Bought a package of 40 HBO sessions and noticed significant improvement in both mental clarity and circulation after only about 10 sessions. The staff are all very nice and attentive without being pushy of their other offerings. I will continue to be a customer for the well being aspect of these treatments. read more

Do not waste time and money traveling to this place. Their scheduling system lacks basics to reserve your seat and theyve canceled multiple treatments last minute-leading to hundreds of dollars in travel expenses for nothing! Pay to go anywhere else. Beware of Extivita's pre-purchase policy: When I contacted them to request a refund since I had moved out of the area, they told me that, refunds are not allowed after 1 year, even if the service was never used and a doctor's note(!) is required to even consider a refund -- despite never needing a doctor's note to purchase the package. This is deeply disappointing. Life happens -- people move, medical needs change, and services like this should offer reasonable flexibility, especially for families dealing with complex medical conditions. Even airline miles don't expire after a year, yet Extivita seems to think it's acceptable to keep your money with no service provided. I want to warn other patients and anyone considering prepaying: if you are unsure, beware - or your plans change for any reason, your money may be lost. Their "terms and conditions" may be buried in fine print, but ethically, this policy lacks compassion -- especially from a clinic serving vulnerable populations. Extivita is the best! I had found Hyperbaric therapy last summer as an adjunct treatment for my Lyme disease. The HBOT supported my body in ways in which I couldn't do through oral supplementation. Oxygen therapy has made the largest measurable difference in my progress and the nurses and support staff over at Extivita are so compassionate and thoughtful. I also had a chance to meet the owner Ed who clearly has his heart in the right place! He has put together such a great team... If you go you will most likely see Elena, Jackie and Pam. They are so kind and welcoming. For anyone who is not familiar with hyperbaric treatment, it is the process of supporting the body and treating disease through use of 100% oxygen while under pressure. The feeling during treatment is similar to being on an airplane and is not uncomfortable at all. HBOT is used either with monoplace chamber(one person per chamber) or multiplace chamber(more than one person). Extivita has multiplace chambers and during the course of my treatments I have met so many wonderful people who are also doing treatment. Because hyperbaric is good for so many conditions you may meet someone who is getting treatment for a debilitating disease or they may be doing a series of treatments to increase their performance as an athlete or just overall benefit their health. If you are even considering HBOT you definitely need to go to see the wonderful people over at Extivita! read more
