The team at Express Pet Spa are wonderful. We have used them for multiple dogs since they opened over the years. They care for your pet like their own and Let you know if there is a health problem you might have missed. My husband was diagnosed with cancer and eventually passed away. I moved to Seabrook approximately 3 years ago & found them. They've always done a good job on my Maltese & she used to be ready in a timely manner. Then they moved & it was even more convenient. I'd drop my dog off by 8am & i told them I'd be back no later than 6pm & they said that was fine due to it was on a day i was working . However upon arriving 2 different times i had to wait approximately 45 min to an hour . I was understanding about it although i didn't care for it. I felt after my dog had been there since 8am she should have been done . I considered myself a loyal customer. One day my neighbor had taken her dog there & i was told by neighbor without informing her they charged her $80.00. Upon my dogs next appt i mentioned it briefly to them & since then they said they are all booked up till March & this was in January & that they have their regular customers ( i was a regular customer ). Plus they told me my dog doesn't stand well . As long as I've had my fur baby & mind you she is approx 13 years I've never been told anything to the negative side , however i personally feel you need to take dogs age into consideration. I've called several times even trying to get my dog an appointment in March & they don't answer their phone for me. This is a business & i feel you should answer your ph no matter what. I never had an issue with Express pet Spa , but i certainly don't appreciate the way they've just brushed me aside. Had i been mean or ugly i could see them not wanting to respond but this is not the case. I've never written a review before but this experience has bothered me . read more

I took my cat to get groomed here and it was honestly unprofessional and inconvenient. I was told they closed at 5, and had to call and ask what was happening as nobody reached out to let me know they were keeping my cat longer than 5pm. Told me they only accept cash or check at the last minute when i was supposed to pick her up. Good thing i already had cash on me or i would've had to run and get some. Didn't give me any receipt. I have no idea what they charged me for because they couldn't do the cut i had asked for. Didn't brush her. Terrible experience read more

This place honestly does a great job grooming my dogs. I acknowledge our larger dog is really finicky if you touch his paws, and many groomers have nicked his paw pads over the years. Express Pet spa has groomed him twice and had no issues, which is probably a record even though he's 4 years old. That said, I've had a few, albeit minor, issues with the service that I do think could be easily addressed, which is why I'll keep coming back. On the first visit, they were understaffed and my dogs were there for over 10 hours. We dropped them off first thing in the morning when they opened and at 6 PM they were just started getting groomed. This could be looked at in multiple ways, as far as I was concerned our dogs weren't about to go to a dog show and I'd rather have rescheduled, but they are so professional about it they worked themselves until the evening just to get all their clients treated. Their work ethic is admirable but if they had communicated we could have rescheduled and all started our weekend earlier. The second time the price of the groom was higher than expected with no explanation. There might be some factors we don't know about that caused it to be so high, and we'll make sure to ask up front next time what pricing to expect. All in all I think the two "issues" we've had with them could be easily avoided, and I do think they are really great groomers who deserve all the business they have. read more

First they were very hesitant about even making me an appt, then when I asked about mobile grooming she said no we don't do mobile grooming, which is fine with me. Before I could set up an appt she hung up. So very rude. Guess they are not interested in any more business. read more

I have a pyrenees/lab mix dog. I've taken her to Express several years ago, with no problems at all. However, this time was a very bad experience. My dog has cushing's disease. She had not been groomed in a year because of this. I asked for a number 5 cut which is a fluffy fuller cut. While at another appointment, I get a message that they had to take it down to the shortest cut and she now has some raw spots around her privates and they suggested I take her to the vet. Left my appointment, picked her up and went to the vet. They cut her so short that she was raw and bleeding. The vet put her on the strongest antibiotic available ($107 for 7 pills). That was last Friday. Today, she is back at the vet because she is not eating, drinking or going to the bathroom. She is now on Tramadol for the pain and comfort spray and antibiotics. No one asked my permission to cut her this short. I spoke to the groomer once all was said and done. $140 for the grooming, and another $300 at the vet so far and it hasn't even been a week. I was told that the sores were already there under the fur. NOT TRUE. Otherwise, my dog would not have been eating, drinking, sleeping or going to the bathroom like what is happening now. I don't know if they have changed their staff in the past few years but I am VERY unhappy with their service and would not recommend!~ read more

We have been using Stacy and crew at Express Pet for years with our mini - schnauzers ! They do a great job and we have never had any issues . We also utilize their pet boarding and never been disappointed . We actually feel safe to go out of town and leave her there . Our fur babies always look and smell good , they enjoy going and the staff there know them by name as well . Thanks Stacy and crew ! We moved from Seabrook bit still continue to use them . We take our 4 legged kids here & they always do a fantastic job & go out of their way to make them feel safe as they are not fans of the grooming process. I recommend them to all my friends & family because I have yet to find a better place. The staff is friendly & you get that they really care about your dogs. They pre-schedule us, know us & our dogs by name & call to remind us so we don't let too much time slip by between groomings. read more
