Had me repaired in a couple of hours (of course they did have the part). Verizon had referred me (they have $20 off coupons at the one on Bidwell). Done and out the door for approx $120. I purchased a screen protector for my iPhone XS from Folsom iParts after the T-Mobile store said they did not carry accessories for the XS (too old). The salesperson recommended a rubber transparent screen protector instead of glass, saying it was a little stronger than glass. He looked up the measurements for the XS, uploaded the info to his cutting machine (looks like an old style printer), and it cut the right size piece for the phone. He then installed the screen protector in the usual fashion. He said the hazy marks from the install tool would disappear in a few hours, and they did go away in 2-3 hours. - said to return if it does not look good. The rubber screen protector does accumulate more finger smudges than I remember the glass on doing, but easy to clean off. Overall, I like the product. read more

Beware of human error. They damaged my phone during screen replacement. I took my daughters phone after it got water damaged. They told me it needs a screen replacement and asked for $200 upon agreeing they started the replacement and after a day they called me to told that the Face ID sensor also got damaged and can't fix. But the screen is fixed. I took the delivery by paying $200 plus taxes. After 58 days the screen started red flashing and they said a screen replacement will cost another 200. The old one was out of warranty so I took the phone to Apple store and they swapped the phone for $279. During the time they told the Face ID Sensor was manually broken during the last screen replacement. OMG these people damaged my phone during the repair. read more

Would give zero stars if I could, but this shop does not stand behind their work or listen to their customers. I recently had them put a new screen on an iPad. Last night my daughter was using the iPad while sitting next to me, and suddenly a section of the screen suddenly cracked, scaring her. You'll notice from the picture that the cracks cover a large area, span out from the middle of the screen (not an edge from an impaction) and have no specific impact point that the crack radiate from. I immediately called the store and was initially told that they provide no follow up service on cracks to items they have installed, but upon requesting for a manager was able to explain what happened. The manager, Ben, said that I could bring in the device and he would look at it. Today I brought the device to the store and again explained what happened. Ben insisted that what I said could not have happened, because he had never heard of anything like that. Per the manager there must have been some impact. I repeated what I had told him the night before about what happened, and pointed out that the nature of the cracks showed that the damage could not have been from a drop. Ben insisted that what I was saying "was not true". I think that it is one thing to refuse to stand by the workmanship of your shop, but another to insinuate that a customer who had previously called, and then came in the next day is a lying. I will not be doing business with this shop in the future, and would advise the same. read more

He tried troubleshooting for me over the phone but I couldn't get it to work so I decided to bring my phone in. It's embarrassing but he helped me fix it in less than 5 seconds (not exaggerating). I guess iPhones can be a little glitchy and turn off. You sometimes have to press a series of buttons to turn it on again.
