I was so so happy with this process. I have to say I was skeptical using a company who was advertising on Facebook since so many I've found are frauds...BUT this company was AMAZING!!. We bought a rental property and hated the tile and carpet floors and wanted all one product on the floors. We met with the designer, she gave us a great quote. We got the floors scheduled. I had to move it back about 10 days due to the removal of a wall...but when that contractor was so quick, I called Express Flooring and asked to move it back up. SURPRISE, they could start the next day. So 7:30 the Lead was there. At the end of the day, all existing floor was gone.. And by the end of the next day, ALL NEW FLOORING! All the rooms, the laundry room, the closets the bathrooms...AMAZING! I totally would sue them again. read more

I had high expectations going into this working relationship because of the positive reviews I had seen online. Chandler was our salesperson, and he was SUPER nice when he came to our home. We were in a bad situation because our toilet had overflowed and we needed new floors throughout basically our entire home. The remediation and new dry wall had been completed, but flooring was something we needed installed, preferably asap. Chandler was so empathetic and said he promised we "wouldn't have to lift a finger". We were originally told they'd be getting started last Thursday. No one showed up. We called and they had apparently had some issues with the flooring being delivered, so they weren't even going to start the demo on our old floors. After some back and forth, and advocating from Chandler, they agreed to get started Friday morning and would call us by 9am with a two hour arrival window. Things happen, so we tried to move forward with a positive attitude. The first day was fine. Everyone was nice and helpful. We never got a phone call though, and didn't know they were even on their way until our alarm system notified us someone was at our doorbell camera. They finished up day one and were coming back Saturday. Things were not as smooth on Saturday. Again, no phone call to let us know they were on the way. They said one of their tools was missing. Only other people in our home were us and a handyman to start demo-ing our kitchen, and he swore he didn't even see it the day before. Either way, they took their frustration out on us. They came back today and were supposed to be finishing up the job. They left our home in absolute shambles. They didn't re-hang two of our doors, they got some type of material all over our freshly painted walls, and so much for not lifting a finger because they packed our furniture back in like a storage unit just threw up in our house. It wasn't even in the correct rooms. They didn't even bother taking all of it inside and left a lot of it in the garage. They left our windows open, and didn't even care. All of our furniture is probably damaged, I only saw some of the damage from the furniture I could see. They broke one of our solar garden lights, as well as a small sign in one of our flower beds. Their install supervisor, Cesar, yelled at me over the phone about not signing off on the work as completed and about them not rehanging our doors as we were told they would. We were replacing our toilets as well (since they caused this whole issue), but they arrived cracked and they are supposed to install our replacement toilets on Wednesday, as well as move our items to the correct rooms. Sales supervisor Kyle asked me to leave a review if they discounted our price, so here it is. If they show up on Wednesday and do a satisfactory job, I'll update the review. Until then, expect this level of crappy service and shoddy experiences. I can't add any more than 20 photos, but I have them. read more

DON'T BE FOOLED by the high ratings on Google or other review forms. All the 1 star reviews are 100% true. This place is a total and utter scam! The sales rep (Ours was Luke) comes in with a very old sales technique were he over estimates the quote and then steps outside to "call his boss and make a deal" slashing it to just a little over your max budget. He throws in a little presentation on how other companies or the local Home Depot or Lowes don't offer what they offer such as the life time warranty and customer service. Oh just wait. Day of the install, we got no notification of when they would be coming and they just showed up. They got to work and "finished" the job. A day or two later my wife and I noticed there was a section bowing up and down when you walked because they didn't cut it short enough and they didn't hammer the nails to a section where the hardwood met the carpet in our den/office. Should be a small fix right? We got that good ole' customer service life time warranty right? Right? RIGHT?!?!?!!??!?! We spent 2 months from our first service call getting no where. They wouldn't pick up, call back or send anyone out. We just kept going in circles with the same 3 or 4 people who eventually came clean and said they couldn't do anything. They lied about getting back to us at the end of the day and we have proof they black listed my wife's number for how often she called throughout the week. Because there is queue when calling or leaving messages and I would call from a different number and they would get back or pick up. When they would send someone out the 1 time he didn't even fix anything except to take pictures. Just more lies. Oh and never got a call, email or text about that service provider coming either. When we asked any rep for a boss it all came down to the main person at the San Antonio warehouse location. Her name is Alexandra Rodriguez. We were always told she would call us back and we even had one rep that said she was personally texting her now to make her aware of our situation. Eventually we had to go into the warehouse on the street side where her office is at and confront her. She acted as if she had no idea and was "sorry." Our floors were fixed 2 days later after that. worst company ever. customer service is almost non-existent. Jimmy Yates was the only person to ever call me back or speak with me and he is a complete scam artist. They installed the wrong color and refuse to fix it. also, they took out my perfectly fine baseboards and replaced them with the most trashy looking alternative that also didn't come primed or painted so that's another 7,000 expense that wasn't discussed before hand. the workers left holes in my sheet rock and broke my electrical outlets and bathroom sink! also, the workers left trash everywhere and were incredibly rude to my children and I. biggest mistake I've ever made trusting these scam artist and now I'm out 35,000 that I'll never see again. read more

Sales person said they weren't removing the old linoleum because our old house might have asbestos, then workers came in the house and removed the linoleum house tested for asbestos. We had to move out and live in a trailer for two months. They promised to refund of the expenses to get it remediated. Its difficult to recommend this company after my experience with them. There is a great divide between the sales department and the agent who gives the actual estimate. He used a very high pressure sales approach and was rude to us in our own home. Definitely a "my way or the highway" attitude that did not sit well with us. We contacted Express Flooring about an estimate via email one evening. They responded immediately. We set an appointment with their representative for the next day. We met with a very sweet young lady early the next day. She brought samples with her, based on my conversation with their appointment setting folks and set the installation for the following Monday. That was this past Monday. The crew arrived early and started straight to work. Checked with us on various subjects making sure we were happy all along the way. They ripped out and hauled away our old, nasty wood floors for our entire downstairs. Resurfaced the floor and prepared it for the new luxury vinyl plank, pet friendly etc., floor. They were all cleaned up and had the final walk through and OK by 6:00pm!!! Omgoodness! I am so so pleased with their work, Uber customer service and I LOVE MY NEW FLOORING!!! He brought samples, did a measuring, educated me on the different products. After settling on a product, we set it up for installation. Express flooring was the WRONG decision. I don't think I've ever written a negative review for any business because I know behind any company are a lot of people that have worked hard for it. But I don't want anyone else to get duped into working with this flooring company. When we walked after install we were immediately let down. For one - Our house was plastered in a thick coat of dust. I had asked our sales rep directly if we should move all our furniture out but he said no and insisted that the crew would take care to move all the furniture and cover everything tight with plastic. Well, they did not do that. We even have a picture from during the install where you can see the coach exposed with the plastic covering flapping open. This all resulted in over $1,300 of post construction cleaning costs we had to eat. When I brought this to the attention of Jimmy Yates, the one who is "managing" the job he said that if they were to reimburse us it is the company's policy that they would take it out of the install crew's paycheck. The other obvious issue was that the placement of the planks was not well done. I knew there would be color variations but in several places there would be a lone light colored plank surrounded by darker planks. Overall it all looked cheap and also feels like cheap plastic. Then within couple of months we noticed that the planks were ripping up off the floor in our office. They failed to give any care instructions or notes that would have informed us that a rolling chair would damage the floor and cause it to become destroyed - especially so quickly! We also right away noticed buckling in many rooms. Before a years time the buckling is in every room of the house except for the master bedroom but in that room there's a plank that's pulled away from the wall, leaving a gap. In our kitchen it's especially bad. Planks of LV started pulling away from each other leaving gaps in our floor. There are cracks and chips throughout our home from the buckling. We have been trying for over two months to get them to make good on our supposed warranty claim and cannot get the manager Jimmy to schedule the repair work. After over a month and a half of trying to get it scheduled and SIX calls into customer service we finally got Jimmy on the phone and he made a ridiculous claim that he thought the entire house issues was due to water damage which makes no sense. We had the crew leader come back out and he affirmed he didn't think any of it looked like water damage. He tested and we were way under the threshold - very clearly not water damage. Since the only time I was able to get Jimmy on the phone (which was only achieved by having customer service get him on the phone themselves) I've called his three times with no luck of getting ahold of him. It is his jog to be contacting us to get scheduled. I have to say as of now it is really seeming like they are trying to get out of holding up to the warranty promised in the contract. Their materials and installation seem affordable and look nice for the first couple months but the "extremely durable" LVP floors start to warp and look like they will pop up at any moment. I paid $21,000 for my whole home to be completed and I'm not even done paying them off and I am fuming!!!! The man that handles the claims (Jimmy Yates) is extremely incompetent and told us twice he filed a claim for us and when I talk to the woman that answers the phone she has no record of it!! We had a whole conversation with him and he thought we were a totally different customer and just seemed so confused and kept saying he was the only one that handles claims and so we were patient for the first 4 month, but this has been going on since September and it is now March and there has been ZERO progress!!!!! We all work hard for the money we have so I'm begging you don't waste your hard earned money on this "company"!! I feel so cheated!!!! I'm sure some bot or someone that doesn't even work for the company will respond to this saying "I'm so sorry you had this experience" Don't waste your time!!! If I could give this place a 0 star I would. This "company" is such a scam. We were promised a short remodel it's now been over a month and they still aren't finished. They definitely employ detestable workers that 1) almost never show up when they say they will 2) are misinformed 3) unwilling to complete a job 4) just leave without saying anything Furthermore, the company never sticks to their original deals and try to renegotiate upon the first day of remodel. And take payment out of your account before install is complete and if they are unable to, they contact a lien company to try and put a lien on your home so that you pay them for services they never rendered. I have reported them to the better business bureau and to immigration because I have a strong belief that they also employ illegal aliens. Stay away from this "company" at all costs. To the owner don't try to rebuttal and ask for forgiveness because I've looked at all your locations and the majority of the reviews from the last few years are the same. The worst experience I have had with a company. We used Express Flooring for new flooring in our entire home a year ago. Our floors have been a problem for months now and the company verbally admitted that the installers didn't lay a moisture barrier before laying our new floor!! It has been a nightmare ever since that verbal conversation. They make it impossible to escalate your issue and you have to call customer service daily to get any kind of response from someone. Our issue began in September and we are still trying to get something in writing and our problem fixed since it was Express Floorings BIG mistake! AND just when you think the problem is handled the person who promised to take care of everything leaves the company and leaves no notes!! I thought I had better do my research and come to find out through Yep and several other outlets they are much more terrible reviews then other places. I had flooring installed from express flooring about 2years ago. We where haply with the install at first. Then we had a few issues with the carpet and some of the tiles moving. No biggie they came out and fixed it right away. The next issue was about six months later. Some tiles were separating again. We reached out and after 3 months or so of calling and playing phone tag they came out and fixed it again. We had a warranty so there should be no issue. We'll it happened again same tiles same issues. They asked for pictures of the tiles, I sent them, then they told me that I have a temperature issue and a moisture issue. All this kver the phone. They won't come out because they no longer have someone local. There solution is for me to pay for another company to come out and make the repairs. They are not standing behind there warranty. If you can have someone come out to install you can have the same people come out and make repairs. Don't do business with these people there's a reason why there cheaper than everyone. read more

So far, not so good. The first day the guys showed up with the tile at noon (delivery window was 10-12 so, okay). They saw my project was on the second floor (which was QUITE obvious when I had the in-home estimate) and wanted to add nearly $5,000 to the project cost. After an hour of back and forth with the office where they agreed to honor the original contract (Thank You), the guys unloaded the tile and left to get the additional supplies. I was kind of confused because day one was supposed to be removing the existing flooring so really, what extra supplies were needed but.... ok? The second day I received a text that they were at Home Depot pic up the stuff at 0917. At 1104 they texted that they were still waiting.... At 1205 they texted that they were now at Lowe's. By 1505 I texted them to find out what was going on. I received a text back that because it was so late they would just be at my home the next day. I asked when I should expect them and was told 0830. Yesterday, (now day #3), the guys got here shortly after 1000. At 1230 I heard snoring from the upstairs. They were "finished " by about 1545 but did zero clean up and I saw them sitting in their vehicles out front until they left just before 1700 without even a word. My subfloor is covered in dust and debris. The stairs are even worse and have clumps of dried glue still on them from the old laminate. one of the risers has a lip broken completely off. Who knows what today will bring. I sadly am afraid I will be using the "lifetime" warranty because at this point I don't have much faith in the company. read more

Overpriced. Unprofessional. Scam artists. Had workers drinking beer and smoking cigarettes on my screened in porch. Had workers leaving their tools and belongings on my gas stove top which is now forever scratched and stained. Dirty finger prints left all over the floors and baseboards. Toilet was put back on improperly and they say it's not their fault. Warranty means NOTHING. Everything will be "that's the house shifting" or we're not plumbers, etc. Then I would advise Express Flooring don't touch the toilet. They promised to bring a plumber to fix it, never happened. The collections Manager Andre Williams, is a really power hungry man who has no regard for humanity and the safety of a my home. They JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. Interest rates are abysmal, even with an 800 credit score. They promised to complete the job in a week, took 5 months and it's still incomplete. They promise this or that. ALL LIES. Don't waste your time or your money on these snake oil salesmen. From the initial point of contact aka the salesman, to the installer, to the General manager Jimmy: All complete con artists. Go to Home Depot and buy your own floors, hire an installer and save at least 50% of the costs. Don't do it. Unethical. Terrible business practices. read more

I still have not heard back from this company despite numerous calls. At the onset, I told Express flooring that the reason for our call was because a family member had dropped something on the floor and we was willing to pay for that. However, since then there are numerous stress fractures on the floor. They claim it's because we have heavy furniture. Also, where the joints meet they are starting to peel up after only one year. They claim it's because I use a wet jet on the floor and I should only be using a mist. upon further investigation of the company they purchased the floorboards from. I am not sure what type of living conditions the company expects people are living under. Perhaps a dollhouse when there is no traffic and no dirt. Buyer beware please investigate before you employ this company. They do not stand by the warranty. They do not call you back. And obviously spend more time trolling message boards like Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. We live in Waco, TX and there is not an Express Floor store here so they came from Austin, TX (1 1/2 hrs. away). The flooring crew were at our front door at 9:00AM ready to work. And they did! They carefully moved furniture (one entire room had antique furniture in it) and began to scrape up the old vinyl. Most of it had been down since the house was built (1973). It did not come up easy. The laid the flooring down and it looks fabulous. They were very careful when they were laying the floor to have all of the patterns going the correct direction. We had ordered a medium dark brown wood pattern which looks like hardwood. This crew was prompt, worked thru their lunchtime, and did great work. We also had some carpeting replaced. It is about a 10x16 piece. That crew came in the afternoon, rolled up the old carpet and pad and took it to their truck. They asked my husband to check the color of the carpet before they even unloaded it. They brought in the new pad and carpet and it looks great!. They worked fast and efficiently. I would recommend Express Flooring if you want a reasonable price and quality work. read more

Horrible customer service, met Jospeh Schaffer at the house. Looked at sample, showed rooms needing carpeting. Talked about special. Price for 3 rooms $2600 and some change. Ok need to consult with my husband asked if he can leave paperwork...send estimate? "Yes I can.but the special won't apply if we don't commit today". Well I was told the special is to the end of the month. "It is but in the fine print it only applies to the initial visit...you know because they don't want the back and forth, you know with gas and prices, you know?" My response "no I don't know!" He gathered up samples and said "thank you and have a good day" and left. This took all of 25 minutes! Wow just wow! read more
