Didnt offer to have us test drive, sit in the vehicle or even see the car we were purchasing before having us fill out all the paperwork. I specifically asked during the survey they make you take to have him go over all the features. All he did was sync my phone and hand me they key. I had to ask him to explain a few things because he didnt offer. Then they wanted me to come all the way back to put the "courtesy" mud fenders on but i said i would rather get them on now because the dealership is a drive for us. I get handed off to service only to find out Mark didnt even give us the little service and car wash discount card. So i had to walk back over and find him. I then sat in the service waiting area for over an hour. The finance guy was as expected and tried to relate to my wife and me but was honestly obnoxious and his pandering fell short. This is a big purchase and we felt like we were just a commission.

On Friday, we called back and increased our offer, but were told no. Then this morning, a different salesperson called and said they knew we were interested in the vehicle. We explained our offer again, and were told to come in because they could "probably make it work." We stopped what we were doing, drove back to the dealership, and took the vehicle for another test drive. When it came time to discuss pricing, we were told the exact same thing as before: no change in price. We made another trip based on their suggestion that something could be worked out, but nothing had changed. If there was no flexibility on pricing, they should have told us before asking us to come back. Very disappointing and a waste of our time.

I then told her about the text I got & the fact that I'm driving 2 hours to look at this car so I wanted to double check before I leave. We were in a really bad…read moresituation and had just been hit by an 18 wheeler -- our almost paid off car totaled in a matter of a few days. I looked on Car Gurus and found a car that really impressed me and I inquired. The next day I called and talked to Steve and was immediately struck by how in depth he was about the car. He listened to my situation and let me tell him what we needed. We discussed the car and had several conversations that day and it was no time at all and we were approved by various lenders and we were arranging to drive to Delaware to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately I became really sick and couldn't make the trip for a few days and Steve was more concerned about my health than the sale. Which is not surprising since he is not a typical salesman. We came today, finalized the deal, signed, sealed, and after a few hours home with our new 2014 Chevy Cruze and it is JUST what we were looking for. 100,000 miles less than our totaled car, great payment and 1st payment not due for a month.
