was in transit, confirmed it was available, worked up a deal to only find that it was reserved / purchased 3 weeks prior. Human mistake but unfortunate. Decide to order the same thing from the factory but learn Jeep changed the MSRP price by 800 and With that, the dealer would no longer honor the previous negotiated deal (agreed on in writing through text). Called a sales manager (Chris) whom offered to do a couple hundred of the price increase but doesn't see how the dealership made any mistake / wrong doing. When I explained that it feels more like a bait and switch after numbers were agreed upon, he escalated his voice saying I was being unreasonable. Unfortunately he did not care if his GM (Ed whom he said was sitting next to him) received an email from me. As such I am posting my experience for others so you can be informed when buying a vehicle here. Just because it's agreed upon and in writing, doesn't mean they will honor it. read more

Had a Chrysler Fiat vehicle towed over the weekend for my son (a University student in the area) to this facility as it is listed as a Chrysler service center. Receive a call this morning stating that they don't work on Chrysler Fiat products. It's a simple break line replacement but they don't have mechanics that can warrant the work so they refuse to do it. On top of having to pay another 85.00 tow bill to relocate it to another facility, when I mentioned I would complain to Chrysler corporation, Josh the "manager" condescendingly asked if I needed the complaint number. No empathy shown and when I asked why they are listed on their own website as a Chrysler service center they only offered excuses. Avoid this dealership and service department! read more

He was never pushy or impatient while I took my time inspecting and test driving the vehicle. He was straightforward and pleasant throughout the entire interaction and even followed up after the purchase was completed. I purchased a vehicle in August 2024 and 3 months and 2 car payments later the car's timing chain went out when i tried to speak with someone at the dealership no one was willing to work with me at all. After leaving several messages i finally spoke with the salesman who wasnt willing to come up with any solution at all. The way these guys operated and closed the deal with me was horrible. if I didn't need the vehicle I would have just started over with the process & bought somewhere else. my salesman I had to chase for an answer for 4 days to figure out if I got approved for a loan. on top of that after I traded in 2 vehicles these morons didnt do their due diligence to make sure the payoffs were still correct. instead the send me a letter after having the vehicle for 2 1/2 weeks that I need to pay MORE money towards the deal to cover the difference in the trade in vehicles or else they weren't going to work on the title. We enjoyed our buying experience at Expressway and had bought several cars from them in the past. Then, on February 1st I went to drop our Jeep Cherokee off for recalls and a free oil change and tire rotation. I parked the Jeep and walked in to drop my keys off. An older big and tall gentlemen turned and asked how he could help (this is in the drive through portion of the service building), I stated I was just dropping off my car. He replied, in a short manner, that all vehicles must be driven inside where we were. Then he turned his back on me. I turned to get my Jeep, but the way he said it and acted was very rude. When I pulled the car back inside I told him what I thought of his previous comment, it was rude. He turned and looked at another guy and said, Did I say anything wrong? The other guy looked down to the ground and said nothing. Rude guy said for 6 years everyone brings their cars inside and why didn't I get with the program. There are no signs stating this, and I had never been asked to do this in the past. Things escalated verbally before I could get inside the building. One of the old men telling me they would kick my ass and to shut the Fxxx up. THEN they say our Jeep was not down for recalls. I was told the first rude guy was just that way, I asked why he was in a customer service position? That wasn't answered. Some young guy came out and said I don't think we want to service your vehicle. I said, but I bought it here. He then said, I don't care, I heard you yelling. I walked over to him and said let me tell you what happened. He screamed NO, you listen to me! I am a veteran with PTSD from combat service in the first Gulf War. I have issues, so I stay at home and work from home to avoid what I call "stupid people" (Those that do not care about anyone but themselves). I know I have trigger's that others can easily trip, so I stay at home. I honestly don't leave unless we are visiting family. I wrote an email to Expressway telling my side of the story. As of February 12th, today. I have not heard a word from them. If I can find another dealership locally, I will NEVER return to Expressway. By the way, I had a Veterans Affairs appointment today and I found out at least 3 other veterans from the Evansville area have had just about the same experience at Expressway. The most happy and miserable instances in life occur simultaneously while purchasing an auto. I have purchased several cars through various dealers, but most recently I acquired my third vehicle, a new Ram Sport, through this Indiana Dodge dealer. In my opinion, the level of service I get seems to decline with each auto purchase. For the most part, they are fairly easy to deal with; if you play hard to get, better deals will come, as with any dealer. If you start heading for the door, especially toward the end of the month, a hundred dollars here and a hundred dollars there will be offered up. This purchase went fairly smoothly, minus a discrepancy of $1500, which I discovered three hours into the process and basically had the choice to either walk away or say "Fuck It, I'll remember this shit on the next go-round" since I tend to purchase a new auto about every five years or so - if I return to this dealership at all. It came down to a "my word against yours," and "what was meant and what was understood being two different things," so, I swallowed my irritation and pressed on with the purchase. I opted for the paint seal, which is costly (between $800-900), but guarantees to protect the paint, especially the front end, from dead bugs. I travel a lot, and so far, they wipe away fairly well - far from the ease the promotional video promises they require you to watch during the sales process. The most irritating post-purchase discovery is that navigation is now an add on. Every vehicle I have purchased in the last 15 years has included navigation, but now it is a costly add on - $500. After speaking to several friends, this seems to be a popular racket among the auto brands. A buddy who just purchased an F150 paid around $1500, a friend with a new Toyota paid $1500, and another buddy was quoted $3000 for a new Audi. Ridiculous. If you are paying $40-60K for a vehicle, that should be part of the standard package. Without it, the elaborate in dash computer system is basically just for unnecessary show. Another irritation was I added some custom options to be installed prior to delivery. In past purchases, I received great deals (waived labor costs for service) on the addition of running boards, etc.; this time, I paid labor costs - a lot of labor costs, to have the items installed. In a separate Yelp post, I reviewed the dealership's Express Lube service department located a block away from the dealership; it is a further testament to the decline in quality of service over the last few years. The sales person walked me through the various options for my new truck and gave me a rather-long tutorial/sales pitch for the new U-Connect system, which is basically Dodge's version of On-Star. It is interesting, but too costly for the amount of service you receive. On my new truck purchase, I was contacted several days later and notified there was an error in my paperwork, so I had to arrange additional time to return and correct the dealership's errors. This delayed the ability to license my vehicle for several weeks. Like I said, not a wholly terrible experience, but far from the quality of my first auto purchase from this dealership in long-past years. If Dodge continues to put out a product that I desire - the upcoming versions of the Ram frighteningly seem very Fiat-ish in styling - I will continue to be a buyer; however, I may have to seek out another dealer who shows me a greater willingness to deal and leave me feeling as if I received the best deal possible. read more

To start off I was lied to about vehicle availability and was pressured into buying a vehicle that was out of my price range. Then they sell me an extended warranty from a company that you can hardly find any info about. Also going through the paperwork, the name of the company was never mentioned. I had to figure it out myself even after contacting the dealership twice. Once, I was able to look the warranty company up it had a 1-star rating on BBB. Very sketchy sales tactics. The service department is the only reason I do business with them, but this may change as well. They also filled my new vehicle with the wrong grade of fuel, so it ran horribly until the tank ran out. I thought something was wrong with the vehicle and tried to return 2 days later and the said that was not possible but said that they would take it on trade for 7 thousand less than purchase price. Like i said very shady and will never purchase from them again. I would not recommend this company to one of my friends or enemies. UPDATE... I went in to cancel the warranty and was confronted by one of the sales managers, Chris Schiele. He told me that he saw the review I posted and asked me to take it down. He then threatened me saying that if I didn't take it down that I couldn't cancel my warranty. Luckily the finance manager taking care of me (Miles Anderson) went ahead and cancelled the warranty. Not sure how other salesmen are at this dealership, but do not use Corey Martin. We went in simply to look at cars and test drove one challenger. He insisted that several people were trying to purchase that car so suggested we put down a deposit so they would hold it while we thought about it over the weekend. Our mistake, we should've known he was lying as the car is still sitting on the lot. But now he is saying the deposit should have already been returned and it has not. I asked to have his supervisors number and he has now stopped messaging me back. My other issue is that Corey told us he would run a soft inquiry on my boyfriends credit and it would not effect his credit score. Come to find out he ran a hard credit and then tried to tell me there is no such thing as a hard/soft inquiry. So why lie and say you are running a "soft inquiry" if that doesn't exist? He then lied and said that we said we were purchasing the car and that's why we put down the deposit and that's why he ran a hard credit inquiry so he was "just doing his job." The deposit he said initially was to hold it while we thought about and now he says that was us saying we were going to purchase the vehicle so he went ahead and ran a hard inquiry. Corey is a very deceitful salesman who tried to take advantage of two young people looking to buy a car. This was hands down the worst car sales experience ever. read more

I went to get my Jeep looked at over at their service location, 5401 East Virginia Street Evansville, IN 47715, I knew the crank shaft or cam shaft sensor probably needed to be replaced and I told them this, they said it was my fuel pump, had them install a fuel pump that I had on hand. I picked my car up and it is doing the same thing dying out of nowhere and sometimes has trouble starting. The technicians said the pump I gave them was bad, and another one needed to be installed after I just dropped almost 500 to have the fuel pump put in, I took it to another mechanic (Full Throttle Automotive) sure enough my crank shaft sensor was bad. Had I let them put another fuel pump in it would of just cost me more money and still be at square one. The shuttle guys were great, so I gave them a star for that. As far as getting your car repaired here, just be careful, they misdiagnosed my issue and it could of cost ALOT of money. read more

Told ME I could afford an $ 800.00 a month car payment after seeing my check stubs, Yet turned around and said I would need a co-signer.. $5000.00 down.. Wouldn't take my trade in (though other dealers will do an "upside down trade").. Everything he said was contradicting. I wasn't looking to buy a BMW, just a 2014 SRT Charger WITH REBATES! I have bought my last 6 vehicles from Expressway within the last 10 years. They have now lost another repeat customer now. Went and test drove a vehicle for my daughter whom will be going off to college in the fall. Was told by the salesman that they "really want to move this car." Salesman gave me a price, which for the value of the car was absurd, and immediately knocked $500 off that, while continuing to tell me they really wanted to move the car. So I gave a counter offer, and the salesman basically laughed in my face, and told me they could only do another $500 off. Evidently they didn't want to move it too bad. Financing was already secured, so I would have just brought them a check and picked up the car. As a salesman, you have one job; keep that customer engaged. Pathetic, especially considering I've spend hundreds of thousands of dollars with them in the past. They won't get another dime from me. read more

We traded in her 04 Eclipse for a 2012 Lancer & then less than a week later traded in my 08 Galant & purchased a 2012 Wrangler. Their finance department worked great on our rates that we received. My only mis hap was, I was promised a tube of the touch up for the particular color jeep & that it would be sent in the mail since I wasn't from around there. Be careful when buying here or any of the "Expressway" chain. They sold us a Tacoma TRD (with all the proper badging) and then when we went to sell after the driver's death, found out it wasn't a TRD - which is a $3000 option. It was a regular Tacoma with TRD decals. I'm not saying they put them on it but they would not even discuss reparation once this was discovered. They, in essence, said "we didn't know" and "buyer beware" and "lawyer up in you want". Car and trucks are their business - they should have known the difference and or been willing to talk once it was discovered they misrepresented the truck. I wonder what else "they didn't know about" on vehicles they sell. Extreme caution should be exercised. read more

I unfortunately made the mistake of buying a BRAND NEW Durango from here a few years ago. I should start with I am a ASE certified mechanics daughter who has been around cars her whole life. So I do understand errors and things can happen but this place has been ridiculous to deal with .....STAY AWAY! Salesman John and the credit guy (name I do not remember) were great that is literally the only good thing I can say about Expressway. Within a very very very short time I started having little issues. Which would have been ok if I had purchased a USED vehicle. But NO I just spent over $45,000 on a brand new SUV. It began having noises in the dash, and the exterior window panel cracked among a few other things Fine right simple fix.......WRONG - I live an hour away and have 2 small children with a husband that rotates schedules so getting there for warranty issues was no easy thing to do. Window trim piece that cracked, went to pick it up when they said it was done and they had replaced the wrong piece...seriously how do you replace the piece next to it that isn't cracked..... then once I received the vehicle back again the trim piece wasn't laying flush and the old man that delivered it said that all he was was the driver...great thanks for your help right...... Onto the dash noise.......4 times. yes you read that right it took 4 times for them to fix it correctly. After leaving it 2 times and it not being fixed once I picked it up, I said I will not leave it again they will do it while I wait and they agreed it took several hours they said it was all fixed....I pulled out of the parking lot and heard the noise......so back it goes again. While in the shop they popped the airbag cover panel in the dash by my knees but said they could not put it back there were no clips to re- attach it. wow......Now 2 years later the panel is sagging so much it needs replaced because tape wont hold it. They want over $500 just for the part. not including labor..........To top this off today driving down the highway the trim piece they replaced that never laid flush flew off.......guess who is not paying for it to be replaced....... Expressway..... I WILL NEVER AND I RECOMMEND ANYONE I SPEAK WITH TO NNNNEEEEEVVVVVEEEERRRRR PURCHASE A VEHICLE OR HAVE WORK DONE HERE.......WHAT A JOKE! read more

Great sales team, the work really hard to get the sale. Just watch the lot financing, they try to cram extended warranties and paint protection at enormously inflated prices when they are having you sign the deal. The Chrysler warranty was over double for the exact same thing found from a dealer advertising warranties on-line. I just purchased a new car from Expressway a little over a week ago. I think for the most part the service was great, except for our salesman. I got there at 9:00 am, and while I know things take time to process, etc., I didn't leave until almost 4:00 PM. Our salesman was very slow, in all things. He just disappeared for a long time, and then after I signed paperwork, he started with another customer before I had even gotten my keys. Everyone else was great to work with, and I love my car, so it's all good in the end. read more

As I stroll through the reviews and see several with a positive experience, I can't help but to get more frustrated at the experience I have had since I purchased my vehicle on 11/27. So Nick Nalley assisted me with my purchase as I felt like I made my list of needs pretty simple. One being to have XM satellite access. Fast forward to when I test drove the vehicle, I asked about the access and was told that he wouldn't be enabled on the vehicle until I purchased it so I went with it and returned two days later to sign the papers. The day I signed the papers, I again asked about the access and was told that he would have to call and get it set up. Over the following two weeks I kept calling and texting him about the access and got no where. I finally called Sirus XM to get it enabled on my vehicle and was told that my vehicle doesn't have the capability. I immediately contacted Nick who insisted again that my vehicle comes it with. About a week later Nick finally informed me that what Sirus told me is correct but that he would order a model to have put in my vehicle so that I have XM access, he shared with me that it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive. After a month and a half of not hearing from Nick, I reached out to him and was told that the part was on back order. Fast forward to 3/29/19, I reached out to Nick for an update on the part and was told that he is ordering the part from another vendor and it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. Since then, I have texted Nick on 4/30 & 5/2 for a update and still haven't got a reply back from him. I would also like to add that back in January, I contacted the general manager and left a voicemail of my issue but never heard back from him. I definitely won't be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership again nor will I refer anyone here. read more

Please stay away from this dealership. My dad needed parts for his truck because he hauls horses for extra money. The parts he needed you can only get through a Chrysler dealership. They do not make aftermarket fuses. They REFUSED to sell him these parts and after he became angry they kicked him out and told him to never come back. They forget that his family has spent over $200,000 on vehicles, parts, and service in the last three years at this place. The two that were rude and unprofessional were the owners nephews. One asked him "if you needed them so bad why didn't you get them from a parts store? Oh wait you can't". This is not the first time these people have been rude and hateful. The parts managers are rude every time I need a part. If you have issues with this dealership please call Chrysler to file a complaint. Their customer service was top of the line and said they will look in to this dealerships behavior. I will ensure I visit any other Chrysler dealership for sales, service, and parts, even if I have to drive across the country, before I ever go back to this one.
