First of all, I want to say that I came here because the reviews were so good. The back of my phone glass was shattered so originally that is what I needed to fix. That cost me 172 dollars. Then with some bad luck, I accidentally dropped my phone while waiting for a new case the very next day and cracked my iPhone screen in the front. They gave me a knock off screen for a decent price. But now my phone is having all these issues where it's overheating and literally acting up like I can't swipe my finger on it sometimes. I thought I would be saving money, but then I finally had enough and took it back in to let them know the issue. Well I left my phone there for 4 hours to have them put a genuine screen back on it and came back only to find out that they didn't have the screen available. First of all, why if the LCD Screen is not good would you put it on in the first place? He was claiming that because of the titanium around my phone, the knock of screens will sometimes not work as well. But when I come back only to find out nothing was done?!! What a waste of my gas money and time! He then said he had to order the screen and would call me today and I've received no phone call. I would not recommend this place. Going to be marching myself to an Apple Store after all. I kind of hoped that after his explanation he would replace my screen for free. Especially after all the money I've already spent -- I may as well just get a new phone almost 400.00 later! read more

My Windows laptop stopped connecting to Wifi and a quick troubleshooting told me that one of my drivers was missing. Not quite sure why it would go missing, but that's another story. I could download the driver from the Microsoft/Intel site...but my laptop does not have an ethernet port. To get the driver would require me to find another machine, download it there and then move it over through some sort of an external hard drive. This was a Sunday and I looked around and found Pro Device open and had a 4+ rating. The feedback on Yelp was very positive and I can see why. I took it in (around 2 PM on a Sunday) and the technician told me that while he was not a Windows expert, he will put in a call to one of his colleagues who was and get working on it. I got a call an hour or so later and it was fixed. Turns out that it was not a motherboard issue as we were fearing and he was able to determine which driver was missing, downloaded it, and got me back online. Great service and wonderful price. Very conveniently located right off Sunrise and Coloma. They even included a 90-day warranty that covers the same issue should it occur again in that period. I highly recommend them. read more

Required a repair on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra charging port that would no longer charge through a usb C connection. After YouBreakIFix said they would charge $140 to repair,K later went back to them and they said they can't repair the phone because of a chip on my back glass. They then said I needed to pay an extra $110 to fix the back glass to fix the charging port at $140 totalling $250+tax. I called Pro Device Repair and they said they will 100% take care of me without repairing the back glass. They were extremely friendly and took care of me within an hour! YouBreakIfix said 2-3 hours. I had a terrible experience dealing with them, as I had to make several trips to the store for no reason. Therefore, I advise against going to this store to diagnose your phone because they will fix your phone and force you to pay for repairs. Even though they have good reviews on Google, do not be deceived by their tactics. I was disappointed by the attitude of the manager and the employees. I cannot recommend this store, as they charged me $180 for a power IC that I later found out costs only $10-15 on eBay. They did refunded me the money because the phone stopped working withing 24 hour. Do not let them take advantage of you. read more

Good luck if you chose to go here. My experience won't have me coming back. I had a phone screen replaced because it was cracked. The day after it was replaced, the new phone screen was cracked. I called and was told that there was no warranty. I went in and asked to talk to the owner. I was told that he was "out of the country" but that he would call me: he didn't. I went in to the store a few days later, told the person at the counter that the owner didn't call me. He said he would text the owner again and that he would call me: he didn't. I went in about one week after the first trip in and asked to talk to the owner. The person behind the counter got on the phone, talked to the owner for a few minutes, and then hung up. He said that the owner "would not be calling me". I talked about customer service (none), responsibility (none), and a willingness to discuss issues (none). "I just work here." read more

Brought my computer in for the screen to be replaced on the 7th. I was told four days. I waited longer than the four days to call to ask about my computer....when the phone was answered, I was told very rudely that they had my number and would call me when my computer was done. They also stated that they ordered a screen but it was "defective" and had to order another...fine whatever...I continued to wait and wait and finally called them again to ask about my computer. The same rude man said I called you three times and texted you days ago to tell you it was done. I received ZERO phone calls and ZERO texts. Fine, whatever...I pick my computer up on the 20th....I discovered once I got home that the touch screen did not work. I went today to see what happened and was told that the screen MIGHT be defective...so now they have placed TWO DEFECTIVE COMPUTER SCREENS on my laptop. I was told it would take SEVEN days for the new screen...Mohammed proceeded to say that the "piece" was expensive but it would be no additional charge...not sure what the point of him saying that for when I paid $214 for a working screen. I then said forget it, I'll keep the non-touch screen just refund me half because the service I paid for wasn't executed. I was then told to come in on Monday and talk to the "manager" because he's the only one who discusses refund. I even went as far as saying hey, I need an iPad fixed can you just give me 50% off that service and we call it even...but no...then the woman who was sitting there was rude as all get out. She had her arms crossed and was squinting her eyes in a manner that is deplorable during a customer service situation such as this. I don't want them to handle my computer anymore but I will need for them to refund me a portion of the bill because they DID NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE I PAID FOR. I will contact the BBB and my card if I am not refunded. read more
