Called them today for a pump out , used them many times as a loyal customer. But I'm a customer no more.... They are $350 dollars more than who came out , and when I explained that I had to run out of town for my brothers funeral , they said we will call you back , which they did and said we can do it today but we will up charge you $250 more dollars to $850 dollars for your service... So they had the time but felt like taking advantage of a shitty situation... FYI, I opened the tank lid, cleared the spot for them had all the tools and hoses necessary which they knew and as seen in prior photos my tank is 10 feet from the fence.... We hired Express Drain and they certainly delivered! The company conducted our annual drain cleaning at our beautiful marina, and their airlift pump-out and team suctioned ridiculous volumes of sediment and debris from our drains. The company has highly competitive packaged pricing with fast quotes, great communication, excellent knowledge of the systems that we have (chambered french), and very professional operators. My kudos extends especially to the two gentlemen operators, who conducted a swift and very informative job. My first initial impression was good because he arrived 30 mins early and quickly diagnosed the problem and told us he would be back the next day, We waited all day! They couldn't bother to call to let us know they weren't able to show up and this continued to happen multiple times...no response or communication. This is unacceptable. read more

I called to have my septic tank pumped, was quoted, and that's what I paid; that's the good part. The workers that came to my home were fairly unfriendly, did their job, got paid, and left. No kind of customer service. Luckily I read the invoice that said there was a problem with the septic tank lid being cracked, I called them back to better understand. I was told they don't take care of lids, which was exactly what I did. Three different companies came out and told me something different: The lid was not cracked, nor the wrong size but was set back on top of the tank incorrectly and not sealed properly. So I paid ANOTHER $150 to a different company to place the lids back on properly and seal the tank. Not exactly happy about that, but lesson learned. read more

Extremely disorganized and untimely. I had my appointment scheduled for 9AM, no call no show. When I called the office the receptionist told me they had an emergency call and rather than calling and letting me know ahead of time, I had to call and ask for an ETA. When I tried to reschedule for a later time they told me a fee would be added and then when I asked to do a Saturday there was another fee for coming over the weekend! Considering I had my appointment scheduled ahead of time I don't think I should be charged with a fee for rescheduling the inconvenience they caused. read more

Last night at 6PM "Saturday" everything in the house stopped draining and also backed up. . I am a very capable handyman / mechanic / engineer etc... I figured out with little effort that the main drain had a back up, I tried the 10 ft drain snake, plunger etc.... My choice was go rent a 100 ft motorized snake or call a company. BTW we also have company staying the weekend and my wife and them were returning from a day at sawgrass in about 2 hours so we all could go out to dinner. I called a few places I found on the net and Yelp. The first 3 calls sounded more like a call center then a community based business. I know Ben from Express drain because my Goodyear store provides service to his trucks. I know they handle some big commercial jobs so, I figured before I call anybody else, let me ask him if he handles small residential drain clearing. He answered the phone on the 3rd ring and it wasn't a call center. I gave him the rundown on what I knew and what I needed "Quick". In 30 minutes his tech Rich was at my front door and in 45 minutes the drain was cleaned and tested opened again. The cost was far, the service was on point, the response time was mind blowing. My son and I cleaned up the mess 100% and my wife returned just as my son and I were finished showering and ready to go to dinner. NOT 24 HOURS! They may answer the phone, but they clearly aren't interested in their reputation. It's really not that late only midnight not 3 in the morning, but midnight. My toilet is draining into my shower and they say (something along the lines of) "What about 8 AM? Can it wait?" IF IT COULD WAIT I WOULDNT BE CALLING! I had an unfortunate problem with a blocked pool skimmer line at one of the properties I manage. The skimmer line was totally blocked, after working on the problem for an hour, I gave up. I called Express Drain on a Sunday afternoon and had the pleasure of speaking to Benjamin who apparently was the owner. He patiently listened to the problem and offered the solution. He suggested that I go back to the job site and be patient and continue doing what I was doing and try again and suggested one other additional step, which I did. Voilla !! it worked... We used Express Drain for Commercial storm drain cleaning for an office building. We found them quick and responsive in getting us a quote and providing their insurance and license info, and easy to schedule at a time that worked for our very busy parking lot. I actually sent them a note later that day telling them how professional their team was. Not only were they there early, I was on site and had a lot of questions. Anthony took the time to explain everything to me and taught me so much I didn't know- for example, the system design and how the drains were all inter-connected, and the importance of doing this cleaning more frequently than the five year window allowed by our city. I did not realize that there is much more to it than just debris in the catch basin- such as rotting leaves in the connecting pipes- not just the drains themselves- that can be problematic. They also tell me that they can clean our commercial HVAC conduit pipes to keep the slime blockages from occurring and we plan to do that eventually as well. Absolutely fuming at my experience with this company. I'm buying a house in Miami and there was a leak in the crawlspace under the kitchen that was pointed out during inspection. I sent a plumber from this company out there to check out the leak and give me a quote for repair so that I could plan accordingly for my move. I paid $125 to have the service done. The homeowners were currently still living at the house since we had not closed yet, we had a very specific time frame that the plumber was supposed to show up. He arrived an hour early and the homeowners were not ready. Then I was ghosted for 2 1/2 weeks and received no quote or communication. When I finally called the company back to follow up on my quote they told me that the plumber does not want to do the job, that they don't work in crawlspaces, and that my fee was for the plumber to check that there was a leak, not for a quote to fix it. We already knew there was a leak AND that it was in a crawlspace so why would we pay a plumber to tell us that? read more

Long story short, he dispatched Richard to our home to handle our messy backup (sewage in toilets and showers as well as our second bathroom tub filling with water on its own). I called this company to get a quote for an inspection because of a problem my neighbors and I are having (i live in a townhouse), I explained the issue and they told me they would charge $125 per hour for an inspection. When I asked if they would credit part of the cost of the inspection towards the job Steve said it's up to the plumbers. I asked if the plumbers are contractors and why Express Drain does not have a written policy that applies to all customers. Steve assured me they are employees but they are the ones that make decisions - which does not make any sense to me. Anyway, I still decided to go with them because I had spoken to one of their plumbers, Joey, who seemed very knowledgeable. They called me back and jack up the price to $325 per hour for the INSPECTION (they hadn't come to the house yet so they did not know what the issue was). I found this increase of the price very unprofessional. Of course, I called another plumbing company that charged me $135 for the inspection. read more

I called a few months ago and the plumber they sent did excellent clean work Then they sent Rich who works like a pig!! His attitude is horrible and he leaves a mess that is just as bad as his attitude! He seemed to be in such a hurry I felt like I was bothering him.
