Be warned. I went in to look at an SUV listed at 45k. Everything was going well, did the test drive and was working with a younger guy named Gabriel. Everything seemed fine. Test drive went well and I was ready to make an offer. He asked me upfront if I was wanting to pay outright or finance. I was still on the fence about different options, so I let him know that and said we should figure out first the numbers, how much we can take off, taxes and fees, etc. He went to his "next person above him" named Vinny and "talked" numbers. Vinny says they can't go lower than taking off $500, and they couldn't even afford to throw in all-weather mats on the deal. After a lot of talking and trying different ways to negotiate to make all parties happy, we got to a point where we finally agreed on the price with only taking $500 off because they literally would not budge. Vinny came and sat down and discussed options and asked again how we planned on paying (financing/cash) and I said I was still undecided but I wanted to make sure I had my ducks in a row before we made a decision. He even told us we did not have to finance with Nissan if we were more comfortable with our own credit union or finance options. We let Gabriel know we were ready to proceed. My husband went outside to call our insurance company and I sat there getting ready to wire money, when Gabriel came back and said Vinny said "Jeff the manager" took the $500 dollars off back off the table since we decided to pay upfront. I went outside and discussed with my husband, obviously very frustrated. My husband said we would proceed but to see why they would strip $500 back from a Veteran for literally no reason. So I went back in to ask Gabriel if I could talk to Vinny or "Jeff" who is nowhere to be found. He kept just saying "yeah I can get him but he won't change his mind, etc etc". I had to ask around 5 times to discuss with them before he finally left to get Vinny. Mind you, my husband is on the phone with auto insurance trying to add the SUV to the policy. Vinny comes over very rudely and basically tells me the $500 is off the table and that he would have never offered it if he knew we wanted to pay upfront (he knew it was an option and even printed out multiple offers- one stating cash). Then when I told him we discussed it multiple times he tried to gaslight me into saying he never knew we might pay upfront and so I brought up the fact that he stated we could finance through our own companies of choice, so it should make a difference how we pay. He said in all his 20+ years he had never offered that to a client. All the time this is going on, I'm asking Gabriel "didn't he say this, didn't he say that" and he was cowering and just slowing shaking his head yes like he agreed but wouldn't be my life line. Vinny eventually got so irate about being called on his lies that he told me "we actually aren't going to sell this to you upfront- not even full price, you're only allowed to finance. That's the rules. No cash offers can be accepted. I will not be selling this to you. Goodbye". And walked away. Gabriel just sat there. I even asked him if that's true about buying outright not be allowed and he said he's sold cars outright many, many times so he didn't know what to say. I had to have my son go get his dad to let him know we didn't need insurance. All this to say, Vinny never approached me in front of my husband. Only ever came over while my husband was doing a test drive and I sat with my kids, and only when he waited for my husband to go out to call insurance and he pulled his bull crap. The only time he spoke to my husband was briefly to discuss options and basically ran away to talk to "Jeff". This is not an honest transaction. I will not speak about the company as a whole as I haven't dealt with them before, but let this be your information upfront before dealing with these people and things specifically. read more

I bought a Kia Sorento from there with 104800 miles. I put 5000 down and no I did not get a warranty at time of purchase. I had the car for 9 days amd only put 700 miles on it and while driving 60mph on the highway with my daughter, it shut off while driving and had to pull over. After getting it towed there I was told my engine was blown! I called and asked if there is loaner or anything that could be done and was told there was nothing they can do. So I had to dish out another 1000 for a rental that I dont have. They had to send it to Kia to replace the engine which km grateful for that at least. But just feel like something else should be done for me as well for all the hassle im dealing with!! read more

The sales person at the dealership also yelled at me when I mentioned about potential paying cash after I asked about 0% finance questions. Whoa... I'm so glad I didn't give them a business. I believe this dealership, and the salesperson Jessica Bliffen, took advantage of a 89 year old man who clearly should not have been sold a car. He arrived spontaneously to their dealership upon learning his old car would not pass inspection. He arrived walking with a cane and in a mental state where he should have already had his license taken away (dr wanted to introduce the idea slowly). She sold him a next-to-new car (7964 miles) on-the-spot without giving him time to think about it, go home and get his title for trade in, to go to the bank to get the funds and perhaps speak to his wife and family about the idea. Instead she drove with him to his bank to get the funds immediately. Within a week he had already dented and scratched the passenger side front and back doors driving too close to a curb. Three months later the doctor took away his driver's license. Now, six months later he has finally signed over the title (stubbornly because he wanted to drive his new car) and I need to sell the car that has lost $8,000-10,000 of value from what he paid (overpaid????!!!) even though it only has an additional 1500 miles on it. My father was taken advantage of by this dealership. When I called to register a concern with the sales manager, Jeff Petka, he argued with me and then hung up on me. Clearly, they have no ethics. Think twice about supporting a dealership that takes advantage of elderly people. read more

In January 2025, my vehicle started experiencing acceleration problems and a check engine light. I took it to Boss Automotive in West Chester, PA, where they diagnosed the check engine light code as a throttle body issue. Despite their thorough inspection, they concluded that the throttle body was in good condition. The mechanic tested and cleared the codes.Two days later the problem returned so I decided to seek a second opinion, I did a google search and found Exton Nissan, I dropped my car off at the dealership and two days later they informed me that the throttle body needed replacement. I was told it would cost over $900 for this service on January 29, 2025. I paid and agreed based on their diagnosis to replace the throttle body. On March 5, 2025, approximately one month and five days later the same issues resurfaced. Car not accelerating and check engine light on. I took the car back to Boss Automotive, and their mechanic confirmed that the original error codes were still present. Based on their diagnosis initial diagnosis by Exton Nissan the codes are to replace the throttle body.I reached out to Exton Nissan, since this was the same issue that happened before and the codes are the same and the throttle body was replaced. I was informed that there was no warranty on the throttle body, I expressed my dissatisfaction with Lauren, the assistant service manager, that I just replaced the throttle body a month ago and that I believe my car was misdiagnosed because the codes are the same and if I replaced the throttle body why would the codes be saying to replace throttle body, Lauren stated she had to speak to the Service Director and would call me back, she then called me back 15 mins later and advised me to bring the car in for further inspection. I asked Lauren if the dealership would tow the car because I believed the issue was due to improper diagnosis on January 29, 2025. She advised that if the issue was different, I would have to pay the towing cost. I insisted that I didn't believe the issues were different and that the problems stemmed from the original issue. She said she would call back once the car was diagnosed.On March 7, 2025, I received a call from Lauren at 9:45am stating that they did another diagnostic test on the car and checked the the throttle body and it was was functioning correctly, the issue they found was the wiring is bad and the repair estimate was nearly $1,000 and take 3-4 hrs.I expressed my frustration with what I perceived as a misdiagnosis and poor service. Lauren assured me she'd escalate the matter to the service director and contact me. However, after waiting five hours without a call, I called and Jason answered the call, he provided me with the repair estimate and when I expressed my concerns about the misdiagnosis he stated he wasn't involved in decision-making and could only provide the cost of fixing my car because Lauren left early due to illness, and he was the only person in the service department at the desk and he was doing the best he could.I requested to speak to Joe Spiller, the service director, but my attempts to escalate the matter were unsuccessful. He was unavailable and I was told by Jason I'd receive a call back.After the call with Jason I was not satisfied so I contacted the dealership and asked to speak to Derek Bush, the owner. I contacted Mr. Bush via phone and email to express my concerns about the service performed on my car. He promptly returned my call, which I appreciated. During our conversation, he stated my car had both a wiring issue and a throttle body issue. However, he emphasized that the decision to replace the throttle body was solely based on the diagnostic machine's recommendation.I disagreed with this decision, believing the diagnosis was inaccurate because the technician didn't say my car had a wiring problem in January and why was the same code " replace throttle body was showing up even though I replaced the throttle body a little over a month ago. Despite my concerns, Mr. Bush maintained that the technician had accurately diagnosed the problem. In light of my dissatisfaction, he offered to help by waiving the tow fee and splitting the labor costs, which he estimated to be around $500. I was not satisfied with their incompetence read more

I turned car in 2 months before my lease and received a bill for missed lease payments. when I contacted the office they never got back to me and when they finally did get back to me they said there was nothing they could do. I had a zero star experience with the service dept. $1,500 replacement of an NOx Sensor on a 2016 Nissan Titan XD Diesel. I mentioned that I would like to know why the part failed when I scheduled service, was told they will not be able to tell. So I asked to have the old part when they were done, was told "no problem." When I called to find out if the truck was done, they told me there was an additional $70 "core fee" if I wanted to keep the broken part. They literally were charging me for a broken part that I owned. If this was warranty work I would understand, but it is not, I paid $900 for the new NOx sensor. I was told that if they did not send the part back to Nissan corporate, corporate would charge the dealer $70. They effectively were trying to steal my broken NOx sensor or ransom it back to me for $70. There are many other way they could have positioned this to avoid the whole issue. Price transparency on the front end would have avoided the whole thing. This is my last of many disappointing experiences with the service department at Exton Nissan. They have lost my business and I will be going to Ardmore or Concordville for my next truck. read more

Paid my deposit, got financing, etc. I was told that the car had an issue with the headrest and the dealer - Exton Nissan - was waiting on a part. I'm working from home during this pandemic and I have not had a car in a few years so I figured a few more days would not hurt. Well here we are at July 15th and I still have not seen the car I paid my deposit for. TERRIBLE service department. Don't go here. I purchased my vehicle here and was a regular service customer for 6 years. They are slow and do not care about retaining their customers. Snarky service advisors. Made appointment to have check engine light on researched. Left car night before. Did not look at it until the afternoon and they could not figure out the issue despite having all day. I explained to the rep that I "Might" need the car back if it is not finished by the end of the day. Got a call back in about an hour saying my car is "finished". Pick the car up and my service receipt clearly indicates that the light is off i.e. fixed. A reasonable person would think between these two communications that the issue was fixed. 2 hours later it comes back on. Call service department back and my Service Advisor "K" acknowledges that they didn't actually do anything and indicates that I should not have picked up the car because it wasn't done and if I want them to look at it again, they will charge another fee. Despite the notes on my receipt saying "Light is off now. Completed" and her calling me and telling me "the car is done". I'm naturally going to take this as the issue is fixed. I at no point requested the car back unfinished as the rep later tried to contend. I sent an e-mail to the main e-mail address for Exton Nissan explaining the dilemma and asking for help given my long-term relationship. They never responded. Exton Nissan's mission statement indicates "they want to build a relationship with you. That is complete nonsense. I've never had a more apathetic purchase/service experience. I then took my car to United Tire in West Chester. In 5 minutes - without an appointment - (and for free I might add) they correctly diagnose the issue as an O2 sensor issue. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOLLOW-THROUGH. My 75-year-old widowed mother bought a car at the Edison Nissan dealership in the fall of 2021. Lots of fast-talking and hidden fees were never properly explained, even when my brother went into the dealership after the transaction to question certain fees. They still had a hard time reconciling the final bill of sale. Spent way too much time trying to get someone to help us at all, let alone to our satisfaction. The current, still-outstanding issue is that my mom canceled the extended warranty. She sent the required, notarized paperwork via certified mail in Nov 2021 and they have STILL not removed this fee from her loan balance. She has tried in vain to contact John in Finance, Nato in Customer Service, and another on-site service manager. NO RESPONSES. I called the last week of March and was told that a part was going to be ordered immediately and I would be called when it arrives to make an appointment. Four weeks later and no word, I called and had to leave a message for the service team. Again, no response whatsoever. Two weeks later I called and was informed that only one person was in the service department and was very busy. I turned around and called back and spoke with the parts manager who confirmed that his department never received any order for me. I called another Nissan dealer who was very responsive and professional. As a result, I will definitely never do business with Exton Nissan for service or to order my new 400Z car. I went in to try to get an older car to get my car payment down. Jessica tricked me into buying an older car with a terrible smell that they tried to get out, but remained strong. There were also burn marks on the seat, that she did not point out to me. In a few days I realized the car was a lemon, but I was stuck. I wanted to buy my own car back and they charged me 5000,00 more and they didn't do anything to it. What a rip off! I am not happy and have contacted a lawyer to sue them for the loss of money. Before I bought my 2017 Nissan in late 2016, my current Nissan was depreciating faster than what I owed. Sales fought with me for days on price and circular arguing they were correct about their fuzzy math. I know sales has to fight to make a profit but after that mess the service was terrible. I have been taking my nissan cars there for about 5 years with minimal issues but this time it was really bad. I was sold the car with existing exterior paint damage and a damaged part inside (steering wheel tear) sales said they would make right. I took it in for service 5 separate times for these issues and when I got it back there was curb rash on a wheel. Later when I went to get the wheel repaired by another shop, they noticed someone tried to back out the valve stem on the wheel. I think the dealer swapped my wheel out for one on another new car they needed to fix to sell. No proof but I wont and don't recommend anyone go there for sales or service. The pre-existing damage to the vehicle and what happened while in their shop did it for me. Then there was the fit and finish inside the car. Its poorly stitched Vinyl interior is disappointing. My last gen maxima was better quality than the new one. Nissan must make well built versions for the magazine reviews then go back to mediocre construction for the public. Oh and once you buy it, there's nothing you can do but wait to get out of it when the depreciation matches what you owe in a few years. What kills it for me, upper management isn't approving a replacement of a part thinking they will save money on a cheap fix. It a brand new car with less than 1k on the odometer and they just don't care when they lie to your face. Sad to say I've lost any trust in Exton Nissan so I've started to go to to independent repair shops and another NISSAN dealer for service...... anyone not attached to Bush Auto Group. Exton nissan says they want to help but their actions say otherwise. They are real smooth talkers that don't have the knowledge or the skills to do a good job. When I call Nissan consumer affairs, they point me back to Exton nissan so there is no resolve going to corporate. Despite some of the awful reviews, I went here to lease a new Rogue. My Grandmom had gone weeks prior and recommended Cliff Robinson which is who she dealt with. I naturally looked him up and saw some choice words. Nonetheless I went anyway having already been to another Nissan dealer with no luck. I told cliff straight up what I wanted to spend and what the other dealer offered and simply asked him to beat it. To which he said "no problem" and then did just that. I just bought my car 2 months ago and dealership name 's John . He is old man . Look like he was very nice person when the first talk , he said my car will have 3 years guarantee or 100.000 miles ( I bought use car 35.000 miles ) Last week I feel some stink smell in my car I not sure what is that ? I came to Exton Nissan and check it out but you know what did they say ...my car over guarantee , if I want to check and fix machine I must pay for it ...what the heck .....dealership was lier to me , I so upset and payed expensive car without guarantee .
