Update: I came here yesterday. They over plucked my eyebrows. I had gotten my lashes do here as well. The lashes on both eyes are 50% gone. Its only been one day. Smh. Anyway I wouldn't recommend this place. Wasted 20 dollars for sure. read more

11 hours agoNEW I would give this place a zero if I could. I live in the neighborhood and thought I would try it since I've passed by several times now. Went in for a full face wax today and the lady who did it left me with several cuts on my face from the service. I got the full face wax done in anticipation of my graduation next week and now I'm hoping my face has the time to heal so that my graduation photos aren't ruined. You're better off going someplace else. It's been over 12 hours now and this is my face. read more

Horrible ! They did my eyebrow and left me with a bald spot and they didn't even care. I also went to do my eyelashes and asked if i can get it for free or half price for the inconvenience of my eyebrows but they refused. This isn't the first time they messed up before either. read more

I arrived there and it wasn't busy I got eyebrow wax and eyebrow tint which came out 18$ eyebrow tint was 11$ and Eyebrow wax was 7$ I loved the results and right now its been almost a week of the process and the tint is still there definitely recommend read more

I go here every time for my eye lashes and eyebrows, and they are amazing. I go to specifically a tech that works here named Mani and she does all her work amazing, gentle, and it always comes out beautifully and the lashes last me atleast two weeks or longer. While usually in the past other places I go to only last a couple of days. I recommend this place specifically Mani to anyone looking for a good eyelash, eyebrow, henna, waxing, facials and other services !!! read more

Had several great visits to this place but was very disappointed with my last experience. My thick brows are very important to me and have a natural shape that I like. I asked the threader to please just clean them up and keep the shape like usual. She did not listen and over-threaded them way too thin. I've worked on my brows for years and now they feel ruined! They look like they did in high school -- not a good thing in this instance. I've been filling them in with pencil and gel and hope they'll grow back soon but I will not be back. read more

Been going here for more than a year and I am a loyal customer. I do their unlimited, three-month eyebrow package and it is worth the $45! I am usually impressed with their service, however some employees are less skilled or may not be as accurate in their techniques. I have thick eyebrows so I know how difficult it can be, yet there should be consistency amongst employees. read more

My friend recommended me to this place and I never left, I've been getting my lashes and eyebrows here for about 1 year and I never complained not 1 bit. I recommended all my friends and they all been loyal customers ever since just like me. They always have this amazing deal for eyebrows and lashes extensions for just 20$ small little bundle package and it's worth it. Definitely a 5 star in my eyes. Ladies who work there are fabulous, The fact that if I had a long time and something happens to my lashes I can always go back and they would fix it with no problem! If I could give 0 stars I will yesterday I paid 20 dollars for my eyelash extensions. The girl had a bad attitude also she said oh look you did a mess meanwhile she aint fix my eyelashes. After all the comments people told me in that one day next day I tried taking them off with coconut oil and they came off taking many of my lashes. The eyelashes were supposed be put seperate these looked like the dollar store lashes with a bunch of glue. Teach them how to put extensions. read more

Highly recommended Initially very nice and clean place, respective people. Do the service amazing. Eyebrows are on flick with the precise shape. Facials have good massages, good products and it's really very relaxing. Eyelashes they do amazing job not so dramatic it's all natural. Waxing is also very cheap and good hand waxing. Take care of the customer really well. Highly recommended for beauty. Beauty is pain but worth the pain. read more

She does great thread and wax work and she's so kind, gentle and patient.... her precision is amazing. This location is always clean, neat and organized. The prices are reasonable. I got an awesome groupon here ($15 for 5 sessions; gosh, I really should've went for the 10…read moresessions one ...) and I have very ambiguous feelings about the upcoming end. It's great to come in, get my eyebrows threaded, and feel like the tip that I pay upon leaving is how much I actually paid. Even so, $3 + $2 leaves me with a measly $5 operation after which I feel like I am much more presentable to the world. After all, I have a really bad habit of not coming to get my eyebrows threaded until they're in a bad shape; they always have to reshape when I come :x It's recommended that you get your eyebrows threaded every 2 weeks so that there isn't as much pain. (I guess the pain comes from the shaping, rather than the trimming). Five minutes of agony and sometimes tears - girls, don't wear non-waterproof mascara or eyeliner if you plan on being seen in public afterwards - but it's totally worth it. The minutes are gone before you know it, and the soothing mini-massage of the brows with the aloe gel help tremendously. Both Manisha and Maggie are very nice, and they can be talkative if you want or silent while you concentrate on bearing out the pain. I tend towards the latter. :x For those who were not able to get the groupon, they do have a $5 threading early morning special from 10-11am! :) Everything else is pretty reasonably priced as well. The only con is that this is kind of out of the way for me, especially now that I go to school in Washington Heights; although I really like this place, I'm not thaaat willing to trek this far. There isn't really much around in this neighborhood, and I don't feel entirely safe walking around when it gets dark. You actually have to ring a bell before you can get buzzed in, which is a reasonable safety precaution, but ... yeah, that makes me feel uneasy. Overall, Eyebrows Threading Spa is very neat, well-kept, comfortable, and relatively painless. The whole experience is smooth, and the clean, tasteful interior is definitely NOT what you'd expect from the surrounding area during the trek to and from the nearby subway stations. Do not be alarmed by the area, either; it's not actually unsafe. I think. :)
