Express Lub == oil change...and nothing else. If you just want a oil change with all the other fluids topped off and some air in your tires...this is the place to go. No frills, don't ask any questions, don't "inquire" ....just pay them the 20 some bucks and get it done. If you need anything more, especially things more mechanical then you're better off going to a mechanic. They do small jobs here and there but the quotes were rather high. For me, this place works...don't need to make much small talk, just pay and go. Supposedly they use Valvoline oil based one the logos and they always topped off my washer fluid. For the price, I can complain since I have found that other places fail to top off appropriately. read more

It cost $22.95 and with tax came to $24.97 for conventional oil. Believe it's double the price for synthetic oil around $45 +tax. I'd give this place a zero if I could. I drove in looking for a parking space to let them know I wanted an oil change. Older guy in Express shirt appears annoyed to be bothered, says, rudely,"What you want you lookin like you lookin for sometin." I said what do you think I want? An oil change. He motioned vaguely walking away as if to say who cares. He told me to go F myself. I wouldn't get an oil change there. I'd drive 20 miles away if I had to and find anywhere else. Will not help you if you provide your own Oil/Filter. They should understand, some people prefer to only use certain brands...especially if they do not offer those brands (which was the case here). The gentleman who greeted simply said "No I don't do that here, nah-uh" and walked away. Did not care about losing a customer. Obviously their rational is that if I already bought the oil and filter, they aren't making much money on doing the oil change i.e. only paying for the service or w/e. I just don't get it...whatever their loss!!! I ended up going to STS Tire in New Hyde Park and they did the job for me with glee. And they did a great job. This is solely my opinion. I'm sure if I actually had gotten to use their services, I may have a differing opion. But this is my experience, therefore I am going to publish it as it happened. read more

Just had an awful customer service experience. Couldn't get a straight answer to a simple question.The guy in charge says "What do ya want?". I say oil change. He says "you gonna have to wait". I then simply wanted to know approximately how long. 20 minutes? 30 minutes? 10 minutes? He says until the "next car is finished. An oil change takes 10 minutes". So I say ok that means I have to wait 10 minutes? He says "You don't HAVE TO wait at all" and then walks away. He let me know that he doesn't care about a bad review. He said "go ahead". read more

Brought my wife's car here about 2 weeks ago and the young kid working there was great had me in and out in 10 mins. Went back today for my cars oil change since it is closer to my new house than where I used to go, and the miserable older man that was there tried to convince me my car can only take synthetic oil or he wouldn't do the oil change. I've owned my car for 5+ years now and have been running conventional since day 1. Terrible customer service from the older guy and he clearly doesn't know what he is talking about or just tries to force people to pay more for synthetic oil chnsges. Do not go terrible don't even deserve a star. Came to change my oil and they did put the skid plate back on correctly. The next morning I could hear something that sound like metal under my car dragging. I pull over look under it was the skid plate all bend and basically rip to shreds. Because they didn't put the screws and clips back on correctly. They don't even deserve 1 star. I reappear DO NOT GO THERE. Went for a quick oil change. Now I have whole different problem. Got an oil change in 10min..they also check if other fluids are ok or not at the same time. A check list is provided to you after. Reminder sticker is put on and it tells you the next oil change date or mileage on the sticker , see whatever comes first. I personally really like it. Since, I brought my car for an oil change at jiffy lube - they informed me that someone had put screws in that didn't match my make of Vw. It had to be these guys since they were the only ones to touch my car. Not a pleasant experience. read more
