I've used this place quite a few times for service on my truck and my wife's car. Oil changes, full brakes, spark plugs, tires. They do a good job. Priced fairly. My only knock is that they could do a better job on extra customer benefits. Like when I spent $2,000 on new brakes and plugs. They could have at least rotated and aired up my tires as a nice throw in for spending so much. That as a bit of a disappointment and a very easy customer service booster. Wow! Did I actually find an auto service center that doesn't attempt run up the bill at every visit? A Google search shows that, according to RepairPal and Edmunds, the average annual maintenance cost for my vehicle should be $478. Recommended services at my previous shop exceeded $2000 for each of my last three oil changes, so I was on a quest to find a service provider I can trust for routine maintenance. Express Oil Change is the type of shop that you stay in the vehicle while oil changes are performed. My service technician was courteous and professional. He complimented me on how well my vehicle has been maintained and explained the additional services he recommended. One recommendation was a $99.99 Injector Cleaner Service. I declined because the recommended service internal is 15k mi and I had this done 5k miles ago for a cost of $299. Their price was $200 less than I was charged by my previous auto shop! My out-the-door price for a full synthetic oil change was $115.35 ($108.16 + taxes & fees). Only time will tell if this is my go-to shop, but I will be back when service is needed for my vehicles. read more

It's strange, but navigation seems to have a problem with finding this location. It's likely because it's so new. I got a flyer in the mail so I went there for an oil change. They weren't sure how to get the oil change sensor off so I googled it really fast & all was resolved. All the employees there were very polite, professional & efficient. I knew I needed new tires so I picked some out which they ordered & said would be in the next morning. I went back the next morning which was a Saturday to get my tires put on. Again great service. Later that day I noticed my tire pressure light was on. I called & they asked that I come back as soon as possible to have that cleared. No big deal, but I was far away so that was going to need to wait. Later that night on the freeway one of my tires completely separated from the rim & I had to pull over & get an Uber home. This was very scary as it was very late, dark & I am VERY new to living in TX so I had no idea where I was. The next morning I got my car towed back to Express knowing that I did not hit anything on the freeway or do anything else to cause such a strange occurrence to my tire. Express is unfortunately closed on Sundays so I had to wait until Monday for their assistance. When I called on Monday the manager Kevin was very apologetic & helpful. He saw my car in the parking lot & could tell the damage was due to a faulty tire from the manufacturer. They don't have a key drop box so I did have to have a friend drop off my key that morning. They promised to give me a call when my car was ready, but by 3pm I still hadn't heard anything! I called over there & was told my car had been ready for hours, but that their contact info for me was wrong & they were unable to reach me. I looked on my paperwork from 2 days ago & noticed that they did have an incorrect e-mail for me, but that my phone number appeared correct on my receipt. So I requested an Uber to go back to Express to get my car. Kevin helped me & together we found out that their phone has some kind of crossed lines to where the number they dial out is not the number they are connected with. So he really DID have the correct number & DID try to call me, but unfortunately the phone lines were crossed somehow. So I guess the conclusion of this review is that customer service was great, but a lot of other factors made this kind of an unpleasant experience. I do believe most everything was out of their control, but seems like this new location has a few kinks left to iron out. Based on all of this, I felt like 4 stars was fair. I just can't give 5 stars for this visit. If I go back here, hopefully things will go a tad smoother. read more

My wife took our car in for an inspection to be able to get our plates renewed. They came back and said that the car failed and that it needed a serpentine belt because it was frayed on the side. They gave her an estimate for the repair of 450.78. They said it didn't have a belt tensioner but that is not true it does have one. They also said it's a 1.3 hour job (I did it my self in 30 minutes). The belt cost 230.28 yes two hundred thirty dollars and twenty eight cents. wtf I bought the most expensive belt when I did the job myself and the belt was 28.00. This place is totally ripping people off and I will never be back there ever again. What a joke. read more

I was sent there by the clerk at Auto Zone because he was able to change out my front headlight bulb . He gave the managers business card at express oil change and said to ask for Bianca Elizondo . He said it shouldn't cost to much to replace the bulb. When I got to Express Oil Change and told the manager that Jason at Auto Zone had recommended her and that I just needed my bulb replaced. Bianca Elizondo the manager of the establishment ask which side of the car was it on I told her the driver side . She said the labor would be about $80-$100 to change it . I said never mind I only paid $20 for the bulb. So I went home and my husband got it changed in less then 10 minutes and he is not an expert on cars . I was so upset that both Jason at Auto Zone and Bianca Elizondo at Express Oil Change were trying to take advantage of women that knows nothing about cars ! My wife went to this location yesterday to get a state inspection on her car. When she brought me the bill it was for 85.00 and there was NO inspection done. They told her she needed an oil change new filter and rotors and brakes! Talk about taking advantage of a older woman! I returned today to inquire about why she didn't get the service requested and had services done she didn't need. Well the "manager" a young woman was quite condescending and confrontational when I asked about it. Then waved her hand in my face and walked off. I know customer service is dead in today's society but I have never been treated so rudely. This place is a RIP OFF AND WILL TRY TO BILL YOU FOR UNNEEDED REPAIRS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

I always encounter courteous and attentive staff at every visit no matter who is on for the day. I never feel pressured to make any purchases or decisions unless absolutely necessary. I've never scheduled an appointment but usually am serviced within minutes and duration of service is well communicated. read more

I came here on a Saturday morning around 11 am. Only about a 10 minute wait to get started. They were absolutely amazing. I had been taking my car previously to quick lane and the wait just to get the car in was 1 hour and a half and another hour for them to do the oil change. Here I was in and out in 30 minutes and the staff was so friendly! They offered water, coffee, and donuts while I was sitting in my car just waiting. They were super fast and reasonably priced. I was paying more where I was going before and the customer service here is so much better and they are extremely fast! Will definitely be back!! read more

My car a/c had a very slow Freon leak. I was billed over $1000.00 to "fix" the a/c leak. Took the car home with a working a/c. The next day the a/c was blowing hot air. Took it back and was told there was no Freon. Obviously the leak was not fixed. They attempted to find the leak but were unable to find one. They recharged the a/c. Then the manager proceeded to say my vehicle had a coolant leak. I was very hesitant to believe this as I am familiar with most mechanical issues. I went to pick up my vehicle and asked to speak with the mechanic that worked on my car who was unavailable. I then asked to speak with the manager or assistant manager and was told they were too busy. I paid over 1000.00 dollars to fix a slow Freon leak and it was not fixed. I gave them another chance to fix it and they were unable to. On top of that I was given a false diagnosis of a coolant leak. Paid over 1000.00 for nothing. A year ago this was a decent shop. I am assuming they have recently changed management. They obviously don't know what they're talking about. I wouldn't take my car here for a simple oil change. Stay away from this place. read more

I had the unpleasant experience today of dealing with an employee named Gonzalo. I had a oil change coupon and a tire rotation and balance coupon. He let me use my oil change coupon and then told me they rotated my tires and did NOT balance them. We went back and forth talking about this being ridiculous. I ended up paying around $90 for the service. When I asked how much the balance was he said it would have been $180 with the balance??? $100 to balance tires?? Sounds legit... WHO rotates tires without balancing them? Apparently they do here. I asked at this point to speak to a manager and he said WHY? WHY? Because I want to that's WHY. He said I didn't need to speak to a manager and gave me the total. TERRIBLE customer service. I have been here several times before without a problem. Now I will not go back. A couple weeks ago I came to this location to get a basic oil change done and was charge for a full synthetic oil change, they replace the air filter without my knowledge and charge me for that. When I questioned the guy that had brought me my statement I told him that I did not get the full synthetic oil changed and I did not approve for the air filter to be changed. And he told me, "that's not my problem this is what the work order says pay your balance or actions will be taken." I have reached out to this location to try to speak to the manager multiple times have not received a call back or any updated information I submitted a inquiry to the corporate office they told me that the general manager of that location would reach out to me and they have not done so yet. I have been trying to give them time to correct their mistake they are refusing to acknowledge that a mistake was made refusing to contact me back and now I see that this company is nothing but a bunch of crooked rude people. Save your time and your money go down the street to Saddlebrook car wash get a oil change and a full detail on your car for half the price that they charge me for a full synthetic oil change. read more
