You are able to take your vehicle into an enclosed housed and gated area. You can only enter through the keypad. Once a code is entered, a large garage type door opens and you can drive in. This portion of the storage prevents you from the elements. The outside area requires a keypad code to open the gate. This area allows you to drive to your storage and park outside of the unit. Just walked in to inquire regarding pricing and availability. This is the first storage facility I've walked into since we just moved to town. (And by far would be my preferred choice due to location and my perception of facility from the outside.). Flor "helped" me. She asked me for all of my personal information. I inquired why since I just wanted a price outline. She said so she could show me units (which I didn't necessarily yet need - I understand dimensions and prices). I said that's fine but I would not like to receive any follow up solicitation or communication. She said I would but that's what I had to do to get info. She asked details of how big my home was, how much I'd like to store, for how long. I again asked for an outline of general pricing to help guide my thinking regarding unit size. Just a comparative pricing exercise... She replied that she has over 30 units and she was currently working alone (which while perhaps true - it wasn't as though there was another customer in site) and doesn't have all day to spend with me reviewing all the pricing and touring all the units (which again I never once asked to do). I had to leave because if that's the "sales" experience I doubt it gets better from there once under contract.

I looked into it and this is a common scam within shady storage unit facilities. I fully understand pricing could change and introductory pricing may also change, but over 100% increase in pricing is ridiculous, dishonest and practically criminal. They just figure it's too difficult to move stuff again. Save yourself the time and hassle and go somewhere else. We don't need businesses like this in our community.
