On Feb 3rd, 2026 I hired two men and a truck. I had actually hired them previously but the closing…read moreon my new place was delayed. I was told that the hourly rate would be more then originally quoted but have never received my bill to know just exactly how much I was charged per hour. I had more furniture then originally anticipated and I accept that as a failure on my part. These men wrapped almost every item of furniture yet still managed to break stuff. One guy picked up my tool chest, after I stated that it was heavy, didn't wrap it just walked away. This item was badly broken upon inspection at the end of the move; I can only guess from being dropped. I did also have a small shoe shelf that a piece was missing from; with it being a plastic part I was unable to repair it. I've found many chips and broken parts in my stuff since, none that really effect functionality one such item is an antique custom built cabinet that is irreplaceable. These men, one in particular tried to push their way into doorways, causing damage to the corners and even took out a big piece of paint on my kitchen cuboard and a chunk from my counters; I hadn't even complained about that. I did however complain about the supervisor that showed up and took up the one guy that knew the mosts time for about 1/2 hour; I was fully charged for this time and quite frankly I want that money back! They never responded to my first correspondence and then tried to tell me to keep the toolbox for them to come and asses, but didn't send that email for over 2 weeks so it was long gone. Their sheer lack of accountability and excesive charges is why I filed a BBB complaint. Theyoffered a refund of 37.00 will cover my broken items and told me that I should have purchased additional insurance, EXCUSE ME!! I 've only asked that 1/2 hour credited back and reimbursment for the toolchest that I've had to purchase. I've filed a complaint, but that has gotten no where as they've not acknowledged it.

I called them up a couple of weeks ago. They did a virtual walk through with me and gave me a fair price. I checked the price against 3 other larger companies. Theirs was the best. On the day of packing, the crew showed up and got right to work. They were super Excellent. They returned the next day to actually move my things to my new home. They showed up with a crew 2x the size of the packing crew and got the job done....door to door...in just under 7 hours. I was extremely impressed with the speed and professionalism and respect that they showed me and my family. It was cool that a lot of the crew had military ties. If I have to move again, I will be contacting Sebastian.

There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. They were are to schedule quick service on a weekday and were right on time.

The day of our move, movers arrived right on time, we gave them a tour of what all we had in the apartment that we needed moved. We still had some lamps and dishes that needed boxed up- they totally took care of it. Most of what we had was a bunch of my Grandmother's wood furniture. Precious to me, and all very heavy. They were very careful how they wrapped and moved everything- which was no easy feat since the place we're moving into is on the second floor with no elevator. I will commend AAA on their desire to rectify the situation. Their representatives were proactive and diligent in reaching out to discuss the issues and attempting to reach a resolution. I&A, true to form, has still been a bit of a nightmare to communicate with but the dust has finally settled between our attempts to directly reach them as well as assistance from AAA's team in getting a response and action from I&A. At this point I'm conflicted about whether or not we would use AAA to broker a future move. Their team has been very professional and helpful during a crisis, but since they farm out your actual move to a third party (like I&A) I would definitely want to research the third party company's reputation extensively before agreeing to move forward with anything. Brokers like AAA can be awesome resources when arranging a more affordable move, but since AAA is just the broker I would highly recommend digging deep on any third party mover that you end up paired with whether you have AAA or another broker handle the deal.

I was so frustrated as it needed to be moved quickly so I did a quick Yelp search and found JT Moving company. They had no previous reviews, but I decided to take a chance and reach out. I sent a request for quote on the Yelp app and within minutes JT got back to me. This was around 7pm last night- but he still replied. Within minutes I got the delivery scheduled and true to his word, he communicated with me and the seller of the tub today while arranging his arrival and delivery time. The tub was delivered in a closed box truck and I watched him unload it with care. The price was a fair price and he offered excellent customer service. If I need to move again or have something moved, I will call him again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of the tub and the EXCELLENT customer service!!! (And for being able to arrange this so quickly!)
