Once everything was loaded and they were ready to leave at 10:20 AM, the new house was only about a 15-minute drive away. However, they did not arrive until 10:57 AM. This resulted in nearly an extra hour added to our bill due to unnecessary delays, which felt like the time was intentionally stretched. Additionally, scuffs and dents were left on the walls. I was told these would be fixed by the end of the day on the 12th, but they still have not been repaired. We called yesterday to follow up on the repairs and to have someone look into why it took so long to arrive at the delivery location, but we have not received any response from Two Men and a Truck.

We called West TN Moving & Storage for this move but turned them down when they quoted us $1450 to move our things that we knew wouldn't take more than 4 hours to move. They tried to take advantage by charging for almost 10 hours for a job that would take less than half that time. This time we used Jackson Moving & Storage. They didn't take even one break and they moved very quickly and carefully and were also nice people. Their charge was $495 for everything. They were fair at $150 per hour and didn't try to cheat us. I would highly recommend this company for moving. They don't try to take advantage of you like the others.

I started using Devon a few years ago, the rates were $15 for a 5x5. Thought, oh wow that's great!…read moreSwitched to them because Extra Space started jacking my prices up really high. Devon slowly started to do the same thing, figured it'd stop eventually. It didn't, it eventually got up to $50 a month for a 5x5 that's got no protection from bugs or anything. Being that I would from sun up to sun down almost every day I had no time to come by and check on my stuff or come talk to them about the ridiculous rates increase. Eventually I checked the internet for their prices and found they're starting people at around $15 again so I called up. Said I couldn't get a price match and asked if I could cancel my storage and then resign up. The lady said yes.. makes perfect sense. Didn't have time to come up and do that though unfortunately. I just got around to canceling my storage. After calling for 3-4 weeks I finally ended up pressing 1 for new customer and had a wonderful CSR lady help me and sent a contact report to the site manager who finally called me back the next day. She started out great, but after finding out I had already moved some stuff and took my lock the "final day to be out" changed from the 27th to that afternoon and if I wasn't all the way out by then I would have $130 PER ITEM charged AND she said since my storage wasn't all the way cleaned out it would hurt my credit. Apparently having things still in your storage directly effects your credit. We made an agreement to meet here on a Saturday. Their hours are 9-5. Ive been here since 10:15 and it's now 10:45 and the front door has been locked the entire time. All in all Devon is good for short term storage but absolutely terrible for long term and garbage for customer service. Don't store here.
