Beth really came through for us for our winter wedding at Allan House. She created a beautiful floral circular arch, my bouquet, floral rings, boutonnieres, wrist corsages as well as adding greenery to the wine bottles and lanterns on our guest tables. She also, provided pillar candles throughout the ceremony space that really pulled together our whimsically romantic theme. We are including a few of the initial pictures but hope to add in the floral rings and bouquet at a later date. They were gorgeous! Throughout the time leading up to the event, Beth was very communicative with us. We especially were impressed with her quoting process. She sent out a questionnaire and then proceeded to provide a visual and dollar breakdown of her vision for us including possible types of flowers (seasonality could vary the flower type). I worked mainly with Alex from Exquisite Petals and my experience was exquisite. :) I came to Alex with a tight budget and big dreams and she made everything absolutely perfect, all while staying within budget and limiting the amount of waste. Alex is patient, creative, kind, and realistic and I can't rave about her enough! She helped me determine necessities versus nice to haves and what was most important to us versus what we could give a little on in order to make those important things happen. She talked me through different types of flowers and their pros and cons and pricing, various options for displaying the flowers (Exquisite Petals provides some pedestals and vases for you to rent!), hanging installments, bouquets and boutonnieres, table arrangements, sign arrangements, and really any idea that popped into my head. One thing in particular that I was hyperfocused on was doing some sort of arrangement behind our acrylic seating chart sign to really make the words on the sign stand out. Alex went down numerous rabbit holes with me on this, sketching out and planning various ways we could make this come to life, while staying within our tight budget. Alex also was a huge help in planning our hanging arrangement- I was extremely picky regarding the disco balls and how they looked and Alex nailed it perfectly. Her honest suggestions and guidance throughout the planning process was not only super helpful, but also very refreshing. And huge shoutout for the rental options! We rented the pillars for our ceremony arrangements, the disco balls in the hanging arrangement, all of the vases, and many of the candles. This is so helpful because you end up with a lot of stuff to take home after the wedding, so this limits that a bit, there's less waste, and you save a bit of money renting versus buying. I can't recommend Alex and Exquisite Petals enough! They're subject matter experts in florals and their kindness and willingness to work with you makes them really stand out! Beth was amazing to work with. Choosing Exquisite Petals to provide floral needs for our wedding is arguably the best decision that we made. We got married in October of 2017. We found Exquisite Petals through a recommendation form our photographer. Before reaching out to Beth, we read reviews and looked at pictures on countless websites. We were happy with the reviews and the photos initially, but I have to say that after working with her I do not think the current reviews/photos do her justice. Beth is very hands on and dedicated to what she is doing. When she promises to make your wedding beautiful -- she means it. She listened attentively, she was extremely reliable and responsive. She was patient as we worked through multiple iterations of the initial proposal and order. I cannot say enough about her customer service. Not only was she easy to work with, but the results of her effort absolutely BLEW ME AWAY. I had a vision board on Pinterest and I had high hopes for my own wedding. However, I knew that in reality, my expectations might be too high (Pinterest weddings are like fairy tales that you only hope to come close to mimicking) so I was actively trying to lower my expectations leading up to our wedding -- I did not want to be disappointed. Beth and her team completely exceeded my expectations. The bouquets were identical to what I wanted but twice the size. The ceremony decorations were lush and dreamy. The receptions was beyond my wildest dreams - HUGE centerpieces, lush trees, hanging greenery. She completely transformed the space into my Pinterest board. Everything was perfect. Not only were the flowers flawless, but Beth was SO dedicated to sticking to my budget. I received proposals from multiple vendors and Beth by far had the best price. I know that she went out of her way to give me as much for my money as she was able to provide. I cannot tell you how many compliments I got that night from guests and continue to get from individuals who weren't even at the wedding but saw photos regarding the flower arrangements and decor. Reasonable prices for the types of flowers I got, INCREDIBLY helpful with flower names and styles (I had literally no idea) and she can work WONDERS in your budget. She knows about shapes, colors, seasonality, price - just spot on. I was able to give her peacock feathers to incorporate into her work, and she did it better than I ever would have imagined. Daffodils are my favorite flower, so I was hoping to use them for my wedding, but Beth gave me a heads up 2 months in advance that because spring came early this year, we needed to discuss backup plans in case they weren't available. The flowers were HUGE and they smelled amazing! I love lilies, and the lilies Beth found were so big and gorgeous! Wow! I was BLOWN away with how gorgeous the bouquets and the arrangements were. I felt like the flowers really set the mood for the wedding and are a big part of the theme you're trying to perceive. I have been a terrible procrastinator in writing this review! Beth did the flowers for my rehearsal dinner and wedding back in October. She is AWESOME!!! I loved the flowers and it was depressing that I couldn't keep them around in our house after the wedding since we were going on our honeymoon. I need to upload some of the pictures at some point to show how great they looked. I knew what color I wanted when we started but other than that we talked through what I was going for and decided on what to go with together. I also brought some pictures of flowers that I liked but I think mine turned out better than any I had seen. We decided later on in the planning process to do flowers for the rehearsal dinner, so I just told her the venue, (I don't think I even had an idea of colors), and she had some great ideas and they were awesome. She went with bright, fun colors and put some fruit in the vases as well as some LED lights in the large flower display. I found Beth through a referral from my wedding planner. After looking through her portfolio on her site, I knew instantly that I wanted her to do the flowers for my wedding. I was planning to have all of my bridesmaids wear black dresses and different bright colored shoes, so I knew I wanted the flowers to be different too. When I would tell most people about this idea I got funny looks. I think Beth was the only person who "got" my vision and she made suggestions about matching the flowers to the shoes, and it turned out great! Her touches really made everything perfect. I called Beth late in the game, two weeks before my wedding. I was going to do all of my own flowers, but at the last minute, we decided that boutonnieres and corsages would be too much to do the day before the wedding. Thank goodness Beth was able to do them for us! She had another wedding, but she agreed to do these for us. She also made a beautiful head wreath for our flower girl. She agreed to use the same flowers as what I had already chosen. She gave us the extra flowers too. Everything matched very well. The only thing I would have preferred is that the flowers for the boutonnieres and corsages would have been a little smaller. They were a bit too large. Also, the grooms boutonniere exploded as his mother tried to put it on him. They managed to get it on with a needle and thread. We found Beth on one of the many wedding sites as our Austin wedding was a destination wedding. Our first impression of her was great as she had photos of different varieties of flowers so we could exactly understand what our options looked like. She really listened to us and took it all in. She also tried to get an idea of the feeling of our wedding and our taste in general. We were on a budget and she came back right where we needed to be rather than $500 more like several others who just tried to push the budget. Well, the outcome was beyond perfect. She did everything we asked and then some. Our wedding turned into a romantic dream because of what she did. My bouquet was everything i had hoped for and more. Guests continued to comment on the amazing floral arrangements throughout the night. I would recommend her to anyone. It's amazing how the perfect flowers can elevate the entire feeling of your wedding. Something else is that I don't know how she did what she did in our budget. Her value is just fantastic. She is honest and upfront about exactly what you are going to get depending on the budget and time of year. I planned my wedding on my own and when meeting with vendors I was always weary about the ones that said "yes" to everything I wanted. You don't want that. In the end you will be disappointed. She went above and beyond to get some special flowers for my bouquet that were not usually avaliable in the fall especially in Texas. She also stayed and flipped the ceremony site for a very small fee. When you use her she allows you to use all of her rental items like votives, lanterns etc. That saved a lot of money.
