from Utica, and that I have stage for cancer. He had ZERO compassion. I tried to explain to him what we wanted to do, and didn't have a nasty tone of voice or anything. He kept accusing me of "getting smart with him". Then my friend tried to explain and he accused her of getting smart. This is when I got mad. I told Rick he shouldn't work with people. He told me neither should I. I said I was a teacher and he said, "I wouldn't want to be one of your students!" At this point I told him to F off, and he threatened to call the police. They then told my friend that they wouldn't want to give her the key fob because all of a sudden they found paperwork that said she owed them money, even though they had done NOTHING TO HER CAR. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, and maybe an attorney.

I like subcompact cars, and this category is basically phasing out across the US; almost every subcompact model was discontinued between 2018-2020. I liked my 2012 hatchback Nissan, but, surprise!, that one's been discontinued, too. After several test drives of different makes/models, I decided to take a look at Nissan's sedan Versa. I came across a 2021 via the internet at Ricart. I called and talked with Leesa, told her what time I'd be in to dealership the next day. I basically know what I want in a car, and this model checked all the boxes: Must have cruise control; bluetooth connectivity; good air flow; and smooth down/up shifting gears in an automatic. I was very happy to see the car ready and waiting when I arrived as planned. Leesa was young and a good personality to work with. She didn't care where I drove on the test drive (which is a huuuugh plus in my book), so I was able to drive the streets and get on the freeway to test the cruise control. I decided this was the one, and that was that. She didn't try and sell me anything else, just shook my hand said congrats, let me get my manager, and smooth sailing. I will admit I've NEVER been a Ricart fan - I think it stems back to the annoying guitar "We're dealin!" Commercials from the dad, so it is what it is. I was really happy that everyone I dealt with, from the warranty man, to the cashier gal, had great attitudes and caught onto my sarcasm right away and punned back. Overall, my dealings with Ricart were hassle free. I've already taken advantage of my lifetime car washes perk. When we were finally scheduled for service, only the repairs we paid for were completed. The items they previously agreed to cover were not addressed, and we were later told they would not be covered at all. Additionally, we were informed multiple times that notes were being added to our file and that someone would follow up, but there is no record of these communications. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing due to the lack of transparency, communication, and accountability.
