First, Joe recommended only the most critical repairs and gave me a tentative timeline of when other repairs may be needed. I'd be driving across the country and he made sure I was traveling in a safe vehicle. When I arrived out west in the scorching heat, my engine light went on. I took it to the local Scottsdale dealer on Camelback and they gave me a long list of critical repairs over $3500! They made it sound like my car would drop out from under me if I didn't have the repairs done. I called Joe. He disagreed with the assessment and spoke directly with the Scottsdale dealer. He is amazing. I took the car to a very reputable repair shop that my cousin has worked with for years, IMM Auto in Tempe. Cost for the actual critical repairs, plus a repair that would be needed by next summer, under $1000. My 4Runner is running great! I wish there was a Kenny Kent in every city that I could go to. I trust not only Joe Fredrich, but also the Kenny Kent dealership.

At 82,000 miles I am told that I need a $700 brake rotar replacement. The pads show indication of normal wear, I was told rotars can't be turned due to 'damage'. No indication of brake trouble in any of their phony reports. They would not stand behind their own documentation, which was bogus as they showed my break pads thickening over time instead of showing wear. I should only have had to pay for brake pad replacement if they did an honest job. They caused the damage by taking money for phony inspections. They lied to my face and blamed it on my driving habits. I am 68 and have never locked up the brakes in the 6 years of ownership. They are not trustworthy and refuse to own their mistakes. I will drive to the next closet dealer for maintenance. Go some where else!

We made a deal for $12,000. He knew I was coming but the morning I got there he told me he sold the car the night before. Then tried to sell me a more expensive car that just happened to be parked right out front. I was more mad I spent $100 on a rental car because I planned on dropping it off and driving the car back. When I asked him why he let me drive all the way there and didn't bother texting me he sold the car, he lied and said he called and left a voice mail. I knew this was a lie and I called him out on it. The owner, if he really was the owner, came out and tried to help him sell his lie. They said they record every call in and out and could play me the recording. I said okay. They kept trying to sell me more expensive cars and after awhile I asked them if they found the recording and of course they said they couldn't find it. They then said they would send me a check for the $100 I was out on a rental car but I still haven't seen it. Also John sent me a text just before 6 p.m. the night before saying they'd be open 9-6 the next day. By the time he sent that text the car was already sold and he knew it. Everybody knows cars salesmen are lying con men, but the ones at Kenny Kent give the rest an even worse name. Whether you buy a car from them or not just be careful, they will say anything to get you to buy and after that they couldn't care less about you.

Called a sales manager (Chris) whom offered to do a couple hundred of the price increase but doesn't see how the dealership made any mistake / wrong doing. When I explained that it feels more like a bait and switch after numbers were agreed upon, he escalated his voice saying I was being unreasonable. Unfortunately he did not care if his GM (Ed whom he said was sitting next to him) received an email from me. As such I am posting my experience for others so you can be informed when buying a vehicle here. Just because it's agreed upon and in writing, doesn't mean they will honor it.

I purchased a practically brand new 24' IS500 with only 850 miles on it, L/Certified. I asked for a video of the vehicle and was provided a very thorough walk around. With such low miles, I did put a lot of trust into Kenny Kent Lexus by not having a PPI completed prior to my purchase, the L/Certified gave me piece of mind along with the amazing communication by their team. We communicated primarily through text and everyone I dealt with (Michael and Noah) were always responsive and professional. There were a handful of times where I needed to chat on the phone and again, everyone was helpful, responsive and professional. The car arrived via enclosed trailer, and I used the shipping company that Michael recommended (shout out to Stratton Express) who were also amazing to deal with. This is my 4th Lexus dealership experience (and my 5th Lexus) and by far THE BEST experience I've had to date with purchasing a vehicle.
