I needed a new key fob for my Acura. Ishmael came to my house and sold me a new fob for $219. He took half as a deposit said would be back on Monday to fix key. Monday came, no phone call. I called him and said he would call me back in 10 min... never called back. Spoke to him the following day and accused me of being a rude customer that he spoke with the day before. Then told me he found a key starting at $59 and up, just needed my VIN number. He told me he wasn't trying to make only $20 in this job which is the reason for upselling the key. He decided not to do the work and charged me $55 diagnostic fee and $45 for replacement battery in my old key fob. So basically he wasn't trying to refund me the deposit. Unprofessionalism, rudeness and bad service - this is what you're gonna dealing with ordering locksmith services from Ishmael - the only one person in this "company". This person sold me a defective key for over $200 dollars (the real cost of this peace of metal is approximately $25 according to Amazon search), and that didn't even work. When I call him next day, kindly asking to fix it, there were words addressed to me that I didn't even hear before ("you're nuts", "you're bananas", etc.), so I have to google it, to understand what he meant. Before calling for this service, check BBB, there're already a few complaints about that company. They have super fast response, even at night. I put an inquiry in through yelp at 8:45pm and they answered that very same minute. I talked to them on the phone and told them what I needed: A key/fob for a used car that I just purchased. I also insisted on an OEM Key Fob. The price they gave was extremely competitive and their time frame was the very next day around noon. I got a call mid morning the next day and they stated they could come by earlier. They cut my new key and programmed my fob extremely quickly and even insisted that I try all functionality: the hidden key, locking, unlocking, and remote start to make sure things were fine. 100/10. I couldn't recommend a more honorable and honest business. We called around to reprogram our key fob after our car had sat dormant for 5 months and came across Express Mobile Locksmith on Yelp. At first our call disconnected, but they called right back. Ishmael gave us a quick, firm, extremely fair price that beat all other places we called (including Pop-a-Lock and the dealership BY FAR) and said he'd be right over in an hour. Excellent communication, he met us at our location and got right to work. He explained each and every thing he was doing, was fully transparent, the price was as-stated no uncharges or adjustments, and after almost 2 hours and multiple attempts, the car was having no luck. Any other locksmith would've called it quits, but Ishmael did not give up. He called other people he knew on the phone to get their insight, he tried different tool kits, he even had another appointment to attend an hour after us that was stranded that he sent another locksmith out to, but did not quit on our situation. As the family was all bummed and doubtful, he asked us to lock the doors to which an odd double beep sounded (that is completely normal to us when locking the door) but Ishmael lit up and ran inside the driver's seat, made an adjustment or so and the car started!! It was like a divine intervention. We couldn't be more grateful to have our key fobs reprogrammed and our car back on and running, not to mention, for the absolute best price in town hands down!! He gave us aftercare instructions, told us to call him any issues arose, and even told us how to get reimbursed by the insurance company!! If I could put zero stars I would! Absolutely rudest person I have come in contact with. I would never recommend this business to anyone. I called for a key extraction and when I was able to to get it out myself I called back tech who hadn't showed up yet and was told he was going to call the police on me if I didn't pay the service fee because he was already on his way.
