They even replaced a brake light that was out with no extra cost..and a full synthetic oil change is cheaper than the Groupon itself..which is awesome info..so when I do run out of oil buys on Groupon..I can come here and get it for a little cheaper..cause saving money at place that takes care of your car needs is always a plus.. I am NOT a lawyer, but I am a car person 1. I can get my one FREE oil changed a year. 1. I was told that had to pay. Now I paid for a program that is called the Midas Gold Card. The manager did want to look to see if I was under the problem. Just told me I had to pay. I pull out my card and show him. After the oil changed he told me that cost was $$.00 and I told him again. He punched my card, and that was not the end of it. They told me I need my car pipes clean and it was the law that he could not let me drive my car off the lot. I tried to tell him that I got it done somewhere else and started to show him the paper, getting mad at me, and he told me to get outut, a customer was hearing this. After the manger stop tell off and try to sell me I didn't need. I just wanted to leave, when I start to leave, he gave me a free oil change. Truth I would not go back if you payed me all the money in the world. I don't like to be treated that way and be sold something I don't need, knowing I did need it. So, if anyone tell you that you need to buy or need something, ask other auto places and see if they say the same thing. 2. Know your car. JUST DON'T GET SOMETHING DONE. ASK A QUESTION. There are always people who love to talk about engines. If you don't explain it to them, that is not the place for you or tell you that is the law( make then show you in writing). Keep track of what you do to your car and who does it for you. There are comany what will do and say anything to get your money. I don't know about you but I am not rich. A good COMPANY WILL LISTEN, NOT TRY TO SELL YOU SOMETHING YOU DON'T NEED, OR TELL YOU LIES. Talk to other people and see what they think about the company. Avoid at all cost! I rarely leave reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. I brought my car to Midas because it was overheating. After keeping it for three days, they told me the issue was fixed, so I paid $1,400. Unfortunately, the car started overheating again immediately after I left the shop, nothing had actually been resolved. From there, the situation only got worse. They kept my vehicle for an additional four weeks and, without my knowledge or permission, transferred it to another shop. In the end, they told me they couldn't fix the problem at all. When I finally got my car back, it was in worse condition than when I dropped it off. The hood had been damaged, and there was clear towing damage, including a leaking axle boot that was not an issue before. To make matters worse, they refused to refund any of the $1,400 I paid, even though the issue was never fixed and additional damage occurred while the car was in their possession. At this point, I'm left with no choice but to pursue legal action. This experience cost me time, money, and additional repairs, and a complete lack of communication and accountability made it even more frustrating. I strongly recommend others think carefully before trusting this location with their vehicle. read more

Don't bring your car here for repairs. We brought our Pathfinder in due to misfiring cylinders in September; they charged us $1700 and replaced a bunch of parts in our car. Then not even 5 months later, our car completely broke down and we had to pay $700 to get it towed...the diagnostic code was for misfiring cylinders...again. We brought it back to them to fix, they charged us $225 more and supposedly fixed it. Not even 3 weeks after that repair the engine light comes on again and guess what the code was? Misfiring cylinders....We brought it back in and spoke with the owner, who took no accountability for the shops bad repair jobs and blamed it on the parts breaking even though they use the "best parts available, the same ones that the dealership uses." Everyone here is very kind and cordial, but the quality of work done is garbage. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

Avoid this Midas at all costs. I've had numerous problems with this Midas. Their incompetent mechanics rotated the tires on my car and as we exited the parking lot the tire came off completely. It bent the frame on our car. They will not acknowledge that They told us never to come back. They pulled the transmission out just before that incident and ever since they did that the steering wheel didn't get put back in correctly. We've had nothing but problems since then. I can't even get the car properly aligned, it's so out of whack. It's tearing up the tires. And I've contacted the regional sales manager and he won't even address the problems! Terrible workmanship here. I let them know I was having an AC issue and that it was the connection. They charged me $300 didn't change the connection and didn't fix the issue and still charged me. They charged me $90 for an alignment. They couldn't do the alignment. (I had to change a part) then SYED the "manager" wanted to charge me again to adjust the alignment after another employee assured me that it would be covered. I quote "Just bring it back in when you change the Drag link, the alignment is covered for 90 days" There are a lot of shops around this side of town, I would stay far away from here and Syed the "Manager". I scheduled an appointment online for 430 because it was an option. Waited about 30 minutes to an hour for a confirmation email and did not get it. So I decided to call this location where I scheduled my appointment for 430 and they told me they would work me in and to just come in. I live about 45 to an hour away from this location. When I arrived, they greeted me disrespectfully stating they close at 5:30. They done said they cannot work me in after I told them I live an hour away they sent me on my way back home. Avoid this place at all costs. I should have turned around after I saw Don C. turn down the customer who had a Groupon for an oil change saying they were booked full. He then proceeded to talk crap about the customer as soon as they left. Later I found out that the service area looked full because the employees working parked their vehicles in the stalls so it looked full. I had a Groupon for new brake pads. I was brought back to my car to look at the pads and rotors. I was told by a helpful employee that they weren't perfect but were ok. Don came out of the office, measured rotors without showing anyone and said they couldn't do it unless I brought new rotors. He said it was company policy and I was out of luck. I asked for alternative options and he said I had none. He told me new rotors would be an additional $200. He didn't tell me they didn't have any so I waited an additional hour for the parts to be delivered. At the end of the service I asked for my old rotors and got the opinion of two other mechanics elsewhere who said they were still in good shape and shouldn't have been replaced. There is a serious lack of leadership, communication and honesty going on here. I will never go back to another Midas. I encourage everyone else to at minimum avoid this Midas in particular if Don is around. Very disappointed that I wasted time and money here. This Groupon was supposed to be a deal but is just a Midas scam. read more

Oil change took 6.5 hours with an appointment on Saturday so it was busy. Some people were very friendly, others were unbelievably dismissive. It was a good price. Oh where do I even begin. First let's say that I'm from out of state and will bringing my car back across state lines to have them Service it. I have had a regular mechanic in California but a recent smell and observed leak in a suction line had my girlfriend suggest bringing it here to at least have them look. I got the call back after they put it up on the racks and I almost fainted. I thought my regular mechanic had done me right, when in reality my Jeep was a ticking time bomb. These guys fixed it and even went out of their way to make my A/C better more than I could have imagined and that wasnt even the problem. They are meticulous and their customer service can't be beat. What a Nightmare, this incompetent Midas location at 18783 N 83rd Ave, Peoria, Az. 85382 damaged our amazingly running 2019 Chevy Camero with a bad break and rotor job, 3500.00 repair bill and counting. We just want to get car running at same level prior to the damage. This Midas offered 1/10 our out of pocket expenses, not including days off work, time invested, diagnosing, repairing issues, and rental car. After this break job was done, we drove off and stated to hear a sound coming from under car, as long as we've had this car, it always sounded perfectly quiet. Freaked out my girl friend drove car back to Midas and told them about the sound, Midas had a employee drive with us down the block and assured us this sound was due to new breaks and rotors and this sound would go away in few weeks, we trusted his opinion at this point. When our normal Mechanic we use through Wrench.com with 29 year experience and all 5 star ratings diagnosed problem he said he use to work for Midas and customary procedure is to put car back on lift and check for issues, if they followed that prodocall, they would have seen there was a loose bolt effecting caliper. So the whole time we were driving, a loose, sharp caliper came loose and fell and was scraping against this inside wall of the rim and punctured the inside of rim and seized up all our tires. Fortunately, we were already home when this happened. If we were on freeway when brake seized up, there could have been multiple fatalities, including us. We don't know what long-term collateral damage this will cause our 2019 Chevy Camero long term. Now, this Midas doesn't want to compensate us adequately for expenses and told us to take them to court and talk their lawyer, further inconveniencing us, "more time and money for their mistake". I'd give them 0 stars on there non professional attempt to resolve this issue. read more

I got a Groupon for this Midas at 83rd and Union Hills last week and scheduled for a synthetic blend oil change. I asked about extra fees and was told approx $12 for tax and disposal. Well, ok. I got there for appt this morning and it was " Oh, you have a Buick? GM reqires Dex certified oil and our synthetic blend isn't Dex certified. We can do full synthetic for $50 more." One word to describe this location of Midas: HONEST!!!! We have been going here for years, but we typically have newer vehicles and don't often need repairs. My hubby thought it might time to replace my brakes. We also both noticed a shimmy when driving. So I arranged an appointment for a brake inspection and an alignment inspection. Ultimately, after a quick inspection in the parking lot, we were told that our vehicle's brakes had plenty of pad left. We were also told the shimmy is likely because a tire needs to be balanced. We weren't charged for any inspection fees! We were VERY impressed with how HONEST this Midas is as they could have done repairs, charged us and we probably wouldn't have ever know that we didn't actually need the repairs that we requested! read more

I paid for a Groupon which entitled me to a synthetic oil change at the Midas shop near 83rd and Union Hills. The retail price was approximately $69.00 but was crossed out and advertised at 29.99. I got an additional few dollars off due to a special Groupon incentive. There was no mention of how many quarts of oil this coupon was good for. When I arrived for the appointment the rep told me because my auto took 8.5 quarts and the Groupon was for 5 quarts I would have to pay for the extra 3.5 quarts. I felt that was fair. After all, since I was paying approximately $6.00 a quart originally I figured another 18.00 or so would be fair. He wanted to charge me $40.00 more dollars for the extra 3.5 quarts! So the total would be $70.00 instead of 29.95. That, my friends, is a total rip off. Be wary twice. Watch out for Groupons that seem to be too good to be true and stay away from crook businesses like Midas! read more

This business is one of those to avoid completely. First, don't even waste your time trying to use their online appointment setup, midas ignores it. By phone I scheduled a synthetic oil change on my vehicle as I had a midas coupon that seemed to be a good offer. Well that coupon didn't mean squat as the oil change cost DOUBLE what the coupon showed. Heck of a scam, generally known as a bait and switch. My concerns are if midas runs these scams on customers, how can I be sure they even changed the oil or bothered to use a synthetic and not synthetic blend or regular oil? No way would I have faith in their work as far as break or any other repair where a business' integrity or lack thereof is important. I won't take the chance and put myself nor my family as risk. I am now left wondering if I should get my oil changed again at a reputable establishment to avoid what midas may have or have not done. So beware of fake coupons at midas. There are far better places that want your business and not resort to shady business practices to get you into their shop. Midas chose to respond in requesting that I contact them. Well, I had and STILL have not heard from them. Not sure if there was a oops somewhere or is this simply there way to try and save face without following up on their own requests? -I found something that is actually worse than Midas oil changes. Midas customer care manages to outdo their service. Midas customer care requested I contact them after the scam perpetrated by their Midas shop. I did, and their response was NOTHING. I figured with the shoddy service maybe my email was lost among the tens of thousands so I resent the complaint and just like the first one, Midas blew it off and I never heard from them. Obviously telling the customer to contact them is there way of taking zero action or concern but making it appear they do care and did something without doing anything. Midas corporate is telling us they fully support these hokey oil changes and could care less about the customer. Being that this apparently is standard operating procedure for Midas I opted to contact the Better Business Bureau to hopefully let future customers know what they are in for. BBB actually contacted me and has sent a copy of my complaint to Midas. While I don't expect anything than the usual blow off at least it is no documented where people can read it. It didn't surprise me at all to learn that Midas is NOT a member of BBB and that Midas has an F rating from them. read more

I took my wife's CRV here for an oil change no big deal. They told me the car needed alot of work, the transmission fluid appeared original and such. I agreed lets do this service @~$450. then they told me my Power Steering is electric so it wont be included, but they'd offer me a free oil change in the future (instead of a price decrease) - that's on me I should have jumped right then., but I did not and just said do what is needed. What really shocked me though was after we picked up the car. I thought for ~$450 they would at least fill the tires with air, but nope. I thought they would at least fill the windshield fluid, but nope. It all seems quite silly to me how little they care about the condition of the car going out, after-all I agreed to a $450+ service for what I thought should just be an oil change, so I was ready to pay to get this vehicle in good shape. They do not care about you car. I will not be taking them up on there "free oil change offer" and I will never bring another vehicle to this Midas location nor will I allow my friends/family to do so without me letting them know my experience. read more

Terrible. Will never go back. Had issues with blower motor receptor. They replaced (375$) and as I left, I asked about the blower motor itself specifically and was told confidently. There was no issues they had tested it and it was completely fine . The next day I got in the car went up the road in the air completely went out nothing would work at all. Call the shop took it back in and now all of a sudden conveniently the blower motor is blown and I had to pay another $200 to get it fixed. I was livid contacted their corporate office who did nothing didn't even return a phone call to Me got no repercussion for the extra money or the time and labor, and was actually spoken down to as a woman by the staff and manager until my husband went in the shop to get my car. Horrible customer service and total heavy hit to our finances we didn't have. I'll never go back there again. They completely rip you off. My aC works now but has a constant loud, buzzing noise like a cricket is stuck in it when it's running! Stay away from this place. Not happy at all. read more

This location is very easy and convenient for me to travel to. I don't know much about vehicles but every time I go there the guys there are always so friendly and so helpful. They're honest with me about everything, they don't try to take advantage of my pockets, and they always go above and beyond to satisfy customer needs. A gentleman by the name of Richie, was so considerate and thoughtful. He noticed my license plate lightbulbs were out and changed them for me to prevent from getting pulled over. I've been meaning to get those changed but totally forgot about them. Richie took the initiative to do it himself without me mentioning anything to him about it. Free of charge! How amazing is that?! We took our car because the oil Filter had a cracked seal and was leaking. We had gotten the filter from another Midas in California and they put it on without some parts. They were so helpful. We had a trailer hitched to the vehicle and couldn't pull into shop so they had to lift it. They only charged us for the part. Not labor or oil. They were so nice. While finishing, they called asking to replace the Air Filter.I wondered why if they looked at would they want to replace a Permanent K &N FILTER? Told them to clean it and it's good. Saved 40. and kept my good one. Next we found engine 2+ quarts low.Very Bad! No service sticker on window. They have problems that need attention. read more
