Completely dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful from start to finish. I referred Donnie a long-distance move for my clients, and from the very beginning it was a mess. He rushed through the phone call, failed to gather basic and necessary information, and quoted my clients $1,500, which turned out to be wildly inaccurate. When the movers actually showed up, the price magically jumped to $2,300 -- and even after paying that inflated amount, they still didn't move everything. My clients were forced to rent a U-Haul themselves just to finish the move. Absolutely unacceptable. Communication was nonexistent. At pickup, the movers couldn't even give a rough estimate of when the items would be delivered. My clients' belongings were left in limbo for days, and it took countless phone calls just to get a vague update on where their items were and when they might arrive. This level of disorganization is shocking for a company that claims to be professional. On top of all that, Donnie personally put in writing that I would receive a referral fee. When I followed up to resolve the issue professionally, he completely dodged responsibility -- ignoring messages, blocking my calls, and refusing to communicate at all. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about his character and how this company operates. I was told my concerns were "escalated to customer service," yet I've heard absolutely nothing since. No follow-up. No accountability. No resolution. This company is misleading, unreliable, and operates with zero integrity. They bait customers with low pricing, change terms last minute, and disappear when problems arise. Beau, the owner, visited us and gave an estimate that was very competitive. Throughout the move process they had very good communication. Before the move, we packed up most of the things ourselves, but Phoenix offered to have some of their office staff pack up the fragile items like dishes and art work on an hourly rate. This really helped! On the day of the move, they were on time and they brought in 10 people to pack the van and get us on our way quickly. When they moved us, they did not consolidate and transfer our things to another van, our things stayed in the same van until it reached its final destination. When they unpacked, they were very professional and efficient. To summarize, we had a great experience moving with Phoenix Express and I would highly recommend them for anyone to move with!

They had advanced tools and dollies that were able to help on a number of situations throughout the house. The dollies enabled them to move heavy objects in and out by themselves, not requiring help from the other movers while they were busy. Other tools they had which very notable were these pads that they laid against fragile objects when moving them through tight doorways in order to prevent damage. They were so careful with our things that we did not mind paying a little bit extra for extra cautiousness, after all you move once in a while and want it to be done right. This was definitely one of the aspects that caused me to leave the rating I did. Another thing that I really loved about these guys was that they did not allow me or anyone in my family to partake in carrying objects. They made sure that my parents relaxed and watched, and supervised the movers as they did their job. The manager said that it was their job and that was the reason they were there and being paid. We really appreciate all of the hard work and effort these guys put into our move. Even the truck drivers were inside helping as much as they could until the trucks were full and they had to hit the road. The entire move was scheduled to take two weeks but we managed to narrow that down to about eight business days. I could not be happier with the results. I got assigned a coordinator to give me a quote from their home base in California. After I paid, I arranged a time frame for my household goods. The dispatcher was good at letting me know the time frame. They also got my car shipped and all that. One gripe, if that, is that they don't move your stuff themselves. They contract local companies to do the move for you. In other words, they are what you call a broker. I know this because I asked the movers themselves if they're with Trico and he said, "No, we are a sister company. They contact us and we do the rest." Another gripe is that they charged me a "long haul fee". I had a top floor, corner unit at my apartment complex. They charged me an extra $300 for extra footage for the move. So be wary of that part if you're an apartment dweller. My stuff got to California safely and everything was accounted for. As for my car, again, they contract other auto shippers. My car came back in one piece. I'd recommend Trico. Some may be hesitant if they're essentially a "middle man" of sorts. They were professional with the whole process.

At the start the guys seemed cool, but as the move went on their attitude changed. They started complaining about how much stuff I had even though I did a full intake with them beforehand and we already agreed on a price. They even started insinuating I should go to an ATM to pay them more money, which made me feel uneasy and was unprofessional since the rate was already set. I moved into a brand new building where I'm only the 3rd person on my floor. A hallway light fixture was broken during the move and they told me they didn't do it. However, management knocked on my door later saying they have them on camera breaking the light and damaging the walls. On top of the building damage, my vanity was broken, some furniture was scratched, and the monitor for my work computer is broken. I've asked repeatedly for their insurance information so we can resolve this, but they aren't responding. I believe I've been blocked now because my messages are no longer going through. And if moving dates are dependent upon availability why do customers have to pay 50% upfront to "secure their move date" if you don't actually show up on the date you booked.

The day I purchased the unit there were several people in the office who pretty much just stared at me while I tried to figure out where to get a dolly. i eventually just came back the next day. on my move day - there were zero dolly's left. only 2 in the building and when i asked the rep (a dark skin man with dreads) he just shrugged and laughed it off. it's crazy to think that they only have 2 dolly's for a location that is huge and has multiple floors. very unappealing area, and they will charge you for pretty much anything. the main manager is just rude and very nonchalant, as if he could careless to be there. what really threw me off was the lack of supplies and unwavering attention to all the folks who needed help. the access codes don't even work either
