I came in bc my phone had water damage the guy told me it would be $160 to fix the phone and do a FULL DIAGNOSTIC of the phone and make sure there weren't any problems. A week later my phone screen wouldn't work properly (ghost screen) and eventually I could no longer touch my screen. Went back inside and he tells me there's water damage as if that's not the reason we came in, in the first place. That was another $80 and again he would do a full diagnostics. not even three days later the battery in my phone (had water damage) and started expanding pushing the screen out of my phone. I couldn't have my phone case on or it would freak out my screen Came inside and the guy said it would be another $80 but he would replace the screen for free bc he had to take the screen off regardless and give me a new battery. I couldn't afford that right then and there and dropped it off the following Friday so like a week. Well then my phone screen broke bc I don't have a case and when we finally took it back in to fix it the total was now $160 for the screen and battery but he gave me a free screen protector so I wouldn't recommend this place they will just keep trying to get money out of you and not fix the real problem they suck read more

Had an iPhone XR screen replaced. After using this iPhone replacement screen for less than a month the quality is very poor. It's cracking along all the edges with small shards breaking loose. Should have gone thru Apple for $199 instead of the $160 I spent on junk. Contacted the business for options. Was told they are unable to warranty but they could replace again at a discounted rate of $95. I wouldn't spend another dollar on the quality of this screen. It's too bad because they are friendly people to do business with. But obviously using a very inferior product. read more

Amazing customer service! I called Express Mobile Repair around 8:30AM to find out their hours. The person who answered said they normally open at 10AM, but that he was on his way to the shop right now and I was welcome to come by. I arrived at 9AM and he was very accommodating and allowed me to drop off my iPad for a repair. Since, this was my second time having them fix my iPad, with what appeared to be a similar charging problem, it should have been under their warranty. That day, they discovered the problem was not the same issue as previously fixed, but they honored their warranty as if it had been. They fixed my iPad a second time and considered it covered by their warranty! Such incredible customer service! I highly recommend this business! read more

My son broke his charger off in port and I was determined to get the piece out, I called numerous repair shops and found this store to be the lowest cost. I was starting to worry if it could be fixed because I wasn't getting a call back that it was ready, but then come to find that iPads are sensitive to metal being inserted in port and that the battery was broken along with two other chips... long story short these nice men fixed all of this for what I believe the other shops would have said not worth fixing, they spent 7 hours on this and because of the longer than anticipated wait time, through in free screen protector and charger. read more

A coworker recently recommended Express Mobile Repair. So, when my son broke the screen on his iPhone 8, we decided to give them a try. They are located next door to Rice Express, which is nearby along East Natoma. So, being located so close to our neighborhood was a bonus as well. In total, it took Gilbert about 20-30 minutes to not only repair and replace the screen, but he also perfectly applied a screen protector. Gilbert was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain the work he had done, showing us the broken remnants of my son's screen. To top it off, Gilbert gave us a screaming deal! We are so happy we came here and wanted to help them get the word out. I had an old Slingbox Pro HD which had failed just beyond the warranty period. I let it sit for several years because I figured it would cost way too much to repair. Then I found out about Express Mobile Repair, so I called them. They said they would determine the problem free of charge and provide a repair estimate, so I went in a few days later to drop it off. They were very friendly and welcoming. A couple of days later they called me with the estimate. Much to my surprise, it was about 20% less than the lowest possible price I expected to pay! My Slingbox works great again and I'm one happy customer! I'm so glad there's a place like this in Folsom with great customer service, technical know-how and fair prices (the shop all also happens to be a short walk away from my house, which is an added bonus).
