Remember, as a general rule, storage rental facilities are largely unregulated which means they can raise your rent with 30 days notice to pretty much any amount they want and they know they have you on the hook because you won't want to relocate your stuff. If you get a quoted price online, lock it in for six month or a year by pre-paying if you can. ALSO remember - you can get your own rental unit insurance from any number of companies for half what the rental unit companies will charge you and bring in proof of insurance at the time you rent (but you MUST do it in person). ALSO ALSO remember - you can also bring your own secure lock and not pay $20 for one of their locks. Do all of the above and any smart reasonable manager or employee is going to make your rental process smooth and painless.

Although my final interaction with management initially seemed to end on a better note, many of the things that were stated to me or implied throughout this process have not actually happened. I was led to believe my insurance claim would likely be approved, only to later receive a denial with little explanation or follow-up despite multiple concerns and inconsistencies being raised. To make matters worse, I was charged for a full additional month even after discussions regarding my eviction/termination had already begun. I have still not received a proper response regarding that payment or whether any adjustment or credit will be considered. The company is quick to process charges and fees, but incredibly difficult to reach when customers need actual answers. I have now sent multiple follow-up emails regarding my claim and concerns and have received little to no meaningful response from either management or the insurance side. Calling the provided customer service number is equally frustrating, as the automated/AI system makes it nearly impossible to get through to an actual person for assistance. What remains most upsetting is the fact that items totaling well over $2,000 in value disappeared from my unit, while lower-value belongings -- including a scooter worth around $100 -- were left sitting outside of the unit with other property. That inconsistency has never sat right with me and raises serious concerns about how this entire situation was handled. Throughout my time there, I was a frequent visitor, always paid on time, maintained my unit, and made every effort to communicate respectfully with office staff, especially once the eviction situation began. I repeatedly waited days for promised callbacks or for management to supposedly follow up, only to continue being left without answers. At this point, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability shown throughout this process and am now having to explore legal avenues regarding my missing belongings and the handling of this matter.

You will be impressed with this company, and they are honest…read more ALBO moved me last week, and this was my 2nd time using them. I moved from Delaware to NJ and this time, back to Delaware. My team consisted of Alex, the owner, who honored their 5 % discount if booked 3 weeks before moving, and my movers, Eugene and Serge. Eugene contacted me the day before to confirm & ask some questions about my contents, and he kept me informed all along as to their arrival time. All went well but it took longer than expected with only 2 men. They were careful and followed my instructions re: delicate or previously damaged furniture. I asked if they would tell me when the heavy furniture was coming inside because I wanted to put padding on the legs to protect the wooden floors. This slowed them up but it helped me because I might have forgotten about doing that later. Also, I asked them to carry many boxes to the basement, and that I appreciated so much. I was very concerned about one piece, an antique rocker that had 2 breaks in one leg. Much to my surprise, Eugene placed a reinforced bandage on the leg and I am still using it until I take it to get repaired. While packing the month before, I had forgotten where I had hid some valuable jewelry. Well, low and behold, when my bedroom was already emptied, I saw my 2 stashes of gold and silver on the window sill. When I went to Eugene, I commented that I would never have known if they had kept it, and thanked him profusely. His response, "My parents taught me right, I guess." As far as Albo's rates and overall value go....You can't put a price on this kind of integrity and work ethic. The fact that I used them twice in 2 years speaks for itself. Packing for a move is one of the worst stresses in life. But having a moving company that is reliable and trustworthy will free up your mind to concentrate on other important things during your move.
