On Mother's Day I had stopped at Expressions Florist, to run in and pick up a card. I didn't think I had enough time to pick out flowers. The tulips were so pretty. When the young lady saw I only had a card in my hand, she asked if I was ready and I said yes. A quick conversation about tulips and before I knew it they were wrapped and going out the door with me. It couldn't have taken the girls much more than two minutes to pick out, wrap up and put a bow on them. WOW! I can't thank you enough. Have only used this florist for corsages and boutonnières for the kids dances. The offer the magnet fasteners for the boutonnière which is awesome since it's always a pain to pin them and to keep them straight. The magnets are way to go for an extra 3-5$. I decided to try this place out because my son was attending Homecoming. It was a last minute decision so I was trying to find a florist with a great rating. Upon arrival, the workers greeted us and asked what they could do for us. They already knew which school it was for which I thought was pretty cool. The process was easy during selection. They have a printout of the choices you can order that includes photos, so you know what you are purchasing. Prices were great too. We ended up ordering a white one white rose with a black sparking ribbon wrapped around it. Looked great. Upon pickup, the corsage was ready and we were delighted with how it looked. Love this florist. This is the first time i've used them and will be back. I saw them recommended on our community pages. Around here, many tend to go to the same florists for their boutonnières and corsages. I'm always on the lookout for something a little different. I did pay extra for the two twigs of bling and overall the corsage was still reasonable. The customer service was amazing and felt very family owned...which makes me even happier to support. I walked in yesterday to buy some flowers for my wife. They had a decent selection of flowers available, however I commented to the young lady that was helping me, that I thought they were priced rather high. The girl helping me "said" that their flowers are really fresh etc. I ended up making the purchase of some Gerber Daisies, as they are my wife's favorite flower. Hence my problem, less than 24 hours after my purchase, the flowers are already wilting. I would expect that they last a lot longer compared to the price that I paid. ($35 plus for 4 Daisies) Pictures below are 3 days after purchase. Luckily I added the Yellow flowers to the Pink ones... Otherwise it would have been a total waste of money. I never learn...it was Mother's Day and once again I was looking for a flower arrangement at the last minute....Luckily I found this place near where I live and they had arrangements available! It was super busy but luckily I found a set of flowers I'm a vase that was moderately priced. I don't know much about flowers but the set I got seemed to look colorful and fresh! They were even open on Mother's day until 4 pm! There is one tall lady with dark hair who is helpful and will pick flower arrangements walking back and forth with what you ask, while the same time working the cash register. There is another lady that seemed to be flustered with the numerous customers but was doing her best! I hope I learn from this year to buy flowers early...but I probably won't...nice... read more

I was so pleased with my mom's flowers! I asked the girl to only have certain flowers for my mom's birthday. Some of the fragrances of certain flowers really bother her. She was really helpful. I want to start by thanking Sarah from Expressions Florist. She took care of us in a very desperate situation. Here is a bit of a background. We had ordered a Standup Spray for a Co-Worker that passed. We ordered this from Flowers by Nora. This was the biggest mistake. We had asked them for a specific arrangement to be delivered at 9:00 am. We had to call them to find out why they had not delivered the arrangement and come to find out. They did not even have any flowers to start the arrangement. This put us in a very tight situation as we only had 1 hr to complete and deliver the arrangement. I called Expressions Florist, and Sarah answered. I explained our situation, and she immediately started to assist and help us. She had a lot of empathy and understanding. I sent her a picture of what we wanted, and she did 100 % better than we expected. By the way, she completed the Standing Spray in a record time. She delivered the arrangement in 45 minutes and on time for the service. The cost was reasonable as well. If she would not have done this? There would not have been any flowers in the service. And both times I've been met with icy service, it's almost as if they're annoyed that I'm there and they want me to hurry up and leave. And maybe I've just been shopping in the Trader Joe's floral department for too long but they are very expensive. They charged me $10 for two Lilly stems and less than impressive filler flowers. I was making some cute vases with flower arrangements for all the moms in my family for Mother's Day and needed some fresh cut flowers.... stopped in here when passing by on my way home from someplace on the day before Mother's Day. This place was pretty darn busy but all the staff was happy to help, smiles on their faces and completely organized and helpful! Obviously it was a crazy day for them, but they were eager to help me and seemed happy to please. My flowers were fresh and stayed nice. The young girl helping me even gave me advice to keep them fresh for overnight and seemed genuinely curious to see my final outcome and asked me to post pictures on their Facebook page! I've only stopped in this one time but it was on a hugely crazy day and it would seem that their true colors would shine through... and I am happy to report that they seem like a well run (colorful and nicely smelling) machine and I will definitely go back to pick up flowers, bouquets and/or arrangements from this florist if I'm ever in the need again! Walked in to purchase a bouquet and they were able to make it on the spot. I had requested certain flowers (ranunculas/dahlias/peonies) and the girl working said she didn't know what those types of flowers were, so -1 star for that. My mother went in two weeks before our event to schedule a pick up for our flower arrangement. She went in at the scheduled time to find they were not started. After waiting another hour after the scheduled pickup, she received them and was extremely disappointed in not only the quality of flowers, but arrangement itself. Not only were some of the flowers already browning, but the requests were not satisfied. These were for a celebration of life in which we hoped for special flowers to be draping off a coffee can that meant a lot to our family for the service. According the the florist a special variety of flower was ordered to account for this vision. Upon inspection only four stems in the entire arrangement were of the draping flowers. Needles to say her vision was not fulfilled. She was belittled by the florist which is when she came back to our house and informed me of the situation. I went back to the shop and realized why my mom was in the state she was in as the florist was rude and had no respect for our time or plans. All they could offer was a 20% discount for the awful morning we endured. I would not recommended for any special event as they do not care for you or your event only the money you are giving them. read more

I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to Whittier for. My daughters birthday. I was charged $97.00 total. My daughter sent me a picture with a thank you. I paid almost $100.00 for a few cut mum's stuffed into a plain glass vase. It was appalling. It wasn't even fresh flowers. I called and complained. Nothing.
