This place is a rip off... They kept the car for 90 days and broke more than they fixed. They are very unprofessional and they lie. They call the car had prior damage but that is a lie. I will be reporting them to the BBB and any other agency because from reviews this is a pattern. They thought my daughter was going to just accept it. Another Fairbanks business that will take advantage of your misfortune as they are able. had a truck breakdown on the highway on a Saturday in the shop was the only shop that truck take it there. Secretary scheduled me for a Tuesday, however didn't hear anything until Thursday evening where they sent me the codes that I had already pulled off with my code reader. Friday morning, I get a message that I will be charged extra due to liquid melting back of my truck. Well after a $400 bill $260 tow bill to get the truck to this location and then another $200 bill to get it towed to another shop. I'm into this over $800 for them to pull a couple computer codes off of my truck that already done. I recommend going to Pearson's auto or gas and diesel doctor if you're in the Fairbanks area. read more

My buddy got a flat while on the highway on our road trip and we were running out of air quickly! We pulled off the highway around 7:30 just hoping someone was there before they opened. Don came out, gave us some air and when we realized we were going to need a new tire, helped us swap the spare on! We are so grateful that he was there and really embraced the "Good Samaritan" trait and showed great hospitality by helping us change the spare and pointed us in the right direction, all before they were even open! My buddy said he needs new brakes soon and will definitely be reaching out to get that scheduled. Highly recommend! read more

This isn't so much a review about there service since I've never been to there shop. It more about the availability, every time I call to bring my truck in for service they are booked out for weeks. This last time I booked online for an alignment check which stated that they had availability. But I called to confirm and I get told they can't look at my truck for three weeks. That being said this is why dont even attempt to book service with them even though I live right across the highway from them. read more

Surprisingly super-bad experience today. I Bought four brand new tires at Walmart and brought them to Alyeska around noon. This was the first time I had ever been there and I have heard fantastic things about this place. They were busy but asked me to drop it off at 3pm. I dropped it and went home.. they called me at 430 to tell me it was done. Called again at 5 to tell me the same. And called again close to 6pm as I my ride was pulling into their lot. I got out to take a look, since the tread was looking pretty bad on my older tires. The tread was the same, the tires were the same , and the work had not been done. The assistant manager was extremely confused and told me they would put them in while I waited. The whole point of me dropping the car off was so I wouldn't have to sit and wait. I had a tire going low on our bus. I pulled in and a guy in the front office jumped up grabbed some tools and got right to it. Very simple 2 minute fix. He wouldn't take any payment and wished us the best. An attitude and service like that has to run through the whole place. read more

Called this morning to see about getting my alternator changed. They were able to get me in this afternoon. Was very polite and on time. Planned on killing time doing my laundry, however when i got there I realized you cant actually walk to the laundry mat. The guy at the front desk had someone drive me to the laundry and pick me up when i was finished. After getting back to the office the staff were very friendly while i waited on my truck to get done. They have free water and coffee while you wait. Called a couple of other places and they were the cheapest around. read more

These guys are awesome. Needed rear brakes done on my Expedition. Until now I have been using back yard mechanics to try to save a buck. Never again. Nobody will touch my car but Expressway. Was able to bring my vehicle in right away. They had my brakes and rotors on right away. They did a 56 point inspection at no extra cost and they even put a couple of quarts into my aging beast at no additional charge. Their shop looks so put together and clean. They have a super nice waiting area with free refreshments. Offered me shuttle service on my next repair job. Oh and they were cheaper than my back yard mechanic! They stand behind their work. Oh and they also told me that they have on the hour oil changes while you wait. This place was quite a find! Happy to do business with these guys! read more

They tried to charge us 3x what the job should have cost. When my husband called him out, the guy asked if my husband was military. He is Air Force, so he said yes. Best experience I've had getting an oil change. They were able to get me a same-day appointment, they took my car in AT the time of the appointment and the staff was super friendly and professional. Clean shop, coffee, drinks and snacks while you wait. Prices are very reasonable and they even offer a rewards program! Will definitely be taking my car here from now on. read more

As an update to my previous post, after much hesitation and arguing with their service manager Allen, and finally speaking to the owner, they agreed to replace my drain plug and the fitting that it goes in to at no charge. I appreciate that a resolution happened. read more

I have always had trouble getting my F-150 to shift between 2 and 4-wheel drive. I just dealt with it until earlier this week when I was stuck in a ditch and couldn't get my low gear to engage. My neighbor with his GMC and my-truck-is-better-in-every-way attitude was kind enough to pull me out. Never again! I was able to make a next-day appointment with Expressway Auto to have it looked at. Now, I've always been jealous when people talk about having "a guy" for auto repair. Until today, I've never had one. But now Chuck is my guy. Chuck is a little guy (good for fitting under vehicles on lifts) with a barrel chest surrounding a heart of gold. Chuck brought me back and not only explained how he improved my shifting problem, but also walked me through three other issues that were relatively minor fixes that will prevent big problems later. Chuck won me over heart and soul. He is welcome at my house for dinner, he can watch my puppy when I'm out of town, I'll even take him hunting. This guy is that awesome. He has my business for as long as the Army keeps us in Alaska. read more
