This place is ridiculous. I service both of my cars here and never had issues until today. They changed my air filter after upselling to make money, saying it needed changing. After it was changed my car would not accelerate. I called to let them know and I kept being told by the manager TT that he was on the way. He kept saying 30 min with traffic and literally my car was stalled only 5 min away. I never leave reviews but TT did it for me with his rudeness and unwillingness to come fix their error. At this very moment I'm still waiting for TT to get here. After this experience I probably will never go back to this location. I'm very unsatisfied and disappointed. I've spent so much money with them. Never again. One thing I will say about this business is integrity! I took my car in for what I thought was an "easy fix" and an oil change. I had a coolant leak. DJ spent days working on my car, tore it down, got into it and gave me a call. His call was "I'm sorry, this is going to require a dealer's evaluation, this is beyond our scope" they put my car back together, gave me all the records and told me what I needed to tell the dealer was wrong. I ended up with a major problem, but they walked me through it, gave me detailed explanations and showed me what was wrong, Every time I come here if they say I need a filter changed, they show me the filter. Not only do they do their work, they educate you along the way. Service like this is a rarity in this industry. I cannot tell you how utterly disappointed I am in this spot. Today preparing to leave for the holiday my oil sensor detects an issue. I pull out and go to John miles 2 miles from my house to get them to check sensor... sensor correct! Oil leaking from an oil cap, filter jammed in AND if I would have driven it home for holidays... motor would have locked!!! I go to the place and I step to the service desk. Tech summons me to his bay; as I'm talking to him Hector snatched the paper from my hand and says "According to company policy...". I tell him they need to check behind tech especially if they are inexperienced and I could not drive my car that far so no I was not going to allow them to fix the problem... so glad! He had asked me to do something (I was sitting in the car) and I could make out exactly what he had said and turned the car on. While calling around for pricing on brake services and tune up, I stumbled upon Express Oil Change. Spoke to the manager Nick and had a nice conversation about my options and cost. Out of all the places I've called, Nick was the ONLY person so actually explain everything from prices, to services to the why's and the what I could need. They offer a free break inspection and upon having my brakes inspected (and determining I did not even need a tune up), Nick gave me the honest low down on my brakes and what NEEDED to be done. He also offered AC services which I decided to go ahead and have done too. I never knew this place existed, but I won't be hesitant to stop by again for future car services. Nick worked with me from start to finish and constantly was explaining what exactly is going on with my car. He's very honest and stands by his promise to only charge for what you need, not what they want to charge you for. Went for an oil change and was met by Hector the new manager. This guy had a very nasty attitude and was one step away from me losing it on him. He cut me off when trying to speak and got irritated when I didn't notice his hand signal to steer slightly left. I held my tongue because I was passed due for an oil change and didn't have time to go elsewhere. The young man that oversaw service after Hector disappeared was nice and professional. He advised that they were under new management with an entirely new crew which was quite evident. With a manager like that having such a sh#tty attitude, I don't expect them to be in business long. Not from the area and really needed an oil change. I was concerned that they would see my out of state tags and try to pull a fast one. I used the Yelp coupon and got fast and courteous service. They give you the option of staying in your car or going into the waiting area. The waiting area was clean and super cool, a welcome respite from the GA heat. They warned me that my belts were getting old and brittle but still had some life in them. If you are an old lady, trying to get an oil change, stay away. Oh my gosh, I thought those days were over. The technician told me I had to pay 70.00 for an oil change, stating because my 2012 Subaru needed synthetic oil. I have never paid more than 35.00 for an oil change. I usually try and use a subaru dealership, lesson learned! I was in a hurry as I was leaving town for the a few days, so I agreed. Next thing, he is telling me I have a belt that needs to be replaced as it controls the moving of many parts. He stated it will be 129.00. Stupid me, how did he know that so quickly! I said, do you have the belt? He replied, oh yes we do. Lesson learned again. It was a lie. A parts store had to be called and I set there for almost an hour, while the parts store delivered the belt. I really feel as if I was played. I know my stupidity. Lesson 101! I took my car to this Express Oil Change to get my oil changed about a month ago, and have been having problems ever since. First, the check engine light came on about two weeks after I got the oil changed. As it turns out, someone failed to "reset the maintenance light switch." While I understand it's easy to forget to reset it, to me, it's an indication of inefficiency and ineffectiveness, so I chose not to take my car back there to have the switch reset. This is why the oil light kept coming on, so it went off ... but only for a couple of days. I added another quart of oil, but it came back on a couple of days later. This morning, I woke up, and was about to drive to another shop (when an establishment 'jacks your car up', they usually count on you to bring it back to them so they can charge you more) but because I called ahead and told them the problem I was having, the technician advised me to put oil in my car FIRST. I had to put in 3 quarts of oil!! Got to the shop, and there were no leaks. There was only the evidence of poor service, on the part of Express Oil Change. The technician said that it was apparent that they hadn't put in enough oil, AND they didn't reset the maintenance light. Talk about service that SUCKS! This could have completely damaged my engine. I'll be calling them later today to demand my money back. I'm keeping my receipt for the three quarts of oil I just put in my car only 3 weeks after they supposedly changed my oil. Loved it! I came because of the good reviews. I was immediately greeted before I left my car to go to the office. I was quoted quickly on my oil change. Mr. Hector speaks fast so you have to turn on your listening ears! I drove to the back and Hector led me in. You are welcome to stay in your car and that is very different from other places. Other places, they take your car, you don't know what they do, and want to charge you for things you have no idea why. Here, you are there and know all that is going on. There is a display next to you that shows all you are being charged for and the time elapsed. It only took 13 minutes. I was longer because I was new and had questions. I need some other work soon, but Hector showed me why. He showed me my air filter (he was out of stock), he showed me the color of my transmission fluid, and he explained other things that will need attention for preventive measures.
