This is literally a brand new car, by the way, we had just got it. We wanted to be cleaned a couple of weeks in after buying it, especially because of all the pollen we have here. We decided to give the new vehicle in our life the luxury experience and have it detailed, but apparently it was anything but luxury. We'll be right in a rush, so my husband had them quickly put some air fresheners in and had to rush off. But I'm very disappointed that we had to pay for what would have been a month worth of car washes anywhere else for such a subpar job.

I showed up stressed out after dealing with an oil pressure issue overnight on my Ram 1500. I got there right at 7:30 when they opened, and before I could even finish parking, a guy named Elijah comes walking straight out with a smile, like he's been waiting for me all morning. I told him what was going on, oil pressure all over the place, worried it was something serious, and he just said, "Don't worry, man. We'll take care of you." And he actually meant it. No corporate script, no fake friendliness, just a guy who clearly knows cars and actually gives a damn. He walked me through everything, what oil they use, why they use it, what filter they were putting on, even checked my air filter and fluids without once trying to upsell me like every other oil place on earth. (You know the kind, the ones who act like your transmission's about to explode if you don't buy their $79.99 "Performance Package.") Not here. Elijah showed me my air filter, topped off my coolant and wiper fluid, and didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary. In fact, he was so genuine that when he mentioned wiper blades, which I actually needed, I bought them without hesitation. That's how you know a guy's honest, when you want to spend money with him. The shop itself is small from the outside, but don't let that fool you, they've got serious equipment and even better attitudes. It's clean, organized, and clearly run by people who take pride in what they do. I'm not even from Houston (I'm up in Dallas), but after this experience, I might just start timing my oil changes for when I'm down here on business. Seriously. I was going to go to Take 5 down the street, but the reviews there read like a horror story, people claiming they didn't even change the oil, just topped it off. Dodged a bullet. Elijah, man, you crushed it. You made what's usually a chore feel like catching up with a friend who happens to be really good at cars. You deserve a raise, a trophy, and possibly your own Netflix show called "The Oil Whisperer." So yeah, if you're anywhere near Houston, skip the chain shops and go to Costa Oil. Ask for Elijah. I had my check…read moreengine light pop on, stopped by Auto Zone to have it scanned and it told me the issue was my VVT Solenoid. This was for a 2016 Santa Fe Limited. I called Hyundai, 3 week wait just to get an analysis, a couple other places gave me 5-7 days before they could analyze it and told me it would be north of $400 to fix (minimum). Then I talked to Tyler at Christian Brothers. He was willing to set up a time to check out the SUV but he also asked me a couple questions. He told me the Hyundai was known to be an internal oil burner and asked when I had my last oil change. Ironically, it was a little overdue but no warnings or anything. He said if it was a little low it could set off that solenoid issue and he advised me to get a good oil change, drive the vehicle a couple of days and see if it resets itself. If not, they would be happy to look at it. Guess what? He was 100% accurate. I changed the oil, the check engine light went off. I even had the vehicle scanned again to check and there was no code error. Imagine that, a company giving sound advice to help you and not keeping their knowledge for profit. Thanks Tyler for being inquisitive, helpful and saving me an expense that would have been unnecessary. That customer care alone made me a loyal customer.

Upon returning Tristan escorted me to the waiting area & pointed out there was ice water & coffee there for me. Me & another gentleman talked briefly about how professional he was & about how they treated us like they really wanted our business. They were quick! Another man then escorted me to my car & had the door open & waiting for me. I've never had a Valet be that great. This is two years in a row they have done business like this.
