Update May 31, 2 weeks after we paid $600; it DOES NOT start again, we drove a little bit, pulled in for gas and now we are broken down in a heatwave, blocking two pumps. We purchased batteries and parts And were assured, for $600 it was fixed. So in 6 months we have spent a grand with Mobile RV only to have it NoT running MOST of the time. UPDATE: Now it is $600 just to get the engine started (used to be $120) for them to work on the RV. They will not give us a list of what they are fixing, (a $5 piece?) labor is 2 hthey borrowed our stool, it was stolen. Lucky we took photos BEFORE they worked on the engine because they CrACKED something attached to the battery then tried to BLaMe us for it. - Right now it feels like another temporary fix and that we will need to have someone else work on the engine. - 3 stars seemed fair because the first time was 5 stars, the second visit was 5 stars, this visit with the new employee (not Sergio) is ONE Star. - 3 appointments in less then 4 months to keep a maintained and started regularly RV engine running should tell you what kind of service to expect. read more

I called to ask for a quote on seeing what's wrong with an rv. I wanted someone to tell me what's wrong so it could be fixed and I asked how much would that be? I was quoted 250$ on the phone to look, but when Sergio got there he charged me $450 after looking at it only to tell me that it's normal for the rv to take a while to start up. I told him I was quoted $250 but we ended up negotiating the price down to $275 which I know is still more than I should have. I don't trust it. I'd rather give my money to honest workers. read more

Sergio is a scammer. He agreed to come look at the RV and told me on the spot he needed a $175 deposit for a quote. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and agreed to do this pending the work gets done. He won't return my calls, ignores my messages and will not refund me. He eventually sends me two outrageous quotes for installing a sky light. $1k for just installing a bubble that cost $200 and $2k for full replacement of the skylight that I sourced the part myself for $800. Sergio got back to us and schedule in a few weeks that works for our family's availability to see how they fix up our Toyota Dolphin RV. Didn't know the fuel tank was in need of a deep cleaning due to how long the RV must have sat so he gonna recommended me someone to clean up the fuel tank later on after he is done with making my RV engine runs first so it can move later on. So he got the parts needed to fix it which turns out it was the fuel pump filter that has definitely seen it days as those specific parts were rusty and dusty (decades maybe?) This RV was sold to us by our adopted grandma so we wanna make sure still works for our family. There were 3 guys in total fixing it up and they were tilting it up with their two car jacks to get to area to disconnect the fuel tank and to replace the fuel pump shortly after. Problem: The fuel pump was having lots of issues Solution: Get a fuel pump replaced and inserted in the RV Objective: Get RV's engine running with the needed parts. In the end, the engine runs on the RV. Parents were surprised when they saw the RV engine runs so we can move the RV later this week. Best bang for ya buck for cool RV mobile technicians. We made sure to give them ample enough of space in the parking lot as our neighbors leaves early in the morning for work so it gave them lots of space to work in and for them to have parking without worries. Dad said it was definitely affordable buckaroos in total for labor and parts and to be come to our location. Placed down a deposit first in the beginning so they can get the parts needed and was able to pay the second half down in the end. =) read more

Be careful - was quoted one price and was charged another. What they won't tell you until they send you the invoice is that all jobs have a 3 hour minimum. So a job that was quoted at 200/300 dollars can quickly turn into 700+ dollars. All with without disclosing that before they start the work. I had simple trim work done, no power tools involved. So he was finished in about an hour. I worked with Sergio who did good work but sadly can't recommend due to shady practices. If you are going to work with them, push them to tell you the full/real price upfront. read more

DO NOT USE EXPRESS MOBILE TECHNICIANS! Is zero stars an option? We originally agreed on a 11AM Thursday appointment - $250 to swap out a hot water tank for a tankless water heater. No follow up call the night before or the day of, so I called Thursday morning to confirm our appt. He then changed our appt to Saturday at 10AM. I sent Sergio the meeting address and asked that he confirm the appointment and address - he never did. Saturday morning I texted, and then left a voice message to confirm out 10AM appt. At 9:58 Sergio replied and said he would be there at 11AM. At 11:45 I asked how much longer until he would arrive - he rolled in at Noon ... 2 hours late ... AND AFTER missing our previous Thursday appt. He looked around, and said the hot water swap was going to be $300 - $50 more than we had agreed. He said it was because it was a Saturday and I was lucky that he was there because his wife usually doesn't allow him to work on weekends (she happened to be in his truck). He also said, "It's just $50 dollars." My reply, "Well, since we agreed to $250, and "it's just $50", then lets stick to the agreed upon amount - $250." He then said he would rather not take the job. He packed up and I let him out of the parking storage facility ... after missing our first appointment, and making me wait around for 2 hours on a Saturday. Sergio is a genuine man who is a humble, honest small business owner. I live full-time in an RV. We had what I thought was a severe problem, I called all over Orange County, CA, and everyone could not come out for at least two weeks. I sent out quotes for RV repair to multiple locations via Yelp app and most came back with "call me" to get a quote. I'm doing this for my best friend who does not use any social media platform. When I saw this business on Yelp with no reviews, I was a bit skeptic. Then I called and spoke to Sergio because his service was mobile and my friend did not want to leave her RV overnight at the dealership. His quote came back less than the RV dealership. When Sergio came out to see us, he was pleasant to interact. He climbed on top of the RV to assess the condition and then we walked around to RV to confirm what needs to be done. He provided a quote that was reasonable since he came on site to do the service. He ask for a deposit (half the cost) in cash so that he can buy the materials to start the work. You can pay him in check or credit card but there's a service fee (2%-4%). We didn't want to pay more so we opt to cash payment. The work span over a period of 3-4 days per the quote. To be honest, I was worried that he would took the cash and run and not come back but thank goodness that didn't happened. The first two day of work felt slow with little progress but Sergio and his hired helped got the job done on time. Part of the issue was also due to my BFF who was interfering with his work when he decided to remove the AC unit and left a hole on the roof, which was never mentioned when he explained the process of sealing the roof and windows. Overall, I'm glad that my BFF's RV is fixed and ready for the raining season ahead. She's a happy camper now. Sergio also guaranteed his work and service for 1 year, which gives me a peace of mind. Sergio and his team did a great job and I truly appreciate the on-site service. I did not climb up top to take the picture after the work was done because it was dark. One thing I would advise for Sergio is to communicate with the customer better in terms of being on time. Just a quick text if you are more than 30 min late so that people can do other things, instead of waiting for your arrival. Also, communicate the actual process of the work to customer so that they don't panic like removing the AC unit nearly gave my BFF a heart attack. I would highly recommend Sergio at Express Mobile Technicians to fix your RV needs because the convenience of on-site service and his great personality.
