BEWARE - UNACCOUNTABLE MANAGEMENT: We paid for years on-time/autopay, to then give notice for a move out 3-weeks in advance. The management team took it upon themselves to then go and cut off out locks, and affix theirs onto our unit. As one would imagine, arriving with a moving crew at $200 per hour to retrieve our belongings on moving day this was a big surprise. The on-site manager had to come and drill their lock off, which took over 30-mins. When we reached out to management the next day, ZOEY, who identifies as the General Manager took no accountability for cutting out locks off and would not provide us with a reason why this would happen. ZOE made erroneous excuses that and refused to provide contact information for her management team. She then hung up on us, twice. ZOEY "THE CLOWN" is an incompetent "manager" and this storage facility broke the law by locking us out of our unit. *ZOEY "THE CLOWN" Excuse: Someone could have broken into their property, Cut my lock off of my unit, install a cylinder lock that only HER office supplies, and then leave with out stealing anything from my unit. I said lady do you know how crazy you sound right now??? She says I know it sounds crazy but i promise you It can happen. Security and access control is way too relaxed. Homeless people rent units and use them as camps. On two occasions I saw the homeless relieving themselves. My unit was broken into twice. Rates started at like $220 and then every couple of months it would raise $10 dollars. But if you went to book a new one online it was cheaper.. go to a different location. read more

Beware buying storage auctions online at this location, we bought one online and it was a unit being lived in, as we loaded it we witnessed several homeless individuals with backpacks coming and going from here. Be very careful as they will not state this in description, and yes what you see in pics is very different than seeing it with your own eyes at a live auction. The man at front counter was very nice, but they know it's going on. Just be careful buying here. read more

I normally only give feedback on places when it's positive experiences, but my experience in this facility has been so poor that in need to warn others. We got a great rate initially, but 3 months in to our lease they increased the rate. They then raised another $100 after 9 months. We selected our unit based on the proximity to the elevator. The elevator has been broken for 90% of our time in the unit. There is rarely a cart available for your use. There is a gate with personalized codes to drive on to the property for "security purposes", but the gate is sitting open as we speak. We have watched homeless people access the building on multiple occasions. Our unit was broken into a few months ago and it took the facility 2 weeks to even notify us. There have been multiple break ins and a renter even walked in on someone breaking in to their unit one day. I tried reaching out to the managing staff and they were less than helpful. read more

I have been waiting on a regional manager to contact us about an issue at one of your locations. We have been told that this issue has been escalated on December 26th but have yet to talk to anyone besides the liasson between the general manager and the regional manager. I have been waiting on a regional manager to contact us about an issue at one of your locations. We have been told that this issue has been escalated on December 26th but have yet to talk to anyone besides the liasson between the general manager and the regional manager. He was less than helpful and extremely rude. His constant interruptions with rebuttals before we had finished explaining our point meant he was not listening and was on the defense from the beginning, which is unfortunate. There was an attempted robbery a few months ago with my unit. Someone had tried to drill our locks out in order to burglarize our unit. The manager called me in and I was able to I.D. the perpetrators on the video he showed to me. He informed me that they were also renters and would be banned immediately. Several months later my unit was breached and again the manager calls me in to show me a video and it's the exact same people. He never banned them and they continued to have access to the building and elevators. This time they ripped the metal door open and took a lot of our valuables. Charges have been pressed and warrants are active for these individuals. The manager tells my friend (who is also on the lease) and I not to enter the unit until they are able to replace the door because of the risk of injury and the liability of your property if we were injured. The metal rolling door was left jagged and sharp so we followed his direction even though our storage unit is left unsecured. He said once the door is fixed I'll be able to retrieve or move my stuff to another unit and would be compensated with free rent. He wasn't sure how he was going to do it but he would work it out and we shouldn't worry. We believed him and put our trust in him and your company. Our unit was breached November 20th. The door was not replaced until December 23rd. We had no access to the unit because we were told not to attempt access because of your company's liability. I talked to the new assistant manager on the December 26th and she informs and she had no knowledge of any of this and was giving a courtesy call because we were past due on a product not recieved or delivered. We were told not to worry about it by the general manager. He would take care of it. Had we been able to access our unit and get our stuff out this could have been avoided. I fill her in and give her the names of the people now wanted by the police for grand Larson, vandalism and burglary and she informs me that they are still being rented to and still have working access codes. That left me dumbfounded. Now we are being charged for a unit we were told not to access by management, all the while my belongings not being secured, the persons involved in both incidents still have access to the facility. We have been robbed and violated on your property and are now being violated by your management team. We have been trying to speak with a regional manager but have been given the run around. I have only had a couple of storage facility experiences, however, Katherine here at this Extra Space made this process seamless! She was amazing to say the least- we were hundreds of miles and she was swift on returning callas, reaching out to us, and making sure we had everything we needed, and that our unit was available when we arrived! She even offered me a larger unit for a better price, it was my oversight online, anytime an employee of the business tries to honestly save you money- you know their integrity is important to them! I could not caution you more to NOT use this storage. They require insurance and oddly enough my space had an attempted burglary and then a few months later was successfully broken in to. I had taken the required insurance and they only paid about 50% of the claim! The people that stole all my items had a storage unit there themselves after the first attempt they had them on camera but let them stay and they robbed me. It's like the Wild West over there. AVOID! read more
