Hello my experience was not Good at all in the beginning it was basic I needed oil change and tire rotation. From the beginning the oil attendant forgot to rotate my tires and he just did my oil change until i reminded him; to do tire rotation because I had 15hr road trip. So I left for my trip and after 4hrs. I notice my vehicle was losing power and car was hesitating,and metallic sound coming from my engine. I inspected it, and oil was all over the front of engine;immediately I knew it was oil filter. This happened around 2am had get hotel. Next morning went Valvoline station in Cleveland Tennessee they confirmed it was oil filter not tightened at all. After they corrected it my car ran fineThe only Good thing happened when they (Express oil) repaid me back because I had receipt from Valvoline station confirming my oil filter was not put in correctly. read more

I've been traveling across the US in my 2018 Ram Promaster chassis RV and was due for an oil change. I looked at the online reviews and although I was not familiar with Express Oil Change chain, I chose to go to this location based on their great reviews, 13'6" bays and underground pits. Everyone was very friendly and Brian quickly and efficiently managed my oil change and did a check of engine fluids, vehicle lights and tire pressure. I LOVE this place!! I've gone here for an oil change every time and I've always had the best service. This weekend my car died in a parking lot and they said I could bring it over and they'll replace the battery. Even though there was a bit of a wait they were able to test my battery, replace it, and give me an oil change in less than an hour. If you've had service done with them in the past they'll even put air in your tires for free! If you've never been here before, all you need to do is pull up to 1 of their 3 garages. Someone should come up to you and ask you what you need done, and point you to the appropriate garage to pull into. If you're getting an oil change you can stay in your car, which is awesome!! Started going here after spending 3+ hours in a local dealership waiting on an oil change (multiple times.) They get me in and out quickly, the crew is professional and operation is clearly well managed. They pointed out that my rear brake rotors/pads were ready to be replaced, even took me back to show the level of wear so I had them knock that out with the oil change and and was still in and out in maybe an hour. As far as this level of maintenance, I'd recommend these guys to anyone. read more

My daughter in law called the Centerville location because her car battery light and brake light came on and her car died and would not restart. Even after trying to jumpstart it would not crank, the gentleman on the phone stated that's your alternator. She asked if they fixed them there and he said yes. She had to have the vehicle towed to the location and it was right at closing time. The called the next day and said that the alternator needed to be replaced and told her a price of $520.00 and some change she also mentioned she needed her oil changed as well. This is the place she used for her previous oil change. They also charged an additional fee for the oil change at full price no discount for multiple service. Within a couple of weeks the same thing happened, the battery died and could not be charged, replaced battery. Battery died again, they found it was a bad alternator... replaced the alternator. Now a few months later and same thing and so took it to Rafield and they say it's a bad alternator. Do we take it back and receive a third bad alternator or have it replaced at Rafield and have your company reimburse us. This is ridiculous and your company is not worth your pricing! Its only been 5 months! **Update, returned to your location for assistance in the problem only to be met with questions of how much are we willing to allow them to charge for resolution to the problem before calling for permission to add services to fix the problem!!! I was taken aback by this as the alternator is only 5 months old. I would think you wouldn't be charging anything at all! Now today they say they can't find anything wrong and can't resolve our problem!!!!! Rafield down the street stated it is a bad diode in the alternator because the car does not maintain a charge when not in use. Your company has left the problem unresolved and suggested we now take it to the Nissan dealership for them to figure it out! The problem is this is the same thing it was doing before being told by your company that it was a bad alternator!! It seems we were lied to them and tricked into purchasing a needless new alternator that has already "been replaced" once by your company for the same problem!!!! We have been taken for over $600 on a School Lunchroom Attendant salary!!!!! read more

Dropped in today to get the automobile travel worthy for our drive back to Texas. This was my first experience of a "drive thru" oil change. I was kindly directed into the bay and told to remain in my car. Next thing i know, two guys are on either side of my vehicle cleaning the windshield and head lights, and from there they checked the tire pressure. Then another guy appears at my window and hands me a clipboard to collect all of my data. He then asks me to "pop the hood" and begins the oil change process. 15 minutes later, he's back at my window asking me to test my headlights, brake lights, horn, and wipers. He goes back to the computer, prints me a recommended service sheet, but does not haggle or pressure me into purchasing. He then gives me my invoice, which included a 5$ welcome new customer discount, and a free car wash voucher. Super polite and kind workers! Initially i thought the fee was overpriced(38.99), but the convenience of not having to get out with "that one" and wait for an hour+ like i do at the dealership, was WELL WORTH IT....PLUS i got a car wash and vacuum!! read more

What started out as stressful issues with my truck, making it necessary to be fixed before it could be driven further and potentially ruining my already busy day and upcoming trip ended with being completely taken care of, above and beyond what was required. These guys are FAST! So fast, that I tried to draft a review while getting my oil changed, but... I didn't have enough time. I would love to leave a long review, pointing out all of their great qualities, but the simple fact is... I didn't have enough time. It would be silly to write a review that takes longer to read than it does for them to change my oil, so here goes.... I pulled into the bay, gave them my info, and seven (YES, SEVEN!!!) minutes later I was pulling out. Finished. They took care of everything... faster than I could have even thought of draining the oil pan myself. Well worth what they charge. Sure, it may be two or three bucks higher than their competitors....but you get some good ol' southern hospitality, with service to match. I never even had to exit the vehicle! I never write reviews. Ever. My wife says I should, yet I still do not. For this place - I must write one. I have never been to an establishment where EVERY SINGLE VISIT I get the best customer service I have ever experienced as well as receiving the service/product I paid my hard earned money for. From the friendly staff, to the mechanic named "Joe" that should win the Nobel prize for changing oil (as well as always hooking me up with some brand new, sweet wiper blades)- this establishment is the true embodiment of what every other express lube should be. Meaning: ALL other oil change businesses. It is the archetype for what good, square service is and does. I don't think I've ever had a more pleasant experience getting my oil changed and alignment. They explained to me the different between regular and synthetic oil to where I could understand it. Not only that I asked about a tail light I had out that autozone couldn't figure out what type of bulb belong there. He told me don't worry they'll look at it. When my alignment was done he went ahead and replaced it for me. This was a hugggeeee release for me. Especially since I was driving to dallas soon. Incredibly friendly and fast service. I've had them do everything from a basic oil change to $800 worth of service for a blown water pump and bad belts. They even handled the warranty hassle for me. They made the call, got what was covered and broke it down for me line by line. They were able to give me an oil change, rotate my tires, clean and inspect my brakes, test my cooling system, flush the system, replace a bad water pump, and replace damaged belts all on the same trip in about 3 hours. I couldn't believe it! Everyone here is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I've never been pressured to buy or fix anything. Stopped by to have my rear brakes and pads replaced and was immediately greeted by Ryan. I told Ryan what was going on with my car and explain that I was trying to find a cheaper place vs. paying dealership prices. Ryan told me that he wanted to drive my car to check it out for himself because he didn't want me to pay for something I didn't need done. After taking the tires off he discovered that I also needed front brakes too. Ryan was very professional and kept me informed on everything that was being done to my car. these people will take advantage of you if you are having more than an oil change done! do not go there for any mechanical work what so ever!!!! they are liars, and only out for the money. they put my sons life in danger after working on brakes and caliper. they reused a bolt that was not supposed to be in there and left off two mounting bolts as well. the mechanics that worked on his vehicle left his brake line loose. when confronted about the issue, i was meet with hostility and the manager pointing his finger in my face! bad customer service!!!!! :( read more
