This place is what I'd call a hidden gem! I was craving a Latin breakfast and stumbled upon this spot. We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on Cuban bread, a breakfast arepa, and an order of pao de queijo, plus some coffee, of course. Everything was freshly made and well-prepared, and the flavors were spot on. The staff was friendly, and although the space is small, it's clean and welcoming, with a nice outdoor seating area that's great in any weather. I'll definitely be coming back!

We had two dream sandwiches, a pork sandwich, pancake and eggs, Frappuccino and three sodas. Came up to $81. I was expected a really amazing sandwich. What I got was processed strips of chicken-like product and the same with the steak. My daughter's sandwich did not come with fries. My daughter did enjoy her eggs and pancakes, and the other ate half of her pork sandwich. It comes with mustard on it. I can't really say what could be done to improve this that would not eat into their profit, but this was not good, and especially for $80. The lady at the window was nice. It's a restaurant situated on the Celebration Suites property. We love a good hole in the wall restaurant, usually the food is surprisingly delicious and authentic, but we were ultimately disappointed. Yes, we did eat the food, as evidenced by the pictures because we weren't going to throw money away.

Pleasure of trying their Cuban coffee--and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The coffee was rich, bold, and perfectly balanced with that signature sweetness that makes Cuban coffee so special. Each sip was smooth yet strong, with a beautiful crema on top that showed real attention to detail. What made the experience even better was the staff. The employees were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I walked in. They took the time to explain the menu, made great recommendations, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do. That kind of positive energy really elevates the whole visit. Between the amazing Cuban coffee and the warm, personable service, this spot is definitely one I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you're looking for great coffee and even better hospitality!

I need one of these places near me!! It was such a staple in our trip. My friends and I went there almost every day while we were in the area for a work conference for breakfast or brunch if that says anything. All the food was so tasty and well made. The dream sandwich lived up to its name, but my favorite food item was the arepas. I highly recommend getting the arepas to eat, they are incredible! Especially the chicken avocado arepa. The bread is perfection, crispy, light. The cheese on the sandwich is charred, warm and rich. The avocado is a nice touch too and paired well with the chicken. They also have this special crema sauce you can use if you ask for it to have with your sandwich. The coffee was also very good and I loved the touch of having the iced drinks in mason jars, so cute! I would just recommend getting light ice because the ice melts quick. The workers were incredibly friendly and attentive and the place had a great ambience. Was very welcoming. There's only outdoor seating, so I would keep that in mind if it's too hot, but it's a nice area to sit and relax while eating. So worth it! Couldn't recommend this local business more! I will be back.

We stopped here for breakfast since it had really good reviews and thought it would be inexpensive but that was not the case. We got two breakfast arepas and a steak and cheese arepa with coffees and a guava and cheese pastry. I have never said this in a review before but everything was disappointing. The steak arepa came out with cold cheese in it when it's normally melted with the steak. The steak was chewy and lacked seasoning while the arepa itself was stale so nothing about it was good. The breakfast arepa was bad as well, bacon was chewy and it took forever to come out and we were the only people there. This place looks like a small hole in the wall but with pricing of a nice restaurant. I hate giving bad reviews but my whole group was just extremely dissatisfied with the food. The guava and cheese pastry was old and cost $4, the arepas were $13 each and the cafe con leche were $7. High prices, low quality food. The guy was nice but that's the only good thing we have to say.

DO NOT GO HERE. JUST DONT. SAVE MONEY AND TIME PLEASE Don't go here at least you have to. Bad service, bad food. Spend $68 on breakfast for 2 ppl. "famous mac and Cheese " is $9 and you are getting a bowl of $1 Kraft mac and cheese. Asked for a refund lady said they don't do a refund if the food is out. We didn't even eat it. The turkey sandwich came out with 3 science of bread in it and got full from one piece because of the amount of bread. Don't waste your time and your money here. It wasn't worth driving 20 min because of good Yelp reviews. Ate sandwiches just because we were starving and had 2 hr drive home. $16 for 3 slices of bread and tomato. For you to decide... And btw frappuccino is a blended drink idk why we just got an iced latte and were charged extra for a 12oz drink. The cups were barely full.

The location is within a hotel parking lot and it is small. The inside was closed but it looks like there might be a couple of tables. We sat outside and to use the bathroom you have to go across to the hotel lobby. There are great options on the menu and the taste did not disappoint. I would say that it is a bit pricey, and the menu didn't have prices.

This place is tucked away at the celebration suites but old town; literally a hole in the wall!! A must though if you're near. I had heard about this place before, but decided to stop in today. You order at their window and your food is brought out to one of the 4 tables they have for seating outside. Food is as fresh as can be! Staff is very nice and polite. I ordered the dream sandwich, with steak, and no steak. The everything bagel was toasty yet soft; literally perfect. The steak was cooked well and paired so easily with the rest of the sandwich which had potato sticks, some kind of mustard, tomatoes, and lettuce! I also got perico eggs, which were brought out in a cute little skillet plate (not pictured), but delicious. For a drink, I opted for one of their natural drinks, mango particularly, and it was refreshing as can be! Will definitely have to venture back one day to dry out one of their lovely arepas! Fairly inexpensive also, I ordered 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches, and the eggs for roughly $30, and it was worth it!

I wish I could add more stars to this!! The service was a 1000/10. I was FaceTiming my mom and one of the girl brought me something to prop my phone on . The food lorddddd have mercy!! 10/10!! I had a hazelnut latte iced and it was the perfect portion!! I am going back tomorrow to have breakfast!! It's a small place but soooo worth going!!!

I had the chicken arepa with avocado, found out from the owner that it is gluten free, his wife is the chef, it was verrrry good, the macchiato was excellent, my son had the Cuban and he said it was good as well. The place is very small but has additional seating outside. read more

What a nice little find in the middle of all the touristy places in Orlando. The owner is really warm and welcoming and the Cuban coffee and food is all homemade, fresh and really flavorful. We tried the chicken Avocado Arepa (a must) and an apple empanada with Cuban coffee. If your looking for a good local place to eat.... guess what! You just found it! read more

A great local hide away with authentic Latin cuisine. Everything was good except the price. I paid $12 for a small coffee and a egg and cheese arepa (similar to an egg and cheese croissant). The place is small, and you may not get a place to sit. But the food is good and authentic, as evidenced by the many latinos coming and going through here. read more

Found this place on yelp. I'm in town for a conference and felt like trying out a local place for a late breakfast. Little tough to find at first. It's inside the Celebration Suites motel complex located right across from the registration lobby outside. I had the cachapa and chicken arepa. Also, the guava juice and one of the Cuban coffees (I forget the name). All were excellent. Be ready though, the coffee is strong! I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and service was excellent. Always good dealing directly with the owner/operators. Good people here. I'll be back next time I'm in town for lunch. Nice sized menu with lots of baked good offerings as well. Free wifi with a cute patio. Check it out! read more

My wife and I were looking for a non franchise place to eat, which is hard to find near Disney. We found this place on Yelp and the reviews were good enough to get us to try it. We got the chicken avocado Arepa and the Cachapa and split them. The previous reviews were spot on. The food was delicious. The chicken was moist and tender, the sweet corn of the Cachapa was wonderful. Service was great and the owner, Julio, was very attentive. I highly recommend the extra time to find this gem. Make sure you let them know you found them on Yelp and I look forward to seeing your 5 star ratings. We will be back. read more

The little spot is an oasis in a part of Orlando filled with hotels and strip malls. They were very welcoming to me and let me hang out and do some work while I waited for my partner to finish his conference. I had the chicken and avocado arepa with an espresso. Super yummy! read more

I love this small but amazing delicious coffee/eatery it's next celebration suites in Old Town. Coffee is as fresh as it gets. Everything I have tried has been so good. The owners have always been pleasant and go beyond to make everyone feel welcome They know multiple languages so easy for almost anyone traveling to order. My boyfriend (who is a total foodie), my son, and I recently went to Orlando to go to Disney world. We struggled to find good eats outside of Disney where 99% of restaurants are chains with lots of fried foods. We wanted a nice clean breakfast to start our long days, and this cafe was PERFECT. Don't be fooled by it's location in the parking lot of a motel; it's incredible. The inside is clean and trendy. The staff are INCREDIBLY friendly. And the food was out of this world. We actually went back two more times for breakfast. They have DELICIOUS breakfast sandwiches, the freshest fruit juices, and decadent coffee. I'd recommend everyone who stays in Kissimmee try this place out. You will NOT be disappointed! read more

Located next to the Registration entrance for Celebration Suites near Old Town, this gem serves up an excellent espresso, macchiato and cappuccino as well as a sublime beef empanada. For those not sucked into the Cult of Starbucks and routinely disappointed in the drip coffee found in mainstream restaurants, this cafe provides an excellent safe haven masquerading as a humble hole-in-the-wall. Owned by Julio, he and his staff were always courteous and easy to converse with. Julio's cappuccino is worth the trip alone. We drove out here two more times before our Orlando visit ended, once not realizing they closed from 1-5pm; however, we caught Julio at 2 pm just before he drove away. He delayed his departure in order to reopen and make us three perfect macchiatos. Our friends were highly impressed with the coffee and we greatly appreciated his customer service. Wishing Julio and his staff all the best - we will return if we're back in town! read more

First impression the staff was absolutely friendly and the food was amazing highly recommend the chicken, cheese and avocado Arepas, one of the best Venezuelan Arepas we have had so far! Cozy, quick, and very tasty food. I had the rice & grilled beef platter (which comes with black beans on the side), and then finished the meal with an espresso. Everything was excellent, including the friendliness of the owner. Perfect place for people looking for a great home-cooked meal that's also very quick. Staff are very friendly. Gustavo greeted us in a very kind manner, helped by answering all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our coffees, hot chocolates and food. Their house special, the Chicken Avocado Arepa, was made for us by Mariana and they were "super delicioso!" I even went for seconds. Great team work! Just a heads up, it's in the same plaza as the Celebration Suites motel, parking is a little difficult to find but well worth it! read more

Omgggggg, so so so good!! I was visiting Orlando and came to Express Cafe due to the overwhelming positive reviews and it did not disappoint. The place is pretty small but is jam packed with amazing options and unique flavors. Friendly service and fantastic recommendations. The Arepa and Cuban sandwich were just ridiculously delicious. Also had some cafe con leche which was great! This place is a must try when in Orlando! read more

This is one hidden gem! My husband and I were staying at the Celebration Suites (also highly recommended) and were walking to Old Towne when we (pretty much) stumbled on it. Our food was "outstanding" and we can't wait to go back! In speaking with some of the other diners at the cafe the overall consensus was "you can't go wrong"! Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in this quaint outdoor setting with streamed "dinner appropriate" music turned what we thought would be a quick grab and go to one of the most amazing culinary experiences. All I can say is Julio may need to consider expanding in the near future! Fresh home cooked food, nice low key setting, and friendly staff...definitely a "win-win" in our books! read more

A hidden gems to try when in town with friendly staff. They have a variety of breakfast food from Cuban to Venezuelan. I ordered the chicken avocado arepa and was AMAZEDLY TASTY! The downside was that the colada that I ordered was more like an american instead of a cuban colada. It took a little while for the food to come out but it was all worth the wait. I will totally recommend the place for breakfast, and I will be back when I am around read more

Meet the Business Owner: Julio C.

After many years of creating and establishing different type businesses coast to coast and being a coffee lover (since I remember) I always found myself working out plans concepts ideas and meetings in small quite coffee places. It was until the market crash of 2008 that I realized having large inventories, overheads fix coasts etc in the uncertainty of the years to come was not a good plan. Traveling for business to Orlando few times after it was frustrating and daunting the task of finding a good cup of coffee, at least my good coffee the way grew up drinkig it. So the idea of Express Cafe was born

The owner was inviting and extremely friendly with our kids and took the time to explain the menu to us since we aren't familiar with this style of cuisine. We went looking for a good little coffee shop and found a tasty filling meal to go with the top notch espresso and cortaditos. We ordered two empanadas which were hot and flaky - the fillings we chose were beef and a bacon cheese. We enjoyed the cachapa with cheese, a breakfast style biscuit and a chicken arepa. All of our food was made fresh to order and was absolutely delicious. Both of our kids ate ALL of their food, even our picky eater ate every single bite.
